A great place to have some middle-eastern food. A very reasonable price and delicious food. Highly recommended. Worth every single penny.
This place is amazing. I love the Shawarma and will certainly be back! The people were kind and generous to my family and I.
My family loves their five person tray. We ordered it and it is a treat. They gave so much on the plate that we can have it on the lunch next day and we love eating the leftover on the next day because it is so yummy. People are very kind there as well.
We stopped here yesterday on our way back from a weekend at JMU and this was the perfect place to go. I ordered the Beef shawarma with samoonv Iraqi It was good I highly recommended, You have got to try this.
This place is fantastic. excellent selection of goodies and some really yummy snacks imported from Turkey. But the star of the show is the restaurant in the back. Ive tried: Beef kebab, chicken kebab, chicken and beef schwarma. everything is fantastic. The bread is incredible too. you cannot go wrong. Theres a new owner and hes really great. Supper friendly and excited to full your stomach with exceptional chow. youll love it
I cannot get over how amazing the food is. This was our first time eating here and will now be regular customers. Keep up the amazing work. The staff is so kind and give the best suggestions.
Stopped with my husband while traveling, got chicken shawarma, samoon and Iraqi spices! The owners were very nice and proficient. Not overly priced and shawarma was really good
Its so good 👍 the food there is always good
Ordinary seating but food was good. Generous amount of food.
Stopped in while on a road trip visiting family in the north. Absolutely amazing schwarma! Sadly it is way to far from my home. I will be stopping by on my way back south!
The place is just awesome for non-veg lovers. If you are from india and want some indian taste in kababs and shawarma just visit here. There Kurdish store is just amazing. Love this place.
Im a trucker from Toronto and Im glad that these guys are here in this city the food is so good and the staff is so kind and humble they made fresh food infront of me I also found my childhood chocolates there( love them ) and on top of everything I waited there for more then half hour for my cab but it didnt showed up and one of the owner dropped me to the truck stop I offered him money but he refused to take Im so much thankful to him and the whole staff guys you stole my heart 💓. God bless you guys stay healthy and stay blessed.
Outstanding! Ive traveled to many places around the Mediterranean: Spain, France, Greece, Turkey, Israel & Morocco. Ive had great food in all those countries, but Ive never had a shwarma in fresh-baked-at-the-store pita like I had at the Babylon.Upon the recommendation of the delightful young woman at the counter I ordered the chicken and then had her load it with the garlic sauce (excellent!), tzatziki, onions, sour cabbage spiced w/ ground coriander (I think?), & roasted eggplant. There are many other toppings to choose from: baba ganoush, hummus, cucumbers, black olives, tomatoes, lettuce, etc. Also upon her recommendation, she then added a reddish-colored spicy sauce (which wasnt but it was very savory nonetheless) and a more traditional Middle Eastern sauce which was yellowish in color (I didnt catch the name). The pita was approx 6x9 and I only intended to eat half...but it was so delicious, I ate the whole thing and felt absolutely stuffed for the next 3 hours.I also got a pint of the excellent baba ganoush to go and enjoyed that for dinner later that night. A drink (bottled water or sodas) is included in the meal and the whole thing was very reasonably priced; in fact, they could add $1-$2 and it would still be a deal--the food is that good. Will definitely be coming back as often as I can.
Arguably the best kebabs around, plus they sell fresh bread baked daily. Super welcoming and hospitable folks, too! I go there for teas but know folks who use the halal butcher as well.
Easily the best kabobs and shawarma in town. My family of 4 gets a huge platter with rice and THE BEST Nan around and have enough food for 2 dinners and a couple of lunches for around $45. Local, fresh, cooked to order and a great value.
People are very very kind, love the bread, super generous with portions and cheap prices. Overall highly recommend and also the baklava is delicious 🤤
Bad customer service i already give them a call for order they just do shawarma the other one is bread and the guy he refused to give me because he said the is for restaurant with loud voice . never back againUpdate after owner commentIts wasnt sold out i saw a punch of it in the big baskets and i already order it through the call and trust me if the guy h used a gentle way to explain to me i ll not be mad he was so aggressive when talking to me
Delicious foodReasonable pricesAnd great customer serviceHighly recommended
The falafel sandwiches are very delicious. I go there a lot.
I do really appreciate the kindness and generosity of the employees especially Abdulazez. His good guy and friendly.
This place is built different, the falafel from here is awesome but makes my bathroom look like my profile picture. I cant remember if yall have a bathroom, Ill be here in a few days again after Thanksgiving and update if there is a bathroom
Fast, delicious, and very friendly.
I’ve gone out of my way to eat this place several times cause I like schwarma a lot. Their food is pretty good all in all but make sure to ask for sauce — they don’t always give it to you unless you ask. Otherwise your meal will be dry.
Tasty & filling kabobs .
The best food ever
Not a good gyro. Not fresh. Meat not marinated, just over grilled. Definitely wont return.
Wow really good
The new owner he doesn’t know how deal with the Customer
Great Halal store
I got the mixed Shawerma platter and hubby got a mixed kebab platter that came with rice, falafel and salad. Both of these orders were bland and dry. There was no sauce and the order came with no forks or spoons which we didnt notice until we left. As an Arab, I think this food is nothing like what real Arab food tastes like, at least not the Shawarma or kebab
Excellent middle eastern food 👌and Friendly staff
Food is excellent. I will definitely be returning
Bad food the meat wasn’t cooked properly, not recommended!
