Went in today to return a product that was not useful! I was 3 days past the 14 day return policy. JASON the supervisor said he wouldn’t return my item. I asked who is the manager and when will that person be there. He said he didn’t know! He walked off. Called the 800 to find the district manager not much help there either.

Love this Best Buy! I come here to this location specifically often. They have several Best Buys in the New Orleans area, but I come to this one because of the customer service that I received. This time I bought a new HP Pavilion gaming laptop! I absolutely love it! I had bought another HP laptop previously from this location, but I have the Adobe Cloud and was not able to use that laptop because of the graphics card. The associate that helped me was very helpful. He took his time to explain to me each laptop and what I needed in order to use the Adobe Cloud. The manager needs some training on how to talk to customers and need more associates to make service better I will not shop at best buy my card is cancel manager took merchandise back ask me to leave the store because I was complaining about the service 3 hours in the store. I had problems out of him last year behind the service he was given.

I brought my Apple computer in because I was unable to access my word documents. The young man informed me that I had missed so many updates I would need to purchase a new Apple starting at 1500. My husband and I left there and went to a computer place called Aprompt on Lafayette st who fixed the computer for a little over 100 dollars. The young men were do professional and honest. I have no confidence in geek squad because they clearly lied. Yuck!!!

Its a chain tech store and generally has things I want/need for the house. Right now they are the best for the small things for the electronics. Customer service is ok, depends of who you ask.

A minute agoNEWPositive: Professionalism, Quality, ResponsivenessI can in yesterday morning, about 10 minutes after open. My laptop bit the dust a few hours before, and as I need one for work and school, it needed to be replaced asap. I looked at a few brands that I was interested, and though I wasn’t quite ready for a sales person, a manager let me know that the sales associate was with someone and let me know that when I was ready, where I should que up to be next to talk. When I was ready, the sales person, Charles let me know he would be with me soon, as he was helping other customers. I don’t normally write reviews, but Charles was on point. He really took the time to ask me what I needed, even directed me towards some other brands (I had my heart set on a particular one already). When I told him that he talked me through what options I had, answered my questions, and even talked pros can cons with me between two models. I was about to opt for one that was more expensive, but didn’t have the battery life that I would need for the upcoming semester, mostly because I needed to have a computer quickly and I could walk out with that one that day. Charles took the time to find some better delivery options for me to make sure I could get the exact computer I wanted in a time frame I felt comfortable in. Truly five star service!
Great location. Great selection and love the price match guarantee. However, went there for a car stereo and found out all locations are getting rid of their automotive section. So they were out of stock of almost everything. Got a great deal on a JVC open box head unit though!

Best Buy has always been a great store. However, lately my experiences here has not been ideal. Low key makes me wish Radio Shack was still in business maybe they would have better customer service. The recent employees at this Best Buy location seem not to be interested in assisting customers. They seem to stand around and I guess hope that the customer vanishes or finds what they need on their own. Once you get to the register and ask for help they begrudgingly assist you as if you are an ACTUAL bother. The nerve. I had one instance where my friend went to purchase AirPods. The cashier was asked what are differences between the AirPods as he pulled out about 3. He stated, “nothing really, this one is newer” another family walked up and he waved one of the AirPod boxes and said, “hey are you still getting this one?” As they expressed no. He came back and said “so you getting 2 AirPods?” My friend stated no as she was puzzled. The worker then proceeded to make a joke that was not needed as his service was very unpleasant. After ringing up the AirPods he did not give her a bag for her item and she then had to ask for one. He proceeded to say “oh I got it.” Those were his last words. Instead of thanks have a great day. Anything to save that horrible service that he gave. Please, hire staff and TRAIN them to handle the public accordingly. After all it is their jobs.

Seems a little understaffed at times but overall its always a pleasurable experience. The young lady at customer service was a great help and was very friendly and welcoming. I wish I would have remembered her name, but typically every employee gives off that same level of energy so Ill address them as a whole. Thanks for your great service!

