The service department and my service advisor did a great job. Can’t say the same about the general manager and the appraisal manager there. Raul Dominguez and David Amaya are very unprofessional and after calling and leaving them messages for about two weeks they couldn’t even take two minutes during the day to return my phone calls but yet I saw them walking up and down the showroom laughing and joking around with other coworkers when they told me they didn’t have time and were very bus. Safe to say they suck and I will never purchase another vehicle from Gillman Chevrolet

The salesman, Carlos Escandon, was absolutely amazing. Initially, I had spoken to a different salesman to look at the car but when I showed up, he wasnt available. Mr. Escandon greeted us as soon as we got off our vehicle and walked us inside. We informed him about the 12 Mustang and unfortunately the keys were with the service department but even then Mr. Escandon attempted to get ahold of them. We came back the next morning and were able to test drive the car. He took notes on all the discrepancies I found, which we reviewed once we started to talk about the price.We went inside to talk numbers and for once I felt like the salesman was on my side. I made an offer and he didnt even push back, he simply took my offer and ran it to his boss. In other situations, Ive had to coax the salesman to do this. Ive even had situations where the salesman, even before taking the offer to his boss, will try to talk me into a higher price. Mr. Escandon respected my offer by taking it straight up the chain. That is highly appreciated. Ive bought five cars and this is by far the best experience Ive had. Even the billing/financing department was awesome. His name escapes my memory at this time, but he was also very attentive, explained all the numbers, and answered all my questions.The entire time I felt at ease, comfortable, and welcomed. And thats exactly what every car-buying experience should be.

I was required to place a deposit for parts not in stock on a Friday and was told the parts would be in on the following Tuesday. I made 7 phone calls on Wednesday was unable to speak with anyone in service and nobody returned my numerous messages. I waited all day Thursday and still no reply. I was forced to go to the dealership in order to speak with Matthew, my assigned service rep. . I demanded my deposit back and went to Firestone. They completed the repair in a single afternoon and they communicated.

Dont purchase the warranty! Dont purchase Preowned vechicles! As soon as you leave the lot the gum drys and all the warning lights come on. They dont return phone calls. And they suggest for better service to take the vechicle you purchased from them to another dealership. They CAN NOT help you. Ethier someone lied or someone doesnt want to work. Turned my drean truck into a nightmare.

Service took way too long. I called to request to have service engine soon light on. I sent a message with another employee to the person who took my truck in, and I left two voicemails for him. Never got a call back about that until the vehicle was almost ready. By that time, the attendant said that the truck would have to be left over night just to have the service engine soon light be checked.

Alexis was my salesperson, very nice person, got me the answers to all questions I had. I felt as if he was being honest and forthcoming. The process was quicker than I thought and I was very pleased with the outcome of the deal.

Most of the time Gillman is quick. This time not so much. The man handling our vehicle went to lunch and the guy who took over didnt bother with us. Ehhh

Asked for my car to be detailed, they had it for several days, continued to lie to me about when it would be ready. They have a real issue with let me call you back and then not calling. Not to mention $2300 later and my Check Engine light is on when I finally get my car returned to me. Waited for an hour and a half to pick up my vehicle after they had already told me it was done, but it wasnt, they were just getting to the detailing part, which it wasnt even done, they didnt even wash the bugs juice off the front of my vehicle.

Was nervous about trading in my car as it was my first vehicle but our salesman Larry Lozano was able to help get me a better deal on a new truck rather than the used one i looked at. Larry was friendly and very helpful, he helped make the whole process quick and easy! Definitely would recommend to ask for Larry if you’re in the market for a new or used vehicle. 👏🏼

I went to Gillman in Harlingen on 3:12/2021 at 9am was there for about 3 hrs then I have to leave to go back to work and they said they would call me. 36 hours later I was denied all that time I kept pushing and texting the seller and he kept telling me the manager was busy with customers and he hasn’t look at my file and then he would look at it and waited for banks to approve me. They tell you they will get you in a car but they couldn’t I told them my credit score was low and they say they work with all kinds of banks and they would get me approve my credit file was pulled over 25 times and nothing I am very disappointed!!!

Waste of time was looking into trade in my car they said theyll take a look at it & never did!! Had to call them 3 times every day for 3 days. My salesman asked for my number twice to send me a link for my information and never did. Once complained to the lady in the front she had to go looking for my salesman and in the end transferred my call to a new salesman which didnt pick up his phone neither! Also my step-dad went in and they said he was approved and later called him saying he wasnt??!?! Which one is it? Seems like they dont take you serious here. Take your business else where.