The best middle eastern food and restaurants in the US try the Falafel with FRESH NAN
Didnt like the food
Absolutely one of the best restaurants around.Kind and friendly staff. I drive all the way from Charlottesville to get what I need.
Very nice food. Stopped yesterday on our way back from Florida and got the platter for four people. Loved the Naan, salad and barbecue. Definitely will visit again.
This is a little halal store and deli. Theyve made a lot of updates to make the ordering process easier. People who are giving this place bad reviews need to calm down and enjoy this little gem for what it is. The people are very nice, the falafel sandwich is great, and the bread is fantastic.
Kind people, good food, great prices
My favorite place to get falafel, best flat breads in town also. Hummus very good. They have a pretty good grocery for a quick stop also.
Good food, good people
So delicious I forgot to take pictures! I had been meaning to stop in for months now. I had the Beef Shawarma wuich was excellent. The portions were quite generous, I should have saved half for brunch the next day.
I used to like it A LOT but recently Ive been disappointed. I do not like beef or beef fat used in my food so I always ask for chicken. This time the pieces of beef fat were mixed in with the chicken. The whole thing tasted like beef fat :( I couldnt finish. Also I dont know why they dont cut the bread (samoon) a bit so that all the stuff doesnt fall out. I dont put ask them to add in too much stuff. If they cut the bread a bit more, everything would fit in nicely.
The meat in the shawarma was fried probably two days ago((( They just warmed it((very dry, we hardly could chew it((we threw half of the food away(((((
Food is good but customer service does not exist. On multiple occasions they take the order then without letting the customer know they dont follow through. Excuses are different each time. Menu price is often different from what is charged.
I like their freshly made food including, but not limited to, Grills, Gyros, Bread and Salads, nice affordable grocery store as well, good prices and best deals on fresh food and combos, and the most important is the taste which is the best on Mediterranean Fresh Food in town, I recommend this restaurant for dining in or takeout or catering especially for groups and guests...
My favorite store in the town
Love coming here. The food is great and pretty cheap. Everyone working is always super friendly.
Delicious take out food and a convenient little grocery store. So glad to have this place within walking distance!
Great find! Authentic Mediterranean food. Tried several dishes. Had the chicken kabob, quzi (lamb) and chicken tikka. There were 10 large tasty chicken kabobs - enough for 2-3 easily, huge leg of lamb (with rice) and chicken tikka (6 huge tasty chicken pieces with rice). Everything was so fresh and tasty. Came with delicious bread and fresh salads. Took about 25 minutes which let me know the chicken dishes were cooked to order. So glad someone at the resort 12 miles away recommend this place. They were right!Food is fanatistic! The price is great considering the quality and the quantity of the food. Wont disappoint!
The food is good, but the people who are working in the kitchen are not welling to help customers, theyre questioning a lot and try to make fun, and they arent doing their job professionally. Weve tried to add things to our order, but they felt boring and they were not helping us professionally. They are not professional
Very good food especially the shawarma, falafel, Kabob, bread ... etc,and affordable prices for us as students I like and recommended all my classmates and they have halal grocery store amazing ❤️
I don’t know what you’d call this place, but the “restaurant” portion is fantastic. I’ll need to come back and check out more of their menu, but the falafels, kebab, and garlic naan I ordered was as good as any other place I’ve been to.The rest of the store was definitely interesting, it reminded me of Istanbul Airport. Wish there was someone there who would point out what all the stuff is, I love trying new food but don’t want to just buy stuff willy nilly.
I love the baclava!!! I want to take my students here and have them experience the richness of the middle eastern dishes and culture!!!
Great food, talented cooks, food really hit the spot. We had a large combo the whole family enjoyed.
Nice food. I went to meat area and it was stinking but their cooking was really good .i can advice them to cleam the meat part area.
Great food, very nice family restaurant. Prices are very good . I had beef shawarma and falafel. Next time I will try there beef kabob . I recommend this place
Great food
Food is good but management is terrible like some are work there are and listen to costumer and other workers dont listen what customer problem is new workers are bad old worker were good
Ive been here so many times and Ive really enjoyed it. Definitely would recommend coming here for their food!
The service great and the sandwich was really good!
You can find all the delicious food you can think of.
Good food and good service. There is a wait sometimes but the wait is worth the food.
Thank you for great lunch!love the bread!
The best Falafel Sandwich anywhere in town, the rest of their food is great as well.
I tried chicken shawarma after reading some wonderful reviews.OMG its the worst i ever ate. Will never try again at Babylon.
Where do I start, the music was too loud that the guy working there could barely hear me, the ordering system is stupid, no point to walking back and forth to order food and no menu by the cashier, he made me walk back and look at the menu to find him the number for what I wanted. The store was filthy, dust on the shelves, everything in the freezer had freezer burn, the cook didnt have any idea which sauce was which just told me they all look the same idk. Now the bad part, the meat was dry and bland, no actual flavor except for grease, the fries were too oily, and the hummus was bad, even smelled foul. The bread was ice cold and had hard edges. We basically threw it away a waste of 25 bucks and didnt even have decent portions. Only thing palatable was the salad. Will not go here again. Dear Babylon, shame on you.
I just Eight Kabob it relly good and it the best store to eat there
Good halal
Great food, esp the authentic shawarma, and Falafil. I say thank you!

Excellent food and fresh bread.
Really good beef shawarma.
Very bad service. When you go there you wait and wait, no one acknowledgeds you. If you dont try to get your voice heard and demand an order in no one offers any help.
Worst customer service EVER. Very rude!!
Good Food and good people
The food is delicious and inexpensive