Sometimes there is a wait, but never unreasonable. Employees are knowledgeable about products and services, professional, and patient. Great prices on most items. Was able to find the 1 phone Ive been searching everywhere for.
I am predicting that Best Buy will be in bankruptcy in less than 2 years. Just try to call and make a complaint regarding a store manager and see if you can. They have lost sight of the customer and it’s not a problem only at select stores. The COVID thing has really been tough on us all but stores should apply mask rules/mandates evenly. I was just told to put on my mask at the store in Harvey Louisiana. I should have had it on and had just forgotten to pull it up (gaiter style). I suggested that the manager should make all his employees do the same, showed him two examples of employees not wearing masks correctly, and he argued with me. Something similar happened to me in Best Buy in Jacksonville Florida as well. I am done with Best Buy. Not because of the challenges associated with COVID and mask policy but because they no longer care about or listen to their customers. I challenge you to call the corporate office with a complaint about a store manager. Good Luck.

Had a good experience buying a TV. Of course they tried to sell me some extra things but can’t fault them for that. TV had to be shipped to the store for me to pickup which all went off well. Problem was when I finished installing the TV I saw that the LED panel was separated from the frame in the corner. I took pictures and brought in the TV. During the exchange process I was told the TV was not eligible for curbside pickup, which I had just done at that same store 2 days ago, and they would have to deliver. The earliest delivery time was 8 days away. I was slightly annoyed by that, but it was an expensive TV and if I had to wait a little it was ok. In the final step of the return I was told I would now have to pay $75 with tax to have the TV delivered even though 2 days prior I picked up the TV for no charge and had to return it because TV was separating at the frame. At this point, instead of making a scene I just paid the $75 and left. I just don’t get it. It’s good to know you’ll have good service when your spending your money, but as soon as there’s an issue the service starts to sour.
They had what I wanted at the same price as everyone else. I have no strong feelings about this store in either direction. Someday stores like this will make nice mega churches or indoor go kart tracks. Maybe paintball arenas or drone racing.
I love this place, but looking for in-stock items is horrid. Theres alot of items of the same type spread throughout the store, instead of being grouped together in one particular spot.
One of my Favorite stores Opens up at 11am, so many cars come and leave. What a Inconvenience! And some items aren’t in store, they refer you to online shopping! The store basically caters to online more then the in the store shoppers.

Really glad I wasted the time to drive to the West Bank to pick up my internet order from this location. Due to curbside pickup/social distancing I only double checked that the box was of the right item. Id have thought at a minimum thered be some quality control within the store to note if there was damaged packaging. 45 minute round trip to pick up a clearly damaged item. Ill be taking my business to other locations going forward. No wonder web retailers are eating your lunch!

Ok, so this is your regular, run of the mill Best Buy. Clean and busy. *Usually* well stocked but always hard to get assistance from an employee. Customer service always takes forever. I’m able to get what I want for the most part and get out through their ONE cash register. Never more than one open when I go in.

The Christmas rush is on and the Harvey Best Buy isnt ready. I placed an order yesterday which was supposed to be ready in an hour; in fact, it was finally ready in six hours later, after I gave up and went home, even though the items I had ordered were on the shelves in the store. I went back today to pick up my purchases and found that while the line I waited in yesterday was fairly short and handled by two people, todays line was three times longer and handled by one person. I was not impressed.
Went to buy a big screen TV. Q the veterans store, Requested assistance, the short manager came out snd he was rude with an attitude. I left and purchase the TV from Sams. Beter customer service and cheeper orice.

Disappointed in managements ability to inspire staff to provide functionality to display models. I wanted to buy speakers (3 of 4 didnt work). This is amazing considering the store employs tech geeks. In route to Metairie location (unfortunately) 🤔
Always seems to be understaffed, no matter what day or time you go. There are a handful of friendly associates, but most seem flustered and less than friendly. Management isn’t much better, probably explains the attitude of the rest of the staff. Don’t see a reason to return to this location, too many bad experiences 🤷🏽♀️

I’ve always really liked this Best Buy I’ve also bought many things from here knowing that I could get them cheaper online, although I just like going to the store there and picking something out, I’ve been going to this best buy my whole life and they have always helped me out, I think it’s a good place. They sometimes will have cheap prices to or deals!!! Geek squad always helps!
Update: not open to shop inside. Curb side only.Always had a good experience at this Best Buy. They are always quick with curb side also.

