I stopped in for some hair stuff. It is my birthday month and I was pleasantly surprised to get a nice sized sample of Clinique Moisture Surge since the September gift was no longer in stock. I also with decided to buy lipstick because as a bartender I need something that stays on and I was pointed ton y x long wearing lipstick with a gloss that goes over top. The gentleman that waited on me was very great and his customer service was perfect and I cant remember what his name on his name tag said because I looked because I wanted to leave a good review! Im sorry whoever you are! Greg Craig Steve? I believe he was a manager or an assistant manager or something. Thank you!

I come here pretty regularly for hair care and skin care products. Staff is pretty helpful. There is a male associate in his 30s who is super knowledgeable and super helpful. (Will update when I get his name) My salon experience has honestly been way better at the Mechanicsburg location, but that may just be a question of knowing who to book your services with and who to avoid. Otherwise no complaints about this location.

The customer service at this Ulta store is top notch. Everyone is always very friendly and accommodating. Your are always greeted with a smile and hello upon entering the store. This day and age, that does not always happen.

I am not much of a beauty product consumer but I came in here to get a gift for my niece. The staff was on their phones the whole time except for on man with white hair. He looked about 20 and asked me about what I needed. Store was pretty well organized and has a nice look to it. The prices were high by my opinion. This may be wrong considering I am not the typical beauty product consumer. It was an overall fine experience.

Store is clean and semi-well organized but every time I go in there, the staff is always on their phones ignoring customers. Im all for being able to answer a text in your free time, even on the clock, but when a customer is wandering around clearly looking for something, I do expect the phones to go away and for the associates to ask if help is needed. This has happened on more than one occasion, most recently yesterday, so Ill just start going to Sephora.

ULTA keeps it fresh with their displays, theres always something new when I go there. The staff is friendly, the store is keeping up with social distancing guidelines, and the clearance section is always packed. 😍 My only complaint? The eyeshadow palette section is often a hot mess. Palettes are mixed up, many testers are missing so customers open sealed product instead (thus creating a small risk for spreading the virus), and the testers that are there are often beat up, powder going everywhere. Ive noticed that testers for some palettes will be on the shelves for weeks, but the palette will never come back in stock. Then there are some palettes that have no tester. It makes picking one out difficult. Some have little pictures of the palette on shelf display, but its too small to see clearly. Good luck trying to Google what the palette looks like, because the building blocks all signal.

In reading the reviews, I was surprised at how glowing they were. I visited for the first time yesterday. I found the store disorganized and messy. I wanted Kiels skincare. They had one, very tiny shelf with very few products. The woman who helped me was informative but also had mean, sarcastic comments as well.i bought a few products but probably will not return.

Seriously the worst customer service went here 5 different times never once got any help trying to find products definitely will not go here and if your black yea good luck to you here

This Ulta location is favorite after my last visit. Monica was super sweet and lead us around the store helping my friend and I try new products and letting us know her opinion of her favorites. In no way was she pushy on buying particular products. We both bought a handful of items she suggested and I have to say they were all on point. I LOVE the products she directed us to buy. If you go to this store, look for Monica!

I went in today to purchase a new pair if hair shears and to purchase some other things. The associates were get. They told me that if I dont like the shears I could return them. I did just that. However I used my tip card from work to purchase everything and now Im fighting to get the money back on my card with out paying fees and now I have to wait for however long til I get my money back. Could of just saved from screwing people over and pay them back their refund in cash. 😡

Friendly helpful customer service representatives, was greeted at the door as I entered the store. Be prepared to spend a lot of money as the products are extremely expensive. If you really need great deals I would encourage you to visit the store look at the product that you are interested do not buy the items in store SHOP ON LINE!!! .this way you receive better coupons and free gifts.

The girls are always good here. They go out of their way to help with makeup, etc. Im 73 and they help me all the time. You can find just about anything you need in all price ranges.

I feel really welcome here. I got good information and service at Ulta Beauty. I had a lot of questions and they answered them fully. The staff was professional to me even though Im a transgender woman. I will go back again and youre more makeup and stuff at Ulta. The staff on the most part is professional but some are not to be perfectly honest. There needs to be a little more education with the staff to be honest.

