The sales person I worked with was very patient and knowledgeable. He helped me with my car buying process and I was able to get the car so I wanted. What really stood out about him was I have been to other car dealerships in the past and although you want another car the would try to put you in one that they feel is best for you. He did the opposite he listened to what type of car I wanted, and I drove off in the exact car I wanted. That definitely sets Mr. Ronnell Roach on a level all by himself. His customer service was excellent also.

I brought my vehicle to get serviced, a tire balance and rotation which should take no more than 1 hour as well as an A/C check. After 2 hours I was informed by phone that I would need a compressor for the A/C which I denied and said to balance the tires. Over 2 hours later still waiting, and upon questioning what was going on I found out they just forgot as they jumped up on it. Upon hearing this I said to release my vehicle which took almost another hour.

They marked everything as completed and pass the inspection but when we checked under the hood everything was empty from the coolant to windshield fluid, which was all part of the service package I paid for. Not only that but I had no problems with starting my car up prior to bringing it there. When they called me they said your battery terminal is broken. If the battery terminal was already broken how would I have started the car to get it there. My car didnt even start when I picked it up. They had to give my car a jump. The terminal was completely broken. They had to break it when they were checking the battery and never admitted to it or tried to rectify the situation. Instead they wanted to charge me $115 for them to fix something I never broke. Never again will I use this location. It makes me wonder how many times I paid them to do something and the job was never completed in its entirety.

It took a while to get the part in, which was not at all Ray Brandts fault; it was the manufacturers. Don went out of his way to accomdate me and supplied me with a great rental car. He always kept me informed of what was going on. I dont think Ive ever gotten this high level of service before from other repair shops. Don clearly is dedicated to his job, is highly educated in this industry, and exhibited high performance levels. If we had a position open at the company I work for, Id try to steal him from you.

The truck was brought in only to find out what the code meant and then we were going to go from there and decide if it wasn’t too costly for Nissan to do the work. When my husband got the call and the prognosis, he asked how much it would cost and it was outrageously high for the work to be done. He did the work himself for much cheaper. Lesson learned.

I have been going to this service center since 2017 and the service slowly continues to go down. They use to give a paper after your full car inspection which came with whatever service you received. When they switched to an electronic version that couldn’t be saved for your records. Now you get nothing! I dropped my car off for an oil change. They normally call you when they are working on your vehicle and tell you what else is recommended. This time they called and just told me my car was ready so I assumed I didn’t need anything additional. When I picked up my car my receipt had a paper attached saying my cabin filters needed to be changed and my tires were dry rottening. I was pretty upset so I went to speak to someone and he explained that he triedTo call me twice. And when he got through he just wanted to make sure he told me my car was ready in a decent amount of time. I said but both these items listed are in red which usually means it’s important to address. He made it seem like it wasn’t an emergency and that didn’t add up to what was on the paper. It’s also was about 4:30. I feel like they rushed my service and are trying to manipulate me because I am a female. Those inspections papers are important to me because I base my vehicle maintenance on them. All my service is done there and the last time I went no one said anything about my tires and now all of sudden they are in terrible condition. So either the person before didn’t inspect my car and this person actually did their job or this person is trying to manipulate me. Either way I am very upset them how the situation was handled.

I had an oil change. After leaving, I stopped at the store and my car wouldnt start. I was able to get a jump and get to the auto parts store. I learned that I needed a new battery. The battery cables had lots of corrosion on them. This wasnt brought to my attention.I also paid to have my tires rotated. I am pretty positive that wasnt done. My rear drivers side tire was low and I was going to the tire shop to get it checked (under the warranty). That low tire position never changed to another location, which leads me to believe that it wasnt done (unless this can be proved otherwise).I was very disappointed by this experience and not sure that I will be bringing my car here for any future service needs.

Was able to make appointment online, drove from Thibodaux, La. to Harvey, La. which is about 65 to 75 mins away. Appointment was on 7/2/21 at 2 pm, arrived about 1:30 pm, waited for a service advisor, then was told they could not work on the vehicle until next week. Not the right way to run a service department, how can they let customers make appointments online, drive over an hour, then they are not able to work on the vehicle ?? Will not be doing any business at this Nissan car dealership ever again.........

