I kinda came in with a rush job, need my suit tailored. The wonderful ladies at spool house helped me out. And within a few weeks got my suit back and in time for the wedding! Also very well priced !

Finest seamstress around and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Some years ago Delores salvaged enough material from my wedding dress (that survived a fire) to make two beautiful baptismal gowns for my two granddaughters.

Dolores does excellent work tailor fitting clothes. I have had her work on pants, shirts, dresses and jackets. Always happy with the results.

Slow service and poor communication. I needed alterations done on two of my sport coats. Since I believe in supporting local businesses, I decided to call The Spool House to inquire about their services. I called in to explained the work I needed done. The individual on the other end of the line told me she was with a customer at the moment but would call me back shortly. I left my name and call back number, and I rang off. Two hours later, when I still had not received a call back, I decided it would be easier to simply go to the Spool House and speak to them in person. The lady agreed to work on my coats and told me they were running behind, but they would be done within 2-3 weeks. This sounded reasonable, so I waited.After 4 weeks, I had not heard anything, so I called to inquire about the progress of the job. She told me that she had not started on them yet, but would have them done in 1 more week.I called in again at the end of week 5 to find my coats had still not been touched. At this point, I told them to just forget about the job. I picked up my coats and took my business elsewhere. I was very disappointed as they made no effort to contact me to explain that the job would take longer than expected. It seemed they did not care and had no desire to do the job. I have gotten tax returns back faster than this! Thankfully they did not require me to pay up front, so I lost nothing other than my time.
