I went to the dealership knowing I wanted to look at the new Santa Cruz. Chris, the sales manager, greeted me. After I told him what I had in mind, he asked Torry Weary to help me. Torry put no pressure on me at all. He showed me the truck, showed me the features, took me out on a test drive, and laid out the buying process. I definitely felt that he and Chris were focused on making sure that I left the dealership happy, rather than just trying to close a sale. After the wash and detail, I did a walk around and noticed a few little issues. They immediately brought it back to that department and came back with a super clean vehicle. These guys really put the customer first, and they succeeded in their goal of making sure I left happy.
Horrible. I was just shopping around for a car. Was asked for some information. After giving it, I asked the guy if he was going to run my credit and NOT to do so. He said no he was not. 10mins later, Im getting notifications that my credit was pulled. I did not consent nor signed anything. I even texted him and asked him and he danced around that question. So now, Im in a fight to get these inquires removed because Ray Brandt Hyundai did what they wanted to do. I did get a new car, but it was else where with no problems. Bad service all around.
Getting my car serviced here has been the most frustrating experience, with long waits and lack of communication. I can understand some delays from the lack of rental cars and supply shortages, but I have had to call repeatedly to get any information from the service department.

I plan on sending these guys a personal thank you email for helping us out on our recent trip to New Orleans. My vehicle had an oil leak and we were unable to drive it home. The car was towed to Ray Brandts service department. This team was so helpful and understanding. I could tell they were understaffed (not their fault at all...thats how the world is right now with COVID). They had customers cars lined up and were very very busy, but they still took the time to check out my car, got it fixed, and back on the road fast. They really came through for us. We greatly appreciate them.
Ive fixed 10 problems exactly on my car since I purchased it from here! Ive changed the water pump, replaced the, the thermostat housing twice, the oil pan, the radiatior hose, the fuel pump, the purge control valve, and the oxygen sensor. And now the transmission! Yall couldve really gave me a better car than this! I have not enjoyed this car at all since I purchased it from you guys.
I brought my car in for service and due to covid and having parts shipped in its been there several months the manager Dave, took care of me . He issued me a car to use while mine was there. Easc and every time I called I was told an update and was given updates on my phone. The service team are outstanding !!! I want to thank Dave and his crew so much for all they have done for me. They have a customer for life!!

Todays visit didnt go very well. Went in to have my p/s front door checked out and was told it would be at least three days before they could get to it. So I figured if I schedule an appointment it would work out better for me. My 2013 Sonata had engine issues which I knew there was a recall. I called JP and he assured me that my car would be taken care of.I got it towed to the service department so they could start working on it. Hyundai approved my rental car and it took a few days to replace my engine. The service personnel of JP and Cornelius made sure that I knew what was going on and how long t would take. I received amazing service and will return and tell people to bring their cars there for service.
The service was long but it was worth it. They always try to make sure everything is fine b4 I leave. Will always go there if I have any trouble with my car

I will never do business with this establishment again. Apparently the people that bring their vehicles to be serviced by this dealership are trash. I was harassed yesterday with my 8 month old son in my arms for absolutely no reason, while dropping my car off to be serviced for routine maintenance.I couldn’t help but ask the service department, does this frequently happen both replied, yes.Rather than someone coming to calm the belligerent women down it seemed as if the manager knew her.By the display this women showed I’d be embarrassed to be her friend or family.

Professional but not pressured sales approach. Offered enough information and asked succinct questions about what I was looking for, vs steering me toward something I was not interested in. Due to the shop being busy and the bank closing before I could get there for the deposit, I was allowed to drive my car away that night and come back in the morning to finaiize details. When I returned, my car was gassed up and they even offered to hook up my blue link. Professional follow through after the sale.

