The customer service is abysmal and selection is poor would not recommend as the employees flat out offended me. Better options out there PLEASE STAY AWAY!

Great selection of wine and premium craft beer.

Went here to buy couple of bottles of Opus and Bubbles. We walked in the wine shop with our full face motorcycle helmets on. Mask mandades were already lifted for two weeks. The lady inside told us that they still required us to wear mask. We informed her that we were fully vaccinated since January and it didnt matter to the clerk.Its awesome that small business still have some degrees of control over how to run their business. But, we didnt want to deal with removing our riding gear and wear their masks. It was raining outside and very inconvenient to do so.We left and didnt buy anything there. We headed to Costco next door and spend our money on their wines. Costco didnt want us to put masks on. However, Costcos wine selections didnt compare.I am grateful that we got to choose where to spend our money as well.Two star for wine selection. One star for offering masks. We dont know about their prices or other services.

Bruces wine shop is the best. He always has good variety and a nice selection of snacks to go with this stock. Always a great place to go to get recommendations too. Whether you want wine, sparkling, beer, sake or just good wine cheese.Plus, its nice to support local businesses and hes a local whos been there a long time.

Just got off the phone with Bruce the owner. Excellent customer service and helped me congratulate some friends on there new baby by delivering something that sparkles. I look forward to day I can visit Vintage Wines in person and crack a few bottles myself!

Wow!What a great experience...Looked around for a nice bottle to be delivered to family members through the usual big name online companies, but to no avail.Then, we found Vintage Wines in Harrisonburg! Bruce (owner) was not only patient with my questions, super friendly, and overly knowledgeable, he has over 3,000 wine labels at his fingertips. We found 2 great choices and his crew was to deliver them with no charge. I couldnt be happier to have helped a local merchant!

Great service, wide selection. Pricing can be steep but not bad considering there are a lot of imports. I also found some wines at the same price point as a food lion/Kroger but I obviously had a much better experience here. I spent a good thirty minutes in there, half of it was just having conversation with who I believe was the owner of the store. He was super knowledgeable but not snooty at all. Great shop.Edit: though I dont necessarily recommend going within the first hour of their opening times because they do seem to run late (I often work from 11:30-7:30 and want to get wine but the store wont open in time despite having hours 11-6)

I was really pleased with their selection. They had my favorite champagne and I havent been able to find it in any other wine places. While I dont always drink champagne, but when I do Ill go to Vintage Wines.

I go here every week for the old world beers. The owner is very hospitable. He is informative enough go guide you through his selections. Ive been asked several times if I would like to have my items held at the counter so I didnt have to carry them around while I peruse. Ive been here a dozen times and will continue to whilst I am in this area. Thanks for what you do.

Great customer service and they make shopping easy. They know my parents preferences, so all I have to do is give them a price range and then Im out the door in 5 minutes with the perfect gift!

My husband and I happened on this place unexpectedly and had a wonderful experience. We wanted a bottle of VA wine and weren’t disappointed in the selection. There were wines from around the world, a wide variety of cheeses and crackers and some delicious sugar cookies made by a local pastry chef. The owner was helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to attending one of their events.

Very friendly staff. Though a small store, they have a wide variety of wines. The wines they choose to carry are fantastic. I have not tasted a wine from here yet that I have not loved. Also they have very interesting beer selections as well a nice variety of sake. And of course they have the obligatory food sundries for your cheese platter pleasure. They have wine for everyone and for every occasion, be ye poor or be ye wealthy. Definitely stop by and pick up a bottle. You cant go wrong with this wonderful shop.

Great wine shop in Harrisonburg! The shop itself is on the small side, but there is a great selection from all over the world! The owner was very kind and did a great job of explaining the different options of what I was looking for and answered all the questions I had. Not only that, but you can tell he has a passion for wine and knows what he is talking about. He was also very respectful of my price point that I was trying to stay in for this specific event I was buying for. In addition to helping me find what I needed, based on our conversation, was able to show me other wines I may be interested in for future purchases, which I really appreciated. Check this place out if you get a chance!

Small, but impressive selection of domestic and imported craft beer.

Bruce is a knowledgeable and kind-spirited wine seller. He even remembers the distinct nature of my whole familys palate such that I can just drop in and ask for a Chardonnay for my grandmother or something special for my momma and he will have just the thing. I like to buy by the case and take a variety of treats back up with me to Northern Virginia. Do yourself a favor and stop in for one of his free tastings.