I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for a long time. I have purchased items as small as tech accessories to items as large as kitchen appliances, computers, phones, TVs, etc. I am sorry to say that I have had the absolute worst experience of my life at the Harvey, LA Best Buy. After waiting my turn in the heat outside, I wasn’t greeted properly, let alone greeted at all. The store associate that was helping me had no idea what she was doing and pretended to be a store manager. Not only was she unable to assist me in exchanging an item, she tried to wrongfully charge me more when I should not be paying any difference. When I asked for a supervisor, the supervisor also had no idea what she was doing and rudely told me that I had to pay the extra fee. When she finally did return my newly purchased, unused, unopened item, she still WRONGFULLY charged me an extra free that I should NOT have to pay whatsoever. I was so angry at this horrible service and asked for further assistance as Best Buy was basically stealing from me now. Instead of getting me help, the store associate proceeded to assist 2 other customers that are BEHIND me in line. Finally after much stress, frustration, and unnecessary waiting, a smart store associate came and showed them that I was RIGHT and that they are exchanging my product the WRONG way. She finally resolved my issue after 1 HOUR of waiting. I can hear the lady that was originally helping me say to her “oh I didn’t know how to do that”. Wow. She taught the woman pretending to be a manager how to properly process a return/exchange. I am not against training employees. However, I am against treating loyal customers poorly and rudely and pretending to know it all when you can easily ask your co-workers for further help. With that said, I will never be shopping at Best Buy again.

No one within 50 of me. Employee comes TO ME and asked me to pull my mask up! Again, I was in the small appliances section with NO ONE anywhere near me!! I bought from the manufacturer (Kitchen Aid,) instead of from them. I will not set foot in there again. I wear the mask whenever I am near others!

Due to the circumstances of Covid, I was finding it nearly impossible to have a delicious birthday cake delivered to my fiancee for her birthday. However, Theressa (the owner) was very ensuring that she would take care of my birthday cake request and have it delivered. She answered every question I had in a timely manner and made sure everything was set in place for my order. My fiancee received her cake and it was a HIT she loved every piece of it. Thank you, Theresa for being there for a special time in need.

Jack gave me his time w/out pressure offering info, showing merchandise, and carried my tv to the store front and waited to lad it in my car. I was clueless as to what modern tech today offers. The advancements was seeing. jack a gave me all the imp info needed. I wish he would’ve offered me his number ;) ... He and the other salesperson worked together to provide imp info, w/out compromising, excellent customer svc. Jack had a great attitude, polite, knowledgeable, & most of all very patient

Normally this is my store. But I feel like I see more associates standing around talking to each other, and no one will help anyone. If we have it on the shelf we have it. If you dont see it, we dont have itLast couple weeks have been the worst best buy visits Ive ever had.
This is definitely my go to place for all my electronics. I buy all my electronics from Best Buy. They have an option to purchase warranty on your electronics which I always buy just to have a peace of mind if something were to happen to any of your purchases. And if you have to used your warranty for a breakage or something it’s a fast and simple process with no hassle.
Today the line for best buy is absurdly lone. They are only allowing 1 customer to enter per dept. This isnt due to covid regulation. I waiting in a line for ove an hour to enter store, once I get to the front the lady (pleasant and only doing her job) states to me that I have to add my name to a list, before I can enter to return and that the wait is over an hour. I have an older person with me and due to the extreme heat and lack of shade, I am unable to make my return, furthermore I called trying to make an appt o no avail

Went to go Christmas shopping for my son. I found what I needed and at no point did anyone see if I needed help. I could have used some advice, suggestions. I spent about 200 dollars and I would have spent more. Staff didnt really seem to care about the customers that much.

I recently switched from android to iPhone, this in itself can prove to be a daunting task. I walked into Bestbuy where I had purchased my screen protector and case earlier for it to be installed. I happen to walk pass Enrique who asked if there was anything he could help me with. I explained to him my situation and without hesitation offered to help me with any and all my questions. When we were unable to figure out the issue with transferring my pictures and contacts Enrique reached out to another employee Juwan who was able to help us figure out exactly what needed to be done. They spent a considerable amount of time helping me troubleshoot. These 2 young men are an asset to Bestbuy and I hope they are treated as such. Thank you again guys.
