Just got a brownie sundae here 😍 it was amazing! And the place was cute with a 50s vibe.

This place use to be the old Hygeia. We use to come when I was a kid. Still the same but they have added a few food items. Everyday they have a special and Friday special is $5.99 burger combo at chips n a drink and $3.99 milk shakes. There was along wait to get order and another while to make it but there was only one girl that was doing everything. Poor girl was running around being waitress/ cashier/ making all the orders. They need extra people to help but I didn’t mind the wait. Everything was great. Thank you for keeping this ice cream shop open still.

Ice cream was great but the hot fudge was cold. Did not melt the ice cream at all. The service was a bit flat. The server took our order and brought the ice cream but not even a good afternoon or even a thank you from her.

Brings back memories when it was Hygeia. Still has the same benches. Love this place❤️

My ex boyfriend (He was my fiance at the time) and I drove down south in 2014... 7 years ago this weekend. I found out this was a historical place and wanted to try it. The owners had just bought the place and my ex got a rootbeer float and I got a cotton candy sundae....we loved it!!! The owners were awesome and explained they were going to update the place. Looks like theyve done it! Id give a 5 👍

Didnt really like the place it wasnt all that it was to be, was expecting more of a local made ice cream unfortunately it was blue bell. Not to friendly or welcoming as was put on channel 5 ...

They have food too. But they have milkshakes, banana splits, and sundaes. I had a butterscotch and fudge sundae. My friend got Laurens sundae. I loved both of them. I will be going more frequently.

First time there. Everyone loved what they got (which was only ice cream) and the service was good and friendly and fast. Would definitely go again.

Best little ice cream shop in Harlingen. Very cozy shop with a home town feel that I happily spend my money in. I recommend Sea salt caramel, unless theyre low then save the last bit for me 😏

Let me just say it is the cutest spot!!!It would be over the top if the staff was dressed in 50s attire & they had a jukebox...we will definitely be back here, the staff was friendly and all I could think of is I wish I was the owner 😍

They serve Blue Bell ice cream. They offer sandwiches, sundaes, shakes, and cones. The sundaes were good. There was no one in there when we went though.

Very cheap food and ice cream. Building is old but the friendly service, price and quality make up for it.

This is an okay place for ice cream. It was not busy at all and the ice cream was grocery store grade. Sundaes were tasty though and staff was pleasant and helpful.

Kinda old fashion surroundings. Ice cream was good. Best part (from my 7yr old granddaughter) so many options for toppings on your ice cream. Will visit again to taste menu options.

Quiet little place that deserves a second, third and fourth look. Ice cream is always so great, but dont forget they also have different types of burgers, chicken and sandwiches. Plus all the different snacks to indulge in. Go take a look for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

We always get the banana splits and they are amazing. they usually have specials on them on Thursdays. The ice cream is always delicious and from Blue Bell the service is always great. No long waits they usually get to you quick and greet you as you come in and as you leave. Its a great atmosphere very welcoming.

Loved mixed berry shake

This place is great. The staff is super nice and they make great shakes. It feels like youre going back in time as they make floats, malts, sundaes, and shakes and have several different ice cream flavors. We went with our extended family with about 20 people and they were very patient with the large group and everyone liked what they got. They also make pretty good burgers.

When you wanna enjoy an old fashion ice cream cone. The best ice cream is here. They have great snacks as well.

The food is delicious, and well priced. The ice cream is good too. The service however could be better. Had to call the server for refills or whatever we needed.

Cant go wrong with Bluebell Ice Cream. Kids enjoy going to the Scoop Ice Cream Parlor. They have sugar free vanilla ice cream for those of us not wanting all the sugar!

2nd time going here and once again it didnt disappoint. Ordered the triple scoop prailine pecan waffle cone and the prices are the best around! Great affordable place to go with the family.

Horrible service, took my daughter to try it for the first time yesterday. I didnt notice that the store was closing in 2 minutes, but the rude employee made sure of that. She seemed very annoying when we sat and immediately let us know that I literally had 2 minutes before closing. Im sure we couldve ordered our cones and paid within that timeframe, but instead we left. Very horrible service!!!!

Great service. Took me back to when my kids were small .

My aunt left her phone on the table in the shop and the only people who were in there were winter texans who had left before her and the workers, so the stolen phone had to have been by one of them, when she told the manager she said she couldnt do anything about it because the workers said they didnt take it. None of my family or friends will be going there again. Tweeted about it, and posted on facebook.
