The experience with Cape Cod Shower Kits could not have been better. Delivery was as scheduled. All email questions were answered in a timely fashion. The installation videos were extremely helpful. I had my standard enclosure installed in just a few hours.My only other comment is for kits that mount to the house with 4x4 posts, provide longer lag screws so you dont have to go in at an angle. I bought some myself and it looks a lot better. I also had to trim the post caps near the house so they would fit, but that was a minor thing.All in all, a fantastic product and Im very pleased with it.
Saw a Cape Cod Shower kit at a friends house and had to grab one for myself. Great quality. Awesome customer service. Answered all of my questions ahead of time and helped me with which model would fit my space. Easy to assemble and needed only one person for a couple of hours to help me put it together. Can’t say enough how much we love our outdoor shower.
I ordered and installed a shower kit from Cape Cod Shower Kits Co for a new home in Falmouth Ma and it looks great! They delivered it as requested and when we needed it early adjusted their schedule to get it to us no issues. It came on a pallet, had easy instructions and all the needed parts. It installed in less than 3 hours, including digging the holes, with no issues. It is high quality and looks great! Thanks and keep up the great work! Rob
Ordered and installed the basic cedar shower and we are thrilled with it. It comes in panels which makes assembly simple with included instructions. All necessary hardware was also included for attaching to the house. I am so glad I purchased this kit instead of building something myself. It looks great and was fast to install. We get compliments all the time. And the cedar smells great :)
Shower kit is worth the cost. Ive previously done it with regular fencing and my own posts. That solution is ok, and looks fine for the first year. But after a while gaps developed and we had to use privacy curtains on the walls, and the wood looks worn. The kit, however, uses much nicer lumber and is much sturdier. Its a much needed addition to our pool and looks beautiful with the rest of the backyard. Highly recommend. From a customer service standpoint: The company was very responsive. Small company, so you get the personal service from a real person at their office. Delivered it quickly and without an issue. I got a free bench, but it was missing with the initial delivery. And one call later, they shipped me one without a hassle.
The cedar shower is a quality product which we enjoy immensely. The kit came on time and was complete and easy to assemble with 2 people. We did our own assembly and the arranged for the local plumber to install the copper plumbing.We are so happy with our new outdoor shower from Cape Cod Shower Kits!
This product is definitely of great quality and made with strong and durable materials. The installation was easy and straight forward. My wife was giving me a hard time for wanting an outdoor shower but now she is the one that cant stop showering outdoor. One of the advantage of PCV showers is the low maintenance and durability. I completely recommend this shower kit!
I ordered the ‘83 kit in cedar with lattice and the upgraded shower bench. The ordering process was painless although I wish there was more communication as to when I might expect the shower to be delivered. When my shower arrived it had a few incorrect pieces but the manager of the company personally delivered the correct items the next day. I was very impressed with that customer service. I think the instructions could be a bit more clear on how to install the shower, also there was no hardware included to secure the shower to the house but a quick trip to the hardware store and everything was good to go.The shower looks great, went together very easily, customer service was phenomenal despite the few hiccups in the ordering/delivery process.

Y’all may know it’s hot and humid in Savannah, Georgia, and, though I live in town not the beach, my CCOS comes in mighty handy after a morning of yard work! The guy who put it together for me did it in three hours single handedly and will now be recommending the shower to others! Can’t say enough good about the whole experience!
We made the best choice purchasing a Cape Cod Outdoor Shower Kit. We were going to do one ourselves or buy a cheap one from Home Depot but so happy we decided to just go with Cape Cod. The customer service and delivery were perfect, smooth and responsive. The kit came intact with everything we needed and the install was fairly simple for my some-what handy husband. The look and smell of the cedar walls is beautiful, the aroma with every shower is heavenly! Cape Cod is the only way to go!

We love our Cape Cod Outdoor Shower! They were great to work with when we were looking into the possibility of purchasing one. They answered all of my questions to help me make sure it would fit in our location and about our specific install (mounted on a deck). In our case we built a deck and reinforced the decking where the posts would land. We bought 4x4 post bases and mounted the shower on them. We left it free standing up against the shed as the 4th wall. It was very easy to put together. The hardest part was getting the water out there and figuring out exactly where we wanted the shower to land on the deck.The cedar looks amazing. Everyone who sees it (and showers in it) says it is amazing. The kids love it. Life is a beach. This outdoor shower has literally changed our lives. I have not showered inside since the day we finished it.

