I took my vehicle to Art because I herd he was honest. He sure is! I had a misfire and thought it would have been costly. But it was just a simple misplaced wire. Easy fix. I will continue to have my vehicles taken care of there!

I started going to Art at Front Street Auto repair when my family and I moved back to Illinois from Virginia. Art’s shop can’t be beat. I’ve been to many auto shops in my life and I would say Art’s is one of the best I have ever been to.The prices are fair, what is wrong with/what will be done with your car is explained to you, etc. They even had a pickup/delivery driver to drop off your car the last time I was there. I believe they still have this service.Let’s be real; there are a LOT of auto shops in Harvard, IL and McHenry County... but if you live in the area and need some work done, I would highly recommend this auto shop. I have never had a negative experience here and will continue to use this shop for all my auto needs.

The most HONEST auto repair in McHenry county.

ART was friendly but friendly doesnt matter when you scratch my new paint, dent my doors, break a switch on a new compressor he installed and not say anything, torches my shock off and doesnt put the new one in because its wasnt right. Next I brought there again so they can time it properly but instead they still didnt get it right left grease marks all over my white paint and my expensive rims . And still didnt fix the shock. So I took it to midas and bam they installed the oarts timed it correctly and not one hand print on my paint .

Ive had several problems with 4 vehicles the past few years, so thankful I found Front Street! 2 issues I had repaired a few times before, and they kept failing... but Art was aware of those issues and fixed it right the first time, and was more reasonably priced also! Honest, fair fees, always answers his phone, keeps a tight schedule, your car will be done when he says it will be done. Cant say enough about Art and Front Street Auto!!

Very friendly and understanding

Super helpful and friendly staff. Got me in and out on a Saturday real quick with some stripped lug nuts and a tire swap.

Dont trust this place! Go anywhere else! This guy, Art, turns off check engine light, then a couple days later when light comes on, he wants to charge you for more repairs. So many other places to go, save yourself the headache.