I purchased a vehicle on March 10, 2020. My husband passed away the month prior so this was my first time buying a vehicle or in a dealership by myself. My mistake was that I told this to the staff. I was overcharged more than $500 on the sale price. This was NOT the amount advertised! It did not have a spare tire or the floor mats. I was told by Waddy and Heather they would order them and call me. After advising Heather of the overcharge I also spoke to Chris the manager in March. Chris said he would speak to his manager and call me back. NO CALLS ON ANY OF THE PROBLEMS I HAVE EXPERIENCED AT THIS DEALERSHIP!! I called Chris on May 14, 2020 to discuss my concerns again. He acted as though he never spoke to me and it’s the first time he is.aware of my concerns. He said someone would call me later that day. Well I’m still waiting! Waiting on my reimbursement for the overcharge. Waiting on the spare tire. Waiting on the floor mats. I did not try to get a lower price on the car or ask for any extras. My reward for this was to charge me more on the price and not honor anything I was told would be done! I am so upset and disappointed! I NEVER want to be in a dealership again. At least not a Ray Brandt dealership. I will let everyone know about my experience! VERY POOR SERVICE AT RAY BRANDT HYUNDAI!!!!!
Friendly sales person but from my first comment that I do not pay for all the extra MSRP add ons, was told instantly by the salesman....oh I wont charge you those fees....so we began our Palisade selection. This was going to be a CASH purchase. Went home to discuss which of 2 cars we were interested in, ask for and got a TEXT TTL price figure and confirmed the car we wanted.. After getting confirmation of the price, we drove in the next day......to then get a printed price quote $1400 higher than quoted. Hmm, $199 for wheel lock addition when the car comes with Wheel locks ($55). When I reminded our salesman of his price quote text, he went to his manager....came back and said....sorry thats the best we can do. NOT coming back here anymore. Bought Palisade from another dealer 2 days later for $1500 less. PS, $299 for Nitrogen in the Tires.....reallyDISsatified potential customer.

We went to get a 2020 Hyundai Tucson (were ready to buy). We asked to see the 2020 Tucson Value trim and the salesperson said ok, went into the building to get the keys and a few minutes later came out with a 2021 Tucsons keys. The salesperson then said her manager said that we could not see the 2020 Tucson because it wasnt even supposed to be there. It had a recall and they were no longer allowed to sell them any more. But we could look at the (more expensive and not the same rebates) 2021 Tucson. We said no and left. Its been about 3 weeks since then and the 2020 Tuscon Value trim is still being advertised on Ray Brandts website. I dont know if thats the strategy they use to get people to come in, and then sell them a more expensive vehicle, or what but I did not feel like I had a good experience overall.

Brought my 2016 Tucson in, to repair a few things. Back windows wouldn’t roll up, passenger door wouldn’t open from the outside, a/c wouldn’t get cold and my car was having trouble shifting gears sometimes and would shake. They gave me a loaner car and had everything done in a week. Changed the clutch, put in a new air compressor, changed the door handle and the parts in my window. Now my car is good as new. Excellent service.
Please please make sure everything is in check before you buy a used car from these people. I just bought a 2018 car from them a week ago and the battery goes out. When I called to say this, they tell me to go to the service center to check it out. After waiting for three hours, they wait to tell me at their closing time that they cannot fix the issue and if I wanted to, I would have to come out of pocket 300 dollars. The sales team does not seem to care about this issue, so please watch what car you buy from these people. or you will end up paying for an issue that is not your fault.
Ive been bringing my car to get serviced there for years and have had nothing but great experiences each and every time. Cornelius Brown in the service is absolutely amazing and is a great asset to the service department. My last visit there required my car to get a new engine due to a recall and I couldnt be more please at how everything was handled.

I was in a rush but needed to get my oil changed and tires rotated as Saturday is the only time I can fit into my schedule to have any work done on my car and let me tell you I was out of there in no time. Getting your car fixed is never really a pleasure BUT it always was for me because of Mike in the service center...always pleasant and helpful...now I hear that he is leaving and...so am I...there were a few times the mechanics screwed up my car and yet mike was always there to put it right...I had thought of changing before but knew that mike would see me right ( when they changed my radiator and a hose came loose the next day for instance!) The only reason there are two stars on this review is because someone there at some point had the sense to hire him!! As soon as he lands somewhere obviously better I will be there!!