We ordered the 83x48 shower kit for our shore house. It arrived quickly on a pallet and included all the parts and instructions needed for assembly. I added a roof for privacy; this also makes the shower more structurally solid. Additional work included figuring out drainage. The shower is beautiful, roomy, smells of fresh cedar, and has added a whole new dimension to our house. Love it.
This is a terrible company. I called and spoke to someone about a custom order. He said yes, we can do this, and we went back and forth through email over the course of 10 days, going over questions and details. He provided a detailed price quote through email. I was about to order and out of the blue, he emailed me saying, sorry, we can no longer do it. We are too busy. I called and he refused to let me talk to a manager. I tried to explain my frustration, that while they are too busy, management should shut off new requests but honor the customers to which they already said yes. It sounds like they are making money hand over fist, as he said they are busier than ever before, and dont have time to honor requests they already agreed to. I suggest to not waste your time with these guys, as they are mismanaged. Ive had several neighbors on my street asking me about my shower and I look forward to directing them away from this company.
Very poor customer service. I called 4 times in March and set sketches of what we are looking for. I was told they would email me a quote. It is now May and have still not received a response. I first talked with Scott who apparently left the company. I then spoke with Francis in March and May who told me business is booming so they dont get back to all messages and I might consider another company if I want a shower kit.

These shower kits are great! Sturdy and easy to assemble and install - if you have a friend to lend a helping hand it makes it even easier, but I managed it on my own and I’m 65. Everyone remarks how beautiful it looks and it appears to be built to last - solid all cedar construction with very substantial cedar posts that anchor the walls and door. This is a great value and well worth it - I highly recommend it. Also, a great company to deal with - it was easy setting up delivery and the kit comes with assembly instructions and an excellent how-to video on YouTube that makes it very clear.
My wife and I completed the shower in a few days, had plumbing installed during the week, we were showering within 7 days! We are NOT carpenters by trade but we do have common sense. It basically went together with a power drill and a level. (level is highly recommended) ALL parts were supplied. Delivery was relatively quick considering the current Covid-times we are in. They deserve zero stars! I ordered the outdoor shower back on March 15th, assuming this would give me enough time to have it delivered and installed before my bathroom construction started. After 6 weeks had gone by with no word of my shower being shipped I called CCSK several times and finally got an answer that, for whatever reason, my order never made it out of the warehouse. Now its been at the freight warehouse for 3 weeks waiting for a truck to fill up to get delivered. Meanwhile, after speaking with the freight company it was admitted to me that they make a delivery to my area several times a week! The freight company rescheduled on me 3 times and then on the day it was supposed to be delivered they forgot to load it on the truck! Rescheduled for the fourth time! Oops wait, nope, still didnt show up on that day either.I bought and paid for this in full (including the shipping fee) 9 weeks ago. Ive now spoken to at least 4 people regarding this situation and all Ive gotten are excuses including: not enough drivers, COVID economy, we are only human, a cedar shortage (thats a new one), terrible 3rd party freight company, and my favorite thus far- not enough truck driving schools! Never once has anyone actually apologized or offered to do anything about this!I wanted to support a small business and now Im wishing I just bought from Wayfair or Home Depot.

The kit (Deluxe) is much sturdier that I anticipated. In fact, originally I was going to attach my free standing kit to my house, but once up, it feels plenty sturdy as is. The modular design is excellent and the materials are excellent as well. I will warn you that there is not one word of instructions, but the on-line video was a help. And the folks in the office provided excellent help too. Its a quality product---but trim the posts before erecting.
We added an outdoor shower to our pool patio for COVID summer. It has exceeded expectations from a use and convenience perspective. The kit was straightforward to assemble. Just remember to hang panels down to match the door with its top brace in place. And add a cross brace or gate tightener kit to the door to prevent sagging.
Worked with them to find the right unit. Shipped quickly, installed easily, and we love it. In the world of plastic everything, we are glad we bought the wood unit. The look and smell of the cedar is great.
