He swore at me right when I walked in the door. Gave a negative comment on my bike and went through it with a fine comb for an inspection. I was looking for someone to do work on it in the future since I just bought it. Not him.
Complete and total douchebags! Avoid these pathetic losers, extremely annoying, rude and uninformed. Drive the extra distance, and you will be that much better off!
Scott did a great job on my Multistrada. New fluids, tires, brakes, chain. He was very clear on what he will and will not work on, including going to a dealer for Desmo valve service. Did a 2000 mile ride after picking up the bike, no issues. Great shop, Ill be back.
Scott Hardy is a very good mechanic, and he is honest. Those two traits are difficult to find. His shop is small and he is independent, so don’t expect fancy appointment technology or a big inventory of parts. But he knows what he is doing, and will be honest about your bike and his approach to repairing or maintaining it.
Not sure of Scotts mechanical abilities but he needs an attitude adjustment. He refused to do an inspection nor make an appointment for one because I dont shop there. Im my own wrench and know every nut and bolt on my bike. Maybe MA should revoke his inspection license.
Get your attitude in check buddy.
Honest nice and dependable
Got a flat on my way to cape, Scott was able to set me up with a rear the next morning. Really saved my buns since this is my only means of transportation.
Scotts a really nice guy. Took good care of me.
Bought a used 2003 Honda Shadow and brought to Scott for inspection. He pointed out several repairs that needed to be done including new tires which I thought were ok but he showed me some micro cracks in the treads. We went over the needed parts in a catalog and picked out the best ones for me and he gave me a very reasonable estimate.I brought the bike home until I was ready to make the repairs. Covid-19 hit and I couldnt get it back to him for a few months so my wife and I took it out for several rides locally. One day something didnt feel right so I turned around and brought the bike home. We checked the tires and sure enough there were new cracks all over the outter edge of both of them. I brought it back to Scott finally for the repairs. He kept his estimate and told me that the rear tire was blown out and I was very fortunate not to have gone down. I feel Scott is a very fair and honest man who tells you how it is. He keeps your safety in mind and his work is outstanding. A true professional. I trust my bikes safety after a repair at this shop.
Called on a Monday in June to schedule motorcycle inspection. Was asked when I could come in. I said any morning this week. He scheduled me for the following Monday - business is that busy? Maybe, I suppose. Since I had to make a trip that week, I took care of the inspection in Hyannis, as I wanted to avoid any hassle with an expired sticker. I called back on the appointment date to tell him I had taken care of the inspection due to my trip off Cape. I felt this was the professional, courteous thing to do. He asked Did you have it done in Hyannis? I said yes. He said, Can you do me a favor? Can you do your inspection there next year? I am HAPPY to do so, since dealing with a bad tempered wrench twister doesnt really thrill me. And Ill be sure to tell all my friends in the motorcycling world to avoid this place, too.
Every time Ive dealt with the guy Ive gotten an attitude, so I guess Ill look elsewhere, and my partner had pretty much the same experience. All my old-school co-workers like the guy, so maybe he just has a thing against young riders, or they gravitate towards people who give people the same attitude they do. And his clock is a few minutes fast. Previously claimed that he would have been out of inspection stickers if Id had work Id called and asked about done elsewhere, then magically had them when I said I did the work myself. $300+ to mount and balance tires is twice what I paid for them in the first place, and a third of what I paid for that whole bike, so yeah I did it myself. If you do actually get him to do a sticker, bring exact change since he wont break a twenty and pockets the extra 5 bucks, too.
Best bike mechanic on the Cape!!! Highly Recommend!!!
Very unprofessional. He refused to do an inspection sticker because I dont bring my bike there to be worked on. I told him that I work on my bike myself and he didnt like that. So he refused service. Do not give this man your money
Motorcycle repairs are done here.
Scotts great. Ive never had an issue with him being rude. Hes always nice and fixes my bike in the time frame he gives me. He told me I needed a new tire which he promptly fixed and now it handles awesome! He was right. He was looking out for my safety, not his bottom line.
Worst shop
Junky little shop run by some clueless dude. Brought bike in for inspection and was told to come back tomorrow because he was about to change a tire or something.
Nice shop, nice owner. I get my annual inspections here. I havent needed major work on my bike yet (its a thumper) but when do Im bringing it here.
Scotts a great mechanic. Knows his stuff and wont take advantage of you. Works on everything from Harleys to Hondas.
Just bought my first bike from Scott last week. He was very helpful with the process, the bike was in excellent condition, and I got a great deal. Scott even picked me up from Hyannis when I went to pick it up. Would highly recommend.
Scott know his bikes. Thanks for the help.
Knowledgeable and up beat with good service and advice.New and used goodies on hand.Long standing in the local motorcycle community.
Good guy, only friendly motorcycle mechanic on the Cape. His hourly rate is low also. Plus he gives great deals on used motorcycles.
I stopped at every bike shop I could find on the Cape to have a high performance car tire mounted onn my 06 Stratoliner 1900. I did my research. Common practice referred to as going darkside. No one would touch it, said it would never seat on the bead. Well, he said hed give a try but wasnt hopeful. Popped right on no problem. Loving it. Thanks brother.
Went in for inspection sticker, he exaggerats the condition of tires, probably to sell you his inventory. Very rude demeanor, closed the door on me after disagreeing with him, guess he got scared, haha, good luck with this one. Not alot of options on cape for stickers, but rather travel over the bridge and get professional service..
Excellent service like usual, very fair prices and does great work great guy to know
Known Scott for years, trust him with any repair. Helped me with everything from tires and inspections to a used bike thats better than new.
Good wrench. Tells you the estimate & if its under thats the price. 3 bikes 20 yrs.
This guy will rip you off. knows nothing about scooters. will break parts and not tell you. very bad person
Excellent service delivered on time and at estimated cost. My trusted source for motorcycle advice, information and repairs.
I was terated with so much kindness, I was sick and did not know it, they could see it, gave me water and a seat. Got home thanks to them !
Made appointment, waited a week, dropped off bike, waited another week, and then Scott seems to have lost interest in fixing my bike, so I picked it back up.(He is PISSED!) If you use this guy, you probably have to be a local he knows or something, otherwise be ready for excuses and waiting.
Very rude, has no interest of customers thoughts and opinoins
