I had a nail stuck in my tire, which was causing a slow leak. I brought my car in for a tire repair. When they brought my car into the service area, they realized that the rims on my car have an anti-theft key and the key wasnt in the car. I just purchased my car last month, which means that the dealership didnt provide me with the key. Which of course placed me in a jam. I had to call the dealership and go back and fourth with them to find a solution to the problem. This process took over an hour and was frustrating. I just wanted to write this review to emphasize how kind, compassionate, and understanding Nicholas Arnesen and the other employee (I didnt get his name) were to me. While on the phone with the dealership outside, the second employee came outside and brought me an ice cold water, because he seen I was having a rough morning. Nicholas even spoke to the dealership at one point and helped figure things out. The solution to the problem was for me to drive 2 miles up the street to the nearest dealership. Nicholas put air in my tire so I would make it to the safely to the dealership. Ultimately due to the circumstances I had to go to the dealership and have them complete the repair. Again, I thank you to Nicolas and the second employee your kindness and patience was appreciated. If I lived in Hartford I would only come to these guys for service!

My wife and I were traveling home, southbound on interstate 91 in Hartford, Connecticut, when all of a sudden, my 1999 Chevy Tahoe started making a loud banging noise. I thought the engine possibly spun a bearing and a rod was knocking. I was able limp the Tahoe off of the highway to the nearest exit ramp, and at the end of the exit ramp, there was the Hartford Goodyear Tire Center. I met the Service Manager Dean Boucher, and told him my situation. He was extremely professional and courteous to me and my wife because he could tell we were shaken up by what we just experienced. He was proactive, and told me he would bring it into the shop that night, and look at my vehicle first thing in the morning. He made us feel comfortable while we were at his store, and kindly offered us water in which we graciously accepted. Fortunately for me and my wife, one of my sons was traveling southbound home as well. He was about a half hour behind us, but he was still able to pick us up, and bring us back to Long Island where we live. Dean Boucher called me up first thing the next morning and told me my that vehicles’ drive draft shaft yoke broke, including the U-joint. I asked him if it was repairable, and he said yes. I gave him the OK to fix it. He had the part shipped to him, and his team repaired the vehicle quickly and professionally. He called me a few days later, and told me it was all fixed, and ready for pick up. My wife and I made arrangements with Dean to let him know when we were able to make the trip up. We drove up to Harford, Connecticut and met up with Dean Boucher again. He explained everything to me, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with way he handled our situation. What a FANTASTIC job he and his crew did to fix my 1999 Chevy Tahoe. I had to drive another 2 1/2 hours home, and was concerned that nothing else would happen to me on my back home. To my delight, I couldn’t believe how well the vehicle drove and performed. It was such a smooth and quiet ride home. The Goodyear team in Hartford, Connecticut did an outstanding job, and I HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone that needs work performed on their vehicle. Thank you Dean, my wife and I are indebted to you for taking care of us at an extremely exasperating situation. Great job!!

This store saved my day in Hartford. Going to an event at XL center, my power steering hose got a hole in it in the parking lot. Rich came over to the lot with me, diagnosed it and drove it back to his shop. The repaired it while I went to the event and the job was completed in under 2 hours and for a reasonable price. Highly recommend them for service and repair.

I caught a nail in my tire from a construction site the other day on my way to work. Luckily it was right in the middle of the tread and repairable. Went to firestone first but they said they can’t repair it because my tire has a sound insulation inside. Because it’s a Goodyear tire, decided to call this location and they said they can repair it, no problem.Not only did they repair it, they did it free of charge! I was in and out in 30 mins. Amazing service here!

We had a flat tire. When we called the store, Mr Hilton was very coordial on call to receive my request and asked to bring the car to store. Upon getting to the store, service provided was professional. He worked with store staff (or probably himself) and got the tire fixed. It was a nice experience as a customer.

I work in Hartford so not only is this Goodyear convenient they also have excellent service. Would highly recommend to anybody who needs their vehicle worked on by an honest and knowledgeable staff.

I needed a jump today and they sent someone out to do it immediately. Extremely grateful. I recently had a front alignment done in New Britain, although the staff was courteous It took several hours out of my day. I will keep this day in mind next time I need service.

I could not love this place more ever since it saved me when I was in a tight situation.On 7/31, I found that not one but two of my tires had nails in them.It late in the evening and most tire shops were closing. I called here frantically and this awesome guy by the name of Dean (...I HOPE I remembered his name correctly!) squeezed me in within 10 mins of my call at about 5:00PM. I hope that provided the date and time, youre able to track down the representative (in case I didnt remember the name correctly!) and give him the accolades that he deserves!He took care of me despite being the only one left to work on a Friday afternoon right before closing! Super kind and professional !Anyway, this is the first Google review that Ive ever submitted and the main point Im trying to drive is that the customer service I received that day was AWESOME and certainly did not go unnoticed much less unappreciated !!

I had a flat tire; and these guys welcomed me pretty nicely but after finding a small hole in my tire, they started asking to replace the tire instead of fixing it which was a pretty easy fix. they also found a small nail in the tire becuase of which they started giving me excuses that they cant fix it any longer. Had to argue with them to make my point and just get the tire fixed. The guy at the counter added extra tax on the bill, I had to confirm his computer calculations too, which was weird, but they fixed the tax too..... So be aware and avoid going to such a place.

Great service the store manager Dean is a great guy who makes sure your vehicle is in tip top shape in a timely manner.. I have been dealing with this shop for a while no complaints at all.

Got an oil change here once and every time after that the prices keep going up. Not to mention the amount of times if went in or called in and Im being told I cant get a standard oil change done. If not for the convenience of the shop to me I wouldnt have returned but, today was the last straw when I was told at 12 noon in a place that closes at 6pm that I cant have a standard oil change done, I will gladly go elsewhere.

I had gone to Auto Zone the night before to have the check engine light diagnosed and was told it was the fuel pump. I brought the reference sheet they gave me and passed it on to the technician while explaining the issue. I also asked if they could take a look at the belt system because I was worried it was in need of repair as well.They ran their own $50 diagnostic and found the issue was exactly what I told them it was; the fuel pump needed to be replaced. It took them several hours to do just this, so the car had to stay overnight and be fixed the next day.Now a month or so later I bring my car elsewhere to get the oil changed and am told the belt system is showing signs of wear and tear, even cracking in some places, and needs to be replaced very soon.Im very frustrated that I felt like I was ignored by the people at Goodyear, my family used to bring our cars in to this store all the time but now I dont feel comfortable having any maintenance done here again after this.

Rip off. They charge you 5 times more. I just paid $200 for a job that could have done in 50 bucks. Also, I had to wait 2.5 hours for the job. The is a 30 minutes job or an hour max. These people making you wait so they can charge you more the per hour rate.

The service of this place is very bad. The problems were never fixed at one go and had to keep taking my car back. The front shocks is still not resolved and i had to let it go. The answer I got was could not figure out what OS wrong after paying 1500 for shocks.