This couldnt have been easier to put together. The quality is excellent and the shower fits perfectly into the setting of our home on the water. Thank you Cape Cod Shower, you think of everything and we will be back!

We went to the warehouse to look at the kits and were given a brochure on all the options. Questions were answered, and when we called to order, everything went smoothly. Our contractor was able to pick it up without any issues, and now we have a beautiful outdoor shower, a must for the Cape.
We waited for nearly a month after this left the company. They blamed it on the delivery company but they should only blame themselves. It took 3 social media accounts direct messaging and several emails and calls to get a person on the phone and this was post Covid peak and we are in Ny where we got everything else from companies all over the US with no problems . Once we got the product (after the delivery company said they did us a favor for delivering it a month late, the product was bent, required two man install and extra support to square it. Pieces missing and just an unfortunate and bad experience and product. We suffered through it hoping the product would stand up to others reviews but it is bad quality, bad service and bad experience all around. You think they would have called, checked in, emailed but no... they got paid so who cares.
Buyer Beware! Although not as egregious as Bens experience described below, I too have been getting inconsistent, inaccurate information on my order for over a week from this company, with little indication they know what is going on and can provide a defined resolution. I placed my order for an outdoor shower kit, including and optional bench and floor, on 06-01-2020 via their website, and at the time of my order everything ordered was represented as in stock. However when my order was delivered on 06-11-2020, I found that neither the bench or the floor were delivered. I called the company and spoke to a representative who indicated the bench and floor were in fact not stock, but would be shipped separately shortly--(again, that information was not provided at the time of my order). I was assured that they would be receiving a shipment of benches and floors by the next day, and my missing items would be expeditiously shipped by the following day, to be received during the following week. Well, it is now the end of the following week, and I still do not have the missing items from my order. I called the company again twice today, speaking to two different representative, but neither can provide a definitive status of my missing order items, which I find very disconcerting and reflective of an operation that is not well run. This situation is a shame because the components of my order that I did receive are high-quality and would function well if this company could simply deliver on its commitments. An order should not be accepted if it cannot be delivered upon, and the company should acknowledge the real stock status of all products sold at the time of order. Therefore, I cannot recommend this company to perspective buyers; with a company this disorganized, your purchase experience could be lucky to be as bad as mine, or far worse like Bens! Caveat Emptor!
Liars! Stay Away!! FB page says showers in stock for immediate delivery (Lie #1). My 96 year old Father in law was coming home from rehab after a significant bike accident where he cannot climb stairs. So we ordered a shower on June 1st and were told delivery could take 4 to 6 weeks. We offered to pick it up. They told us Wednesday because the bench and floor were not in stock (Lie #2). Then it Thursday, Friday etc. Finally on June 6 they said we could pick it. I asked how big the package was, they said 4 X 8, so we rented a trailer (Lie #3). Upon arrival, we realize it was smaller and we wasted money on a trailer. She gets home and we find out that the floor, bench and support 2 X 4 was missing (Lie #4). Now its 6/22 and we are still getting the runaround where are parts are. They keep setting expectations tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes (Lie#5). His OT will not approve the shower in its current form without a floor. So he has to sit on a chair in the yard (in full view of neighbors) while we shower him. Meanwhile we keep calling and calling. They dont return phone calls. They dont care how they are treating a 96 year old disabled man.