I had one of the most heart felt moments today.. my world was tumbling down right before my eyes. I was over 400 and something miles away from home with almost nope hope. Keep in my I own a Dodge Charger and my towing company drop my car at the wrong dealership. But I Mya say there are still some angle out here. I had several on this day. Three of them works for this dealership: Heather who walk out to help me cause I looked like I need help, she offer my child snacks, she asked if there was anything that she could do. I was so emotional and crying and she show love, patient and care to a total stranger and this should not go unnoticed. The next person is Chris John who is the manager, he was well dress and very pleasant. Even though he was dress in some great clothes he help me pushed my car and tried to assist me in every way possible and this melt my heart.. because he didn’t have to do it... my car was not even on his side, but he took the initiative to do everything possible to help me. Last but not least Jason Nash who is the GM also assisted in pushing my car while being well dressed...Angels like these are hard to find.. and I promise to never forget these great people. I can’t say thank you enough.. and everyone I visit I’m going to show them appreciation ❤️❤️❤️
I brought my 2019 Santa Fe in for a routine oil change and tire rotation and I not only paid more then usual but I also never got the tire rotation that I was told they did and that I paid for. Once I realized I called them and they told me to bring it back in and they finally did it I think anyway that time. I was not very pleased with service but that day. This happened to a coworker of mine the same day so I’m not sure what the deal way. I also never get any emails sent to me like others and was told I was going to start getting them but that has yet to happen and it’s been over a month now. Hopefully next time is better is all I have to say.
After visiting 3 dealerships where I was almost exhausted and out of hope I decided to go to Ray Brandt where I usually do my vehicles services to see if I can purchase a vehicle within my budget and to my surprise before I was able to park someone was already greeting me which was already the first expression of success! Shamara the agent who attended me and my husband was excellent and we were able to make a deal and leave with a brand 2019 car! Drove out of state to pick up the car that I wanted because the customer service at my Hyundai dealership was terrible. My salesman Alfred was great! The manager was also awesome as he was willing to negotiate with me to get the car down to a reasonable price with TTL included. Overall, great experience. It was worth the drive and I am very happy with my brand new car.

Brought my vehicle in due to the window would not role up. I was told that Wednesday the parts would be two days to come in for the repair. On Friday I was told the parts did not come in and would be in on Monday. Monday came and was told the part was on back order and would be in on Wednesday. They offered to give me a rent a car for the trouble. Went to get the rent a car that afternoon and they said they did not have a car to give me. Parts did not come in till Friday, so was out of a car for 10 days due to a window not able to roll up. No phone calls between days to update on the parts. I had to keep calling and asking why they keep telling me days the parts would be in and not show up. No explanation or supervisor ever called to explain about rent a car or part problems. Terrible service for a simple repair.

I was visiting family by way of Texas when my car notified me a headlight bulb had blown. Metairie Hyundai which was only a couple miles away was booked but I needed the replacement ASAP as I was due to get on the road in return for Texas the next morning. I phoned the next Hyundai and spoke with Cornelius at Ray Brandt Hyundai who said they could readily replace the bulb and although a bit of a journey through work traffic the trip was well worth it!Cornelius was friendly, personable, and informative. If needed when visiting family again I would definitely visit this location to service my Hyundai Sonata! Thanks so much for providing exceptional customer service Cornelius Brown; I appreciate your personable professionalism.Additional note: this location was not equipped to accept samsung/apple pay. These forms of payment are my preferred when travelling. Thankfully, I was able to enter my card number directly into the card reader. I went over there because my extended warranty was about to come to a close and my engine was making a crazy noise when accelerating so I asked them to do a full engine check and they for sure did so... come to find out the engine was dying from the inside out and they did everything they could to make sure that I was able to get a full engine replacement completely covered by the warranty! Thank God because I will be traveling here soon and would have been stranded on the side of the road across the cou try with my child! Thanks again Yall are the BEST!!! Wouldnt take my car anywhere else!

Ive never had a Service Department reach out to me on their own initiative before Ray Brandt Hyundai. Through no fault of their own, they identified a part which was sent to them with an anomaly. They then reached out to me to fix the issue which they did in a very expedient manner. Going to the mechanic is always a stressful ordeal, but these guys take the stress out of it, and I look forward to doing business with them in the future. Im glad that Ive finally found a decent service shop here in the Orleans area!

When I arrived at the dealership for service things didnt go well in the beginning. The process wasnt smooth or uneventful, but they recovered well. It was time for my oil change and tire rotation and a recall fix. I called and spoke to Derrick and made my appointment for the same week. When I got there Derrick went over what was going to be done and told me about how long it would take so I stayed and waited. My car was ready in less the time advised. This is the 3rd time Ive been there and had great customer service and professionalism from all.
Worked with Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Penny and Mrs. Faqua all day and settled on a deal. We were supposed to pick up the car the next day. They sold it late at night the night before. We received no phone call just regrets the next day. What a way to do business. Very disappointed and unbelievably unprofessional. Will choose not to do business with them in the future. Plenty of other options out there.
