I’ve ordered several items over the last few years, and I’m extremely happy with all purchases. I actually appreciate not having sales people hovering over me when I’m browsing- when I had questions or needed help, someone would come over. I was able to select custom fabric and colors for my sofa and chairs, and was very pleased with the quality. I constantly receive complements on the furniture, and I have returned several times to purchase other items. My only complaint is the high prices, but I was able to find items within my budget all the same. I will continue to shop here when I need new furniture, and I recommend them to others.

If I ever receive the custom Basset furniture I paid a fortune for, I’m hoping the quality is so amazing it makes up for the lack of customer service and common courtesy. Was told, at the time of purchase, November 2020, due to COVID delivery would be 8-10 weeks. Fine. Things are crazy right now. However, 11.5 weeks later I had to call to ask about ETA. I was told they’d have to check and would call me back. 5 hours later, just before closing time, I had to call back. I was told then, they had just discovered there was no news about my furniture; they would have to call the manufacturer Monday and would definitely call me then. You guessed it, no call Monday. I called back Tuesday. They just found out the furniture is ready, but was headed to a warehouse to wait, likely for them to ship the cheapest possible way, and hopefully that would ONLY be two to three more weeks. Hoping this warehouse isn’t inhabited by bugs and rats. Guess I’ll be calling back soon because I’m confident no one is concerned about my satisfaction after I paid them.Definitely would not recommend if you expect good customer service.

First impressions are that this is a quality store, but that is far from the truth. A few years back we purchased a dinning room table and chairs and at the time we were told they were real wood and made in the USA... turns out that was all lies! We recently went to resurface the table and it’s garbage. They say a picture is worth 1000 words... you decide. But I will never shop here again.It may have been assembled in the USA but definitely not made here.

We bought leather sofa and recliner ~ great customer service and delivery service. They were prompt and care was taken so as not to damage on entering home. We’re enjoying our new seating and couldn’t be happier with it.We’ll definitely return when in need of other home furnishings.

We went to try out Flexsteel recliners and they had an excellent selection. Jim was helpful and attentive, answering our questions about fabrics, special order, and delivery times. We placed the order with a modest downpayment and 7 weeks later the chair arrived. Beautiful and extremely comfortable!

Walked into the store, no one said a word to me. Walked around for about 20 minutes looking at kitchen table sets. I found 2 that I wanted to discuss with a salesperson. There was only 1 other customer in the store. I had passed by salespeople several times, no one spoke. I asked an office lady for help, she went to tell someone and came back several minutes later and said someone would be coming to help me. I waited another 10 minutes or so and finally left. As I was leaving a yelled to the office, Thanks for no help at all. The table set that I wanted would have been about 3 thousands dollars and maybe I would just order it online. An older lady then came running out the front door and asked if I would give her a second chance. Youve got to be kidding. Will not be back.

I have been shopping at Wells Wayside for almost 20 years. I LOVE their service and their furniture lines. Im not sure what the issue was with the past employee, however if you want to be taken seriously, you should try to be accurate. Saying that their furniture is low quality is NOT accurate.I have friends that have traveled here from NY to buy furniture at Wells Wayside because they got enough of a discount to make it worth their while. And there is no delivery to NY.They carry the TOP manufacturers brands and one look at either their website or their showroom should confirm that.I do know they are committed to customer service and probably expect very high standards from employees and may not be the place for just anyone to work.It certainly IS the place to shop if you want customer service and exceptional quality furniture.LJ Southerland

I purchased a loveseat and sofa set over 4 weeks ago. Before I ordered the product I asked if they had it in stock and the sales manager told me they did. They ended up only bringing out a sofa because the loveseat was ripped. So my new loveseat finally comes in. They bring it out and ask me to look it over, I suspect because they knew it had defects that I wouldnt like. It had ink pen marks on it, as well as scratches in the leather that appeared white, and separation of the leather. The delivery driver said the manager called it cow licks, so they knew that there was some defects in the material. I dont care if it does have cow licks. The floor model didnt have cow licks and they shouldnt even attempt to deliver a product that isnt exactly what I ordered. So now I wait another 4-6 weeks for a new loveseat and hope that it doesnt have defects. I spoke with the manager, which I later found out was the owner. If the new loveseat has defects they will order another and I wait 4-6 weeks for that one. So I am at their mercy and just have to wait another 4-6 weeks. I have family coming in town and only have 1 sofa in my living room. This is not acceptable.