I ordered a custom shower enclosure on 6/15/20, and paid in full at the time of purchase (which was a red flag right off the bat). I was told by Scott it would take 4-6 weeks to complete and ship the custom, and that I should call back at around 4 weeks to check on the status of my order.I called 4 weeks later (7/13), and had to call back after 48 hours because Scott did not take or return my call. I was told then (7/15) that they were just waiting on a few parts, and my order should be ready to ship as soon as the parts arrive.The 6 week window closed with no word from Scott, and after 7 weeks, on 7/31, I called again and was told that all the custom pieces were on-site, would be inspected ASAP, and I could expect the order to ship in a week unless the custom parts were damaged. I made Scott promise that this would be the last time I called him, and that he would send me an update one way or the other within the week.Surprise: I never received a call.Called once again today (8/12; more than 8 weeks after I was charged), and was told something about PVC parts in the warehouse, which is odd considering I ordered a cedar enclosure, and it would ship within a week (sounds familiar if youve read the other reviews). I informed Scott that he had lost my trust, and that they have one week to either show me that my enclosure is in transit (not sitting in a warehouse with a shipping label), or issue a full refund.I have exactly zero confidence that I wont be on the phone fighting with Cape Cod Shower Kits over my refund next week. Cape Cod was just about the most expensive shower enclosure out there, but I chose to believe that the premium price reflected not only a premium product, but also premium service. Thus far, describing the service as adequate would be a huge stretch. Ive never been offered an apology or an honest explanation for the holdup. If the delays are due to COVID, this should be explained to customers *before* the order is finalized, just like every other business is doing.UPDATE 8/19:I finally received my shower enclosure yesterday. Even after all thats happened, I am still disappointed with the overall quality. I would think that, for the price, they could at least sand out the rough side and all the splinters. There is a good-sized gouge in the floor piece. There is a corner missing from the bench piece. Even worse, my kit was missing all the screws to put it together, a cedar 2x4, and 7 post caps. I conservatively estimate the value of the missing parts at just over $190; and that does not include any of the damage. At this point, I am not going to wait for this company to send out replacements, so I asked to be refunded for the cost of everything missing. Scott offered me $100, arguing that since I was not specifically charged for the post caps, I did not pay for them. I argued that they were included in the itemized email, and therefore included in the price he quoted. I spent about 10 minutes on the phone trying to get Scott to make good. I asked for his supervisors name, and it took several attempts to get him to cough up this information. I finally got his extension and left a message. I am now waiting on Cape Cod Shower Kits once again, as this absent supervisor must sign off on my (apparently extravagant) refund request.Bottom line: I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are dishonest, uncommunicative, and beyond slow. There is no excuse for any of this (and they never really bothered to explain themselves). I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.
Received our shower several weeks after placing our order on 5/18/20 but we were missing the beach pebbles and floor. Was told multiple times by Scott that they were looking into it. After several correspondence they refunded the beach pebbles on 6/22 as they were still not in stock but I was told affirmatively that my floor had shipped as of that date. I followed up two weeks after to see if I could get a tracking number as my floor had not yet arrived (though I was told it had been shipped out). Twice I spoke on the phone with Scott and he said “it has shipped but it looks like it’s not moving” and was promised that he would “look into it”. Today I spoke with someone else on the phone and after taking my information she rushed me off the phone and told me I would hear back from her either today or Thursday. Totally unacceptable. It shouldn’t take 2 weeks and 2 people to “look into” the shipping status of an item. So sad that we’re still waiting for the floor after almost 2 months from our order date and are being given the run-around. COVID or not, this unprofessional.Update: Was told on 7/16 that our floor had not yet shipped and would likely be back in stock next week (despite being told several times that the order had shipped). Instead of an apology, I was “thanked for my patience” and told that the supply chain was “brutal” because of Covid. I have lost all hope for receiving my item at this point and would not recommend doing business with this dishonest company.Update 2: was contacted later on the 16th and told by Jay that I would receive the missing item and would be refunded. No refund yet, but I have finally received the missing item.
I am appalled with the customer service at CapeCod Shower Kits. I placed an order on July 2nd, was charged that day and since then have been told NUMEROUS times that the order should be shipping out within a day or two. It’s August 5th and still no shower and all I have received is lies.Last Friday during the 5th phone call I have made to check on the order that was apparently in stock ready to ship, I was told some of the rocks were not in stock. Fine, I picked a different size and was told the order would ship within a few days. I received a call from the shipping company and delivery would be today.Side note, yesterday I received a call from a man who wanted to know if I had received the rocks because “he was in the area and could drop them off.” I live in NH. Completely confused I said we had our shipment scheduled.Today only the rocks were delivered. My husband called and was basically brushed off and told “COVID has made our business hard.”Is this a joke? What type of business are you running? Do you honestly not care about your customers? I have been more than understanding considering the lack of communication regarding the delay but now I’m done.Have tried calling and emailing and no response.
Chris and the other two sales associates could not have been nicer! Their knowledge of the product was spot on. Their suggestions for our purposes were excellent!!!We were in a time crunch for the outdoor shower ensemble....not only were they able to pull it off, but delivery was even one day earlier than expected. Would highly recommend their Harwich location warehouse on Depot Rd.
