I consider myself a kind person and treat everyone with respect. I know when I am spoken to with the opposite attitude. I happened to call for a special order in fabric and was treated with disdain on the phone by an employee there. I have bought several high ticket items there in the past including a sewing machine and plate for the machine. This time was very different. When I told the owner that I was spoken to in that way, instead of apologizing, referred me to another store and told me not to call again. Draw your own conclusions but obviously the man does not care to keep his customers. Buyer beware. They think they don t need you!!!ALSO I WENT TO MOOD ONLINE AND GOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FABRIC AT A CHEAPER PRICE. THANKS MOOD!!!!!!

Ive shopped here many times. Its a huge store. The staff is incredibly helpful. The fabrics are terrific and if they dont have what I want, they go out of their way to find it. The service guy really knows his stuff and when I buy a new machine, I wouldnt go anywhere else. They made Roman Shades for me and they came out great ! It wasnt cheap but another designer gave me a much higher price !I just saw a readers comment that wasnt so great. Ive been back many times and can honestly say the staff always goes above and beyond. Yes, form your own opinion but I think their GREAT.

I bring my 2 computerized sewing/embroidery machines and my serger here for service even though its a long drive, because Larry seems to always be able to fix whatever is wrong, unlike the dealer/service which is much closer to home. The staff are always friendly. I dont have the impression 2 other reviewers had, that they are only nice to customers who are going to spend a lot of money (although I have found that to be the case in certain quilting shops). Obviously more customers are there on Saturdays, and its in a small space with the number of staff youd expect, so best to shop during the week if you dont like a crowd or havent got time to wait your turn. I think the quality of the fabrics is much better than Joann, Walmart, and other discount stores. I took one class there, on making roman shades--very good, and one on sewing a swimsuit--also good. One on free motion quilting (about 5 years ago), which was not that helpful as there was no guided practice.
