This is a great place for wine and spirits. Its also a perfect place to get a gift for someone. It is conveniently located in the Christmas Tree Shop shopping center and parking is free. I highly recommend the place because Ive gone there before. There are 2 places to eat there plus CVS. There is also the new restaurant called the Shake Shack. This is located at the beginning of White Plains on Central Avenue just North of Battle Hill. Put in on your list.

Just left Hartsdale Wine Shop and I was extremely disappointed with the service.  My daughter picked up a bottle of Titos Vodka near a sign that said Titos was $20.00.  When the cashier rang up the charge, it was $37.00.  My daughter inquired about the price discrepancy, and we realized she had picked up tne larger bottle which was not on sale.  I wanted to merely cancel the $37.00 charge and exchange for the smaller bottle. The cashier REFUSED to do the exchange.  She cited NY state law that alcohol cannot be returned and motioned toward a handwritten sign stating such. Mind you, I never took the $37.00 bottle off the counter!  I was not returning anything!  Unfortunately, I used my debit card and could not stop the charge. Upon researching the NY law, it states that a store can use their DISCRETION  when allowing a patron to return unopened alcohol.  In this instance, it wasnt a return, it was an error. Discretion was definitely called for, yet they opted to rip me off.  There are too many wine and liquor stores along Central Avenue to risk the chance of making an error  at Hartsdale Wine Shop and encountering such inflexibility resulting in unnecessary cost.  Pass them by.

I did have mixed reviews on this place. One time I went in and asked where I could find a particular wine, and the customer rep found it more important to finish texting on his phone before pointing towards the directions of the wine I wanted. First thing they teach you in customer service is to NEVER POINT TO THE PRODUCT. Always walk the customer to the product they are looking for.The last time I was there, the young gentleman was very helpful and I was treated like a true customer should be treated. So maybe theres some improvement on the horizon for this place.

Very friendly staff- which makes all the difference in this type of business... They will happily welcome your dog(s) who came in with you from the pet supply store next door to them. Good selection (given store size), with wines from a variety of countries at varied price points. A pleasant neighborhood wine shop.

Rude staff. Was the only customer in the place and when I asked about a product they completely ignored me. Youre better off heading to the other liquor store a minute or two down the way.

Less than a year old, this shop seems to be great for sales on spirits and wines.Definitely worth a look.

Though this place has a good selection they charge much more then every where else around. The staff is very rude and they have the worst customer service. I have even bought wine that was bad and they wouldnt return it. Stay away from here!

If you are using a card to purchase your items you need a card with a chip. No other card will work. They are on the expensive side.

I loved the old manager or owner, Spanish guy, but the new management are rude, the old lady is rude always talking bad about another customer is sad !- also they are selling they old products, or whatever they having in stock .
