Unbelievable! I walked in to Coin and Gift and was immediately greeted. Not a generic greeting, but a genuine, look-you-in-the-eye, “Hello!” They gently told my dad his watch was a solar powered, and it didn’t need a battery; just set it in the sun and enjoy. They were so nice.I am going back this week to have my old coins evaluated.Thank you Coin and Gift!

The whole staff is professional. Josh is the guy I deal with. Friendly, knowledgeable, and they do offer the same or better than any other shop when I have compared. Have visited coin shops (and coins in pawn shops) since the mid 70s and this is as good as they come.

In my profession, I do a lot of assessments- whether it’s systems, programs or people. I can say with absolute confidence that this shop is extraordinary. While maintaining professionalism everyone that I encountered was incredibly personable. Sam is incredibly knowledgeable about the products, George takes his time with you offering superior customer service, and Pam was an absolute pleasure to work with. I have been both a buyer and seller at this shop, and each experience was top notch. I never felt rushed or pushed to making a purchase. And for you parents out there, each staff member treated my children (3 young girls) like members of the family. We stopped in here on Saturday and instantly greeted. Asked what were looking for, and showed up a few coins we may be interested in. He even showed and let us play the 1930s slot machine on the counter. Lots of nice old coins with newer silver too. This was worth the drive up from Roanoke!

This Coin shop is the nicest one I have ever seen. You are greeted by nice people behind the counter. Very clean and extremely neat store. Behind the counter, in full view is where they do testing and sorting of Coins. Josh, the owner had quoted a price on the phone, when I got there I had other coins that were not like the ones hes quoted. He still gave me the higher amount!They have some very nice coins and jewelry in their shop. Even though I was a seller today, I intend to make future purchases with Josh. He can ship the product to me and I get to support a small business. Coin & Gift in Harrisonburg is a superstar among small businesses. I was extremely impressed by the Staff, the Store and the entire experience. Well done!!!

I walked in to this place yesterday for the first time. I had no clue if what I had was even worth looking at. The gentleman who helped me was great. Very helpful, friendly, patient. Answered all my random questions, taught me a little about what to look for. I came out with $200.00 for about $35 worth of cash I was about to deposit in my checking account as $35! I was thrilled! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get rid of old coins and make some fast cash! Thanks guys!

I bought a Beautiful engagment ring here. In needed size and the gentleman that was working there redid the whole shank for me so that the ring was more stable. All the staff was friendly and so helpful. Thank you for my dream ring possible!

Have visited this shop many, many times. Its always a great, fun time when Im in there. Mr. and Mrs. Messerley are always professional and extremely knowledgeable. Even when Im just browsing and dont purchase, Mr. Messerley is always willing and keen to share some of his personal collections of mutual interest. As a collector myself, I REALLY appreciate this. Sam, a sales/customer service specialist is always a BLAST to come into contact with! I highly recommend a visit to their shop, they offer a little bit of everything for everybody and budget.

Nice people, I prefer rockys gold and silver which is only a short distance from harrisonburg, in Verona. rocky will give better prices on your valuables and has been in this business forever. they also have a better selection by far of coins, jewelry, and antiques. rocky is also far more knowledgeable in this aspect. but overall this place can be convenient but I will always let rocky handle my things as I know Ill be getting the most for my thing .

Josh was very arrogant. Stated that my coins qere not what I had looked up online. Only Mint coins were Error coins. Gave me $2.00 whole dollars for a 1937 Buffalo Nickel and had one year different in shop for $25.00 and no better condition.From what I experienced this place is No Better than Rockys. Both Pay You Nothing and resale for alot.