I only wish they had more help or different system when trying get assistance from staff. They could use more people on the floor. The person who helped me was very knowledgeable and was able to find the perfect shade.

I love the point system at Ulta. I buy all the normal beauty/skin/body care stuff here. The prices are comparable to Walmart for the drugstore side. Saves me a stop and I dont have to deal with the crowd. Customer service has always been good with any returns or damaged goods. Online and in store specials keep me coming back.

Recently I have struggled with a bit of cystic acne on one side of my face due to stress and it was bad! I walked in Ulta without a real purpose but to look for something that could clear dark spots. I was greeted by two people when I walked in. I explained exactly what I needed, and was instantly directed to the Clinique products and to Sasha aka the witch doctor. Sasha was pleasant and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE! I cant say it any louder. She looked at my face asked me questions about my habits and then went to work. And let me tell you, she worked. She explained what each product did, how it would benefit ME, the cost difference, how to use it and how often. She is an amazing skincare rep who knows her stuff. I was recommended a 7 day treatment and it is now day 5 and my skin has cleared up substantially. She even told me that some people look at her with skepticism when she explains that she has had severe acne; taking out a picture of herself from last year where she indeed suffered the same battle I am currently fighting. Ulta, you have a good one on your hands dont ever let her go or let her leave! Sasha I will be back boo!!

My wife and daughter go to this all to all the time for their beauty supplies in their hair. The four stars are just because of the prices and also seem to be a little bit higher for the quality of products you sometimes get. Also there were a couple of incidents where there were issues with him a haircuts and nails that were done and didnt seem to be up to par with what we expected for the prices you pay. Which also goes to say that the prices for hair and nail salon seem to be a lot higher for the lack of quality that you get one compared to Ace highly specialized hair salon that charges similar prices. When we had issues we did bring it up to the manager and for the most part they seem to correct them however still doesnt answer to the fact that their prices are very high for the services that they are offering at the Quality that they offer them at hat.

This is the second time Ive been to this store. I only visited the second time because I was with girlfriends on a girls day shopping outing. The first time I wanted help to purchase some products and waited patiently for someone to help. I stood there waiting for someone who was helping someone else. When she was done she walked away without saying a word and I never could did her. There were several other employees talking and when I asked them for help they were looking for the other girl to no avail. I was in the store for an hour and a half and no one did ever help. Thoroughly disgusted. I went the second time yesterday with my friends and had the same experience with different employees. They are rude and the lack of customer service is terrible. They get one star because they do have a lot of products but if u need help with the products go somewhere else.

I have very sensitive skin so I end up buying the higher end products. The associates on the floor are very helpful and even recommended a new product. When I got up to the front end to check out, the cashier was not pleasant at all and I had to tell her I got a free product because I spent more then $50 on a certain product. Needless to say, she needs training in customer service. I usually shop at the west shore location and am considering going back.

This location had been extremely busy every time I go in there, however their cashiers are well trained and move the line rather quickly with out sparing customer service. Nice big store with lots of stuff to choose from.

The employees use the products on the shelf for personal use and then put them back. I called to complain and the customer service rep sent me a coupon but didnt want to address the issue. This is a complete rip off, paying $25 for a product that is 1/2 used!!

This store is generally a nice place. I would not recommend bringing a child due to the lack of seats in their carts. On the higher range of prices however you get what you pay for in this case as the products are of good quality. Runs sales at a decent pace. Sometimes the store is a little dirty but cosmetics often are. The staff is always friendly though may occasionally come off as distant. The store is a little hard to see as it is located in the far back of the shopping plaza. The lights inside are rather glaring since the walls and floor are also white so be careful if you are light sensitive.

The workers are always so helpful! I needed help finding the right shade of foundation and she told me step by step on the right shade. The cashier also helped me with some coupons and their rewards program.

