We had a great experience purchasing our new bed at Mattress Warehouse in Harrisonburg, VA. The sales woman’s name is Lorrie and she was very helpful! We had no idea which mattress would be right for us, but Lorrie knew how to figure it out. We’d been looking for a new bed for over a year and we bought ours at Mattress Warehouse because of the expert advice of the saleswoman Lorrie.She got us a great deal! The delivery and set up was fantastic! The delivery people kept great communication with us and were fast and friendly.

Absolutely fantastic customer service. I had the wrong size ordered and delivered. After explaining that I refused the setup and had them leave it warehouse wrapping they were able to work out a swap for the right size. Thank you very much and look forward to all the great nights sleep we get on our new mattresses.

Best part of that is it made recommendations varying from high end brands down to basic inexpensive options, which tells me the technology is legitimate, not an upselling tool.

I went into this store not knowing what I wanted and not knowing where to start with looking for a bed. I not only left feeling confident in my purchase, but much more knowledgeable in what I was buying. We went in to buy a bed frame and ended up mattress shopping while we were there. Lorrie helped us tremendously with both purchases. She was extremely knowledgeable about which frames would hold up for my stepson and extremely knowledgeable (and honest) about the mattresses as well. When she didnt know something off the top of her head, she would look up whatever information she could get but did not have a problem telling us to call back and talk to the store manager the next day so that we got everything we needed taken care of. When we called and talked to Scott about additional issues, he was also extremely helpful and got everything taken care of for us quickly and was able to get our mattress delivered 3 days sooner (only 2 days after we purchased it). In addition to a very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff, our mattress was delivered on time (as I said before, actually 3 days sooner than what we originally thought), and was brought in & set up quickly and our old mattress removed as well (all within maybe 15 minutes). The phone calls telling us the delivery window, and the 10 minute notice saying that the truck was on the way were also on time and were very helpful in us planning our day and with us being ready when the truck got there...this helped make for a quick, simple, pleasant delivery experience. Overall, the whole experience, from shopping to delivery, was made as enjoyable and as pain-free as possible. I will definitely be a return customer when we need something else and would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the market for a new bed. I had a very good experience with this store. I hate shopping for beds its always a nightmare. Well this time I had my self all set up for a disaster. We came into town with an old bed.. We have new temper beds back in Michigan,some how I thought I was gonna buy a basic bed to replace my temper that I didnt bring, OMG! Why? Anyways I was near meltdown (no I did meltdown) because of lack of sleep and health issues.. LORI WAS A VOICE OF REASON, and not pushy at all.. She was helpful and informative. She allowed us to exchange are first purchase and got us into a bed that I/we needed for are health issues and age. The bed is still new to us and We are still adjusting a bit, but we are sleeping! I appreciate how much she did, and she did it in record time, Got my bed fast!

I was very disappointed with the managers (Lori) sales technique of bad mouthing the competition. We were very interested in purchasing a particular king bed here. I found an incorrect price posted on this bed. Posted price was $1029.00 which I pointed out and they determined the correct price was $1499. Big difference! Lori turned us over to Roman to give us the best deal. He did not take a pennie off the list price and offered us 2 pillows. Roman did not make a sale with us and we went back to Mattress Firm to make our purchase!

Not sure if they found Lorrie outside of the old bar that used to be next door or what, but she is terrible. Lady was so focused on slandering her competition that she didn’t even try to sell us a bed! When we went to leave, she got aggressive and made us extremely uncomfortable. We ended up going back to the other mattress store and bought from them because they were way easier to deal with.

Not a good experience. Tried to charge extra for the advertised free removal of the old mattress (a Tempur-Pedic damaged when a water line broke in the room above. We made this very clear). When the new mattress was delivered, the delivery company employees said there was nothing on the order requiring pickup of the old mattress and they didnt remove water damaged mattresses. Company policy. Turns out they dont work for Mattress Warehouse, they just wear the logo. So we still have the old mattress, they hauled the new one back and we are waiting on a refund.

Lorrie at this location was excellent to work with. She did everything to make sure that we got the mattress we wanted and at the price we wanted.
