This is my husband and my second home! We go at least once a week! They have a really neat selection from produce to meats and cheese to the furniture and home goods! They can run out of items fast, but its a bargain hunt every time, and once you get a hang of when they restock its really no problem. They have such great prices !

I love the prices of the food here. I am not necessarily a brand name shopper and just appreciate being able to get decent food and saving some money.I prefer organic when I can get it and they have quite a few options.They have some great deals on clever and useful things that I enjoy poking through, too.They are really easy to get to when youre coming from Morehead City heading west. When youre coming from Newport direction heading East on 70 you just have to watch for the turn to the first driveway so you dont miss and have to turn around and come backup.

They had a lot to choose from. Prices were good.

My 1st visit to Lidl. Very impressive. Great prices on areas I looked at. In my past, I lived in Europe for three years. The German & Spain foods available here are awesome. I strongly recommend this place.

Im starting to realize this is about my 6th trip to the supermarket prices are not any cheaper then going to Walmart at least wood Walmart you would walk out with a name brand rather than some off-brand product price the same. I bought one bag of groceries mainly fruits and vegetables and it cost me $47 I think I could have come out better by going to Walmart.

This place was amazing! Fresh produce, great prices, a good selection of wine and cheese. Black grapes for $0.99# blown away! 😳 Ill be back!

Sadly, this Lidl will be closing the 2nd week in September and will be missed. Both Lidl and Aldi have been cost-effective alternatives to the major grocery chains, but we fear that shortly well be reduced to shopping at Hairless Tweeter - SIGH!

This is a cool grocery store. A lot like Aldi but bigger with more stuff! Wish there was one near me. Id shop there all the time! Watch for the sales items and stock up! 👍

It was spotless and very well organized. The prices are similar to that of Aldis (lowest in the area that Ive found) I will continue to shop here.

The cashier that was working this morning is so so Nice, an she knows her job they need to have her train the other cashiers for other nearby stores..... I was there at 8:30am I dont know the ladys name but thank you just for being you. U made my day that much better.... You have a lovely accent as well

I like this store for some things. Their veggies are way better than Wal-Mart. They have some international items that are really cool, but tbh there is not a huge variety of items. Plus, you have to bring your own shopping bags or you can pay for them at the register.

A nice, bright and airy place to shop. Lots of organic produce and gluten free bread. Meats are really nice cuts and I especially like how the steaks are individually vacuum sealed. No risk of freezer burn here ! Prices are amazing. Just dont forget to bring your own bags or else you can purchase for 10 cents.

We love Lidl! The food is very reasonably priced, produced is wonderful, and we always love to see what they have in the middle bins. I can usually find things there for crafting, especially for Christmas.

Love shopping here! I save so much money and I know the options are generally healthier. The more things you have that are gluten, canola and soy free the better! I mostly buy fresh items but sometimes I need Staples like salad dressings

Of all things the bakery here is amazing. Prices on essentials is unbeatable. They also sell interesting items from around the world. If you see somthing you might like, grab it. It might not be there tomorrow.

Really liked the store. Had to get use to bringing my own bags after I have purchased them, but for only 10cents for reusable bags is a very fair price. Prices are very good, and the store brand products are just as good as national brands.

I love this store! If you arent a label snob, you will get more bang for your buck for your groceries! Many of the items are half what you pay in grocery chains, department super stores, even the commissary! You have to bring your own bags or purchase from them and bag your own groceries, but what you save makes it worth it!

Wonderful place, sort of a even more discounted Trader Joe with Walmart prices. Wonderful selection of European food, wines and beers. And their non food “surprises” that range from power tools to motorcycle helmets to beauty tools are always a great bargain and top quality.

Discount Grocery store that offers a variety of rotational and standard stock of 90% house brands. Sales rotate twice weekly and provide a unique way to find what you want.The store overall is very clean, simple and comfortable. I have been able to get in and out quickly without having to search for one item over 5 mins.Additionally, I have been able to get food for my family at an extremely good price. Been able to cut my food cost in half. Thank you!

The best prices and overall value on produce, frozen foods and wines. Hands down, no other store can beat their prices. They have a little bit of everything and most of the items are off brand. Clothing, home, exercise equipment, gardenning, tools, arts and crafts, its all there, But, the advertise deals come into the store at very low quantities. They are meant to draw foot traffic, so If you see something on the shopper that you really want or need, you must go to the store early on the day the sale starts, because they have very low quantities.

So far I have been very pleased with the quality and prices but unfortunately my shopping trips have been very short and focused. Walking is very difficult for me due to back and breathing issues. Just one trip down each aisle will have me nearly ready for tears by the time I make it back to my vehicle. Lidl does no provide power carts, and since I shop alone, the strain of trying to navigate their wheelchair shopping carts is even more strenuous and painful than the walking. Other than the necessity to make such small trips, with specific focus of what I want so I can get in and out before its overly painful, it is a definite plus to our budget.

Love the selection of non-standard brands. Love the competitive prices, especially their organic stuff. I think the prices are partly because they are trying to undercut Walmart. Hope they dont go up too much...

The 5Stars are for Lidl! We regularly shop at the Raleigh and Wake Forest stores and have pleasant experiences but this was our first visit in the Havelock Store. The customer service of cashier Trish was unpleasant. No welcome when I approached the register. As my partner who is of a different race joined me at the cash register, there was a warm welcome. I heard the person after us also receive the same welcome. This saddened me to witness this on the eastern part of NC.

What they have this week, will be pretty much gone the next week or month. Son if you find something you really like, go back and stock up.

Fresh produce, specialty items, shelves always stocked, very clean and wide aisles. Very clean bathroom. Bakery with fresh baked breads, muffins, cookies all types of baked goods. LIDL has weekly mark downs but they also have daily markdowns.On my most recent visit a sign was advertise for a certain price, in produce but it was incorrect in the system and I was over charged. So I asked a sale associated about the price and he literally ran to check the price and speak with his manager and he corrected the price and apologized.

The sale prices are never the same at the register. There is only one clerk of with an all but friendly demeanor at the register. The quality of the products are great, however the customer service is horrible. I have been in the store several times with a line and only one clerk. Its as if everyone else is in hiding. Prefer Walmart, even if I have to pay more.

Very clean, never too busy, and always very cold. Have to bring your own bags or you gotta buy them. Makes the price differences negligible unless you plan on only shopping there or go green.

I go to Lidl for the produce but usually fine other good deals. They do carry several gluten free choices.

Prices are competitive with Wal-Mart and the quality of their store brand products is leagues above Wal-Mart. Checkout can be a little slow as they usually have one lane open so try to avoid peak times. Selection can be narrow but who really needs 30 brands of peanut butter? Be sure to bring your own bags or buy the reusable ones there as they do not have the disposable plastic bags. Wine selection is excellent, more than I could try in 2 lifetimes.

They really need a self checkout or keep 2 registers open. People who just want to buy a couple of things have a long wait. As much as I dislike Walmart I will pop over to shop because I dont like the wait.
