I am a skeptic. I look at reviews and determine if I want to do business with someone based on what I see in the comments of those reviews. I had no choice this time I had to use this shop because the work had to get done ASAP. That’s not saying the reviews were bad but necessity made my decision. The owner quoted me on parts and labor for the repairs. I was surprised that the cost was lower, much lower than what I had been quoted by shops that could not get me in right away. Within a few hours the owner called me and said “we have a problem”. I was not happy of course. I was relieved when he laughed and said your cars is done. Then I was even happier when he said the price would be reduced because some of the parts they ordered and some of the labor would not be required. Talk about honesty! I had my car serviced some time back and never wrote a review. An employee of mine asked where he should take his car today. The first place I thought of was this one. Now I am writing a review because this place deserves to be recognized for its honesty and integrity.

I’ve been looking for an honest “mom and pop” shop since I moved to Harrisburg. I appreciate the service that Riz Auto provides. They’re quick, honest and well priced. Highly recommend.

I was having some car issues and needed to find a place in the Harrisburg area that could take a look at it as soon as possible. These guys didn’t require an appointment and just told me to swing by and they’d take a look at it. They ended up finding the issue and doing all the repairs within a few hours at a pretty reasonable price. Really pleased with the work they did and how accommodating they were. They were friendly and honest guys and I plan to continue bringing my car here for any future work I need done.

Great people who care about their clients. Ive been bringing my cars here for about 3 years. Most times they just tell you when is good time to come in, no appointment needed. I cant stress enough how friendly and accommodating the people are.

After being let down by several local shops, I stopped back at Riz Auto today. I stopped back because I remembered their honesty and integrity on an issue with my car. I appreciated what they did, and hopefully I can give them more of my business going forward.

My car was drove around because they couldn’t figure out the problem got it back with barley any gas, so I took it to another shop and they figured it out within a day and only charged me $37. People that work here are nice, wouldn’t recommend taking your car here unless you really have too.

Took my Lexus to get the water pump changed, he did really great job on it, took my other cars as well and he done really good job on my Toyota pick up, my jeep Cherokee and Nissan Altima. I will highly recommend him to any of my friends.Keep up the good work.

Whoever is giving this place good reviews must be their friends trying to help them scam. We took our car there for a check engine light that we already had diagnosed as an issue with our ABF breaks. They said it was a thermostat and changed that and a hose, charged us $200 to fix it. We got the car from them this morning and as soon as we left the check engine light came back on. We took it back immediately. They checked it again and it was the hose they had replaced! It wasnt on correctly and they had to fix it. Then we left again and went to sheetz. My husband turned the car off to get gas. When he went to start it again it barely made the click, let alone had the engine try to start. Of course when we called, it wasnt their fault. Weve already started filing. *UPDATE* (same day) We took it to H&S and they said it is the breaks and that we didnt need a new thermostat at all.

I took my Yukon Denali there on 7/31/17. Wheel barrings needed replaced. New axel front brakes and one other thing I cant recall, however it needed replaced. They were so supportive, because I was very upset. Considering I was driving when all this happened on 83 n. Within no time my car was looked at and fixed by the end of the day. They are very professional, kind and care about the work they do. Prices at the dealership would have been triple. Thanks for everything and my safety.