Im going to say... the one girl was magnificent in helping me.I got a lipstick from urban decay at first it was out of stock,until I finally found a sales person who wasnt in a circle talking. The girl found the lipstick, and lip gloss, I was looking for, back stock. They do carry most brands,but no kat van D. But you cant have everything.

I am very very new to beauty makeup and such. I went in here looking for primer (its been sold out forever) and some new eyeshadow palettes. I love the fact you can try stuff before hand. But I definitely would rather have the help of someone than kinda wing it by myself. I have very oily skin and was hoping to get recommendations to what I could use. No one was around to help since it appeared to be only 1 cashier at register. There may have been more ppl in the back of the store. I didnt venture far.

I called and asked to schedule an appointment. I was told sure and was asked to wait for a minute. I was left on hold for over 8 minutes. When a second employee picked up they had no idea what I was waiting for (apparently first girl completely forgot about me). If youre too busy to schedule an appointment thats fine, but tell me instead of leaving me on hold. I was on the phone 15 minutes resulting in no appointment. On a happier note I was able to score an appointment elsewhere and everyone is saying the place Im going to is very good🙂

All my ladies with textured hair, who are lazy like me when it comes to washing and detangling, you need to go to Cheyenne at the Salon. She was attentive to my hair and made sure it was completely saturated and moisturized, patiently detangled all my curls, got in my roots( I have thick 4c/kinky hair), gave me a lovely head massage and great conversation. My hair has never been so soft and defined. I told her I was probably going to twist my hair but I didnt even because it looks and feels so good. She does a VARIETY of services including but not limited to: deep conditioning (what i got, $25), scalp treatments, blowouts, silk presses, twist outs, you name it. I am so happy with my hair and will be booking with her from now.

Shopping here made me really uncomfortable. I had a genuine question about a product and no one was around to ask. I searched through the shelves for ages trying to find what I was looking for; clearly needing help. It felt like I was actively being avoided. For a male in a store primarily catering to females this made me feel unwelcome. Its possible they were avoiding everyone but it sure didnt feel that way.

Went in a couple days before Christmas... the store was pretty business but the sale lady Nia seem to have time for the customers. Very knowledgeable and very sweet young girl. A very bubbling attitude. Some of the other sales lady need to learn something from her. I also went after Christmas and I didnt get that feeling from another sale person. Otherwise store was very clean.

I really, truly wanted to like this place buuuut unfortunately the customer service wouldnt allow me to. First of all, I wondered the store aimlessly attempting to find someone, anyone to wait on me. I was totally ignored like I was invisible or something. Finally, I walked up to a group of employees that were talking to each other and asked if someone could recommend a foundation that provides maximum coverage. After they looked at each other for several seconds, one of them told me that the person who could help me, was off that day. Really???? I am a person of color, so am I to assume there is only ONE employee who is trained to service people of color??? I hope this type of non-customer service is exclusive to the Jonestown Road store and not the tone of Ulta company wide.

Wide variety, lots of choices. I have been to West Shore Ulta and IMHO one on East Shore on Jonestown Road had alot more choices and variety. I think they carry more trendy, newer stuff bcoz of more younger crowd. I saw more latest trends in colors for something as basic as matte lip colors, eye shadows. I didnt interact with the staff on West Shore so cannot comment but the one on East Shore (Jonestown Road) seemed to know the products in depth and suggested alternatives. I buy only cruelty free, no animal testing products and it was interesting to see these girls well informed. Note: This place is very busy. If you really want to get advice of associates best would be to go on weekdays late evenings. Avoid weekends.

Staff was excellent in helping me find the right color/type of make up.

Do not go here for waxing! They ripped off my wife’s skin on both cheeks!!! They have inexperienced beauticians who will damage your skin further. Once they realized they messed up all they told her was to just apply neosporin on the abrasions and to come back if it got worse. They did not charge her for the damage or service as they call it, but she is experiencing stinging and burning and you can see the flesh of her skin. To make matters worse we have a function to attend tomorrow. She has already gone through half a tube of neosporin and still no relief. This is outrageous that a beauty store giant like Ulta could do something like this and it’s definitely unacceptable as we are loyal patrons of this specific store. BEWARE!