John, the service man who handled our case was initially very rude. He WOULD NOT listen to what we were saying to him. He insisted that he was reading what had recently been done to my car in January word for word in the Nissan computer and kept telling my wife that she was wrong about what work had been done. My wife called the dealership that had done the previous repair and verified that what she was trying to tell John was correct. So, after the dealership that did the work read to my wife, word for word, what was on their computer it was VERY obvious that John was lying about what he was reading. We had gone to Auto Zone the night before when the engine light came on and put it on their little tester and the print out from that was on the seat of the car (WITH AUTO ZONE written at the top of their paper). John INSISTED that we didnt have the mass air flow sensor previously changed because he was both looking at the receipt AND looking at in the computer. When challenged with the fact that a call had been made to the dealership he said hed have to call us back. When he called back he stated that he was looking at the paperwork that was left on the seat of the car. So, he never noticed that it said AUTOZONE and he lied about what he was reading in the computer. He tried to say that wed have to pay the extended warranty deductible to which my wife had to challenge him again because it was under Nissan warranty. When that was all cleared up he tried saying that we couldnt have a loaner car because the previous work in January, for the same issue, was done at a dealership in South Carolina (we bought the car at Ray Brandt but, have since moved to Georgia and were home in LA for personal reasons). Then he said he could give us a loaner car but had to charge us for it. My wife again challenged that situation. There is no reason why a dealership in LA cant give a loaner car because WARRANTIED work was done at another dealership no matter where work was done. When it was all said and done, the loaner car was given with no issues except for the initial rudeness when we went to get the loaner car (the work was going to take 3 days). We got the loaner car on Friday and returned it on Monday as agreed. When my wife returned the car there were no problems and John was not rude like he was in the first encounters with him. This is the 2nd time the same issue has left us with our car in the shop within 4 months. The car was brand new, with 8 miles on it when we drove it off the lot at Ray Brandt on January 27, 2020. On January 27, 2021 it was in the shop for the Mass Air Flow Filter and again in April of 2021 for the exact same thing. When my wife asked John why this is happening to the car when she returned the loaner he simply told her, that happens a lot with the Rogues. We are beginning to think we have a lemon and that happens a lot with the Rogues is not an acceptable answer on a brand new car that keeps leaving my wife with it in the shop. There HAS TO BE a reason that this is happening and not just that its a Rogue. Now, 1 month later the car is starting to hesitate again. Not pleased with how we were treated in the service department at Ray Brandt Nissan (Bob Richards Nissan in South Carolina was phenomenal, however) or the purchase at all at this point.

Prior to financing this current car (2021 Nissan Rogue) I had a 2019 Nissan Kicks. That I had just financed 7 months previously. I took it to this service center (Ray Brandt Nissan) for an oil change and the service tech forgot to replace the oil cap. It was three days later before I notice something was wrong with my car. Just thought initially the oil smell was because the tech left the smell from his clothes. There was oil in my engine every where. For the mistake the service tech made, I was offered 2 free oil changes and a sorry. This amounted to $140 for a $5000 mistake on their part. I had to trade my car in and now I have a much higher car note. Very unsatisfied with Ray Brandt Nissan service center on the westbank.

Brought in my 2016 Nissan Pathfinder on tuesday 07/06/2021 for service due to it not running right.I was told that they were unable to look at my suv until Friday 07/09/2021 and that i would have to leave it there.I do not have anyone else to pick me up or have any other vehicle to get around in plus i am planning a vacation on next week to drive out of town.After the young lady behind to checkout counter said i could talk to John P Sens (Service Advisor) who was very nice and helpful.He said he could call Enterprise car rental and have them come by to pick me up so i could get a rental until my suv was fixed.I was very upset because i thought that i would be responsible for payment of this rental but when i got to Enterprise the lady said Nissan was paying for me to have a rental for 5 days.I was pleasantly surpised and put my mind to ease that i could go take care of what i needed to while my suv was in service plus i didnt need to pay out of pocket for this rental.I received a call on Thursday morning from a guy in the service department and he said they figured out what was wrong with my suv and they had the part in stock plus it was covered on the manufactured warranty on the transmission.He said they would have my suv ready that day.Over all i was upset in the beginning but due to John P Sens help and kindness i was please in the end with this service.I feel John P Sens went above and beyond to make me feel satisfied with this service experience and he should be awarded some kind of way for his GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

My Nick won the Scholarship from Ray Brandt and came in 2nd place for selling the most tickets at St. Michael Special School when Mrs. Brandt raffled off a 2021 Toyota. Melvin Gera, Craig Pesses and Brody Cardon kept Nick occupied for me and my husband Robie, who works there as well, while all the paper work was going thru. Calvin Brown helped me out immensely! Two of the issues I was having were computer-related and he fixed them immediately on the spot by knowing the button tricks to reset the issue. He was quick, he listened carefully to all the maintenance points I wanted covered, and I did not doubt he would have my Rogue turned around as soon as possible to get me on my way. Offered extremely low price on my trade in and was told by the salesperson what a horrible engine was in my existing car. He then proceeded to tell me what I needed to do and what was best for me. Not sure that ever works for him, but I don’t respond to a salesperson telling me what I NEED to do. Hidden fees (not including normal dealer fees and taxes) added to a printout provided by the sales manager. I have had a better experience at a different dealer and purchased a car elsewhere.

I had stopped coming to ray Brandt because each time I came something went wrong. I decided to try them again and without fail, something went wrong!!!!! I asked several times not to roll down my windows and they did exactly that. Even though they got it back up, the window doesnt stay up now!!!!!! Best part about the trip was the service tech Lewis. **Edit** Ray Brandt Nissan has reached out to me with professionalism to resolve my issue. I changed this review do to the care of this business to make things right.Absolutely the worse people to deal with. I refinanced my Nissan for a lower interest rate. The (new) finance company told me to get my GAP and extended service plans canceled and refunded to me, as they would add these services in my new finance agreement. I have emailed my SIGNED cancellation form along with ALL requested documents they said they needed. I have sent 3 emails and a number of phone calls/voicemails. Not one person will return my call or provide information/status on this cancellation request. I even showed up to start this process in person and got the run-around from one of the finance guys - I provided PROOF of payoff information to the dealer and still nothing. There is way to many Nissan places in the NOLA metro area. I would advise you check another location besides this dealer, unless you enjoy the hassle and zero customer service!

The service manager Chris gave awesome customer service but the repairman didnt make sure my car was fixed and I had to bring it back a second time. I recieved a tire rotation and they didnt even check the air pressure on the tires. They give that type of service at some of the 5min oil change places that cost a lot less. My air conditioner is working now,but my car is driving like it needs a wheel alignment coincidentally. I would like to thank Chris for making sure my A/C and windshield wiper tank was fixed this time.

The staff was friendly, welcoming and very professional from the receptionist, salesman, finance and service. My salesman Mr. Bates was amazing. He sat with my and helped me pick a car that suits me and my needs. He took me to the lot to see the vehicle and patiently went over all the features and answered every question I had. The test drive was very smooth. As we drove he explained more features on the inside. When we returned, my decision already made, I was going home in that car. Car deals should not be this hard or long. And what happened to choices. Every car is white or black with black interior. Almost 7hrs one day on a friday. Transport didnt happen on Saturday. Then because the car they initially looked at was sold by the time we were done, they had to redo everything because the vin changed. Another 4hr wait. No wonder the car apps are so popular.

I had my husband take my car to Nissan in Harvey this morning for a bad tire sensor just to be told that even though I have a 36,000 mile warranty that they will not replace it/ fix it because I did not go to them for new tires because they are after market. I called the Metairie location and was told no matter where I went for tires that they have to fix it because of the warranty. Do not bring your cars to harvey nissan for anything if you change one thing on the car because their prices are to high for new tires and they wont fix it if you do not do everything through them. Id do my business with the one in metairie. Also the man who my husband spoke with was rude as all hell and was so disrespectful. He’s lucky it was my husband and not me.

I wish I could give the Service Dept., a better grade but the way I was treated leaves me no choice. First encounter was very good and a 5 star job in January. Then in February until the first week of March: Forgotten twice, wrong part ordered, miss diagnosed, new order required, waited 4 hours in lounge when no one was working on a job that took 15 to 30 minutes, three extra trips across the bridge. HOWEVER, they did comp a large amount of the bill and did give me a loaner twice. Not one apology

I bought the car from another Nissan dealership and had a few very bad experiences with their service department. I decided I would never go back to that dealership or buy another Nissan. Luckily, I had a recall notice and brought the car to Ray Brandt Nissan. They were friendly, very helpful and made sure I was comfortable while my car was being worked on. He even asked me if I wanted something to drink. He explained what was being fixed for the recall and let me know how long it would take. Thanks to Ray Brandt Nissan, I have a new dealership that Im happy with and will feel comfortable going there for service and when Im ready for a new car. Excellent dealership!! Great job taking care of their customers and the cars.

I went in for a routine oil change. The service rep, Tyler, was very friendly and communicated to me very well the other issues they found: rear brakes and engine filter. I declined the brakes immediately due to the price. But I did ask how important the engine filter was. He explained how important It is to change the engine filter every so many miles but I declined because I wanted to talk to my dad first about it. Also. I didn’t want to wait any longer since I waited for about an hour. I patiently waited and watched Netflix on my phone but it was already late and I decided to get it done next time I go in. I probably would’ve opted to change it if they had a picture of what it looked like but I wasn’t sure how bad it was and I’m still not sure since I didn’t see it with my own eyes. At the end of the visit, I informed Tyler that I had a coupon at home for the oil change and he applied a $5 off coupon. I appreciate the courtesy and I will always come back to Ray Brandt Nissan.
