Over the last two years, since I moved to L.A. from Colorado, I have used ProTech several times to keep my Pathfinder running after 337,000 miles. Their work was spot on and my SUV runs almost like new. They have immense knowledge of Toyota and Nissan engines. I would go back in a heartbeat.

You should be warned if you bring your car here, you will be overcharged and it will cost you big bucks the second you step foot in the place.I brought in a basic American car that was leaking fluid, they told me that I needed a new water pump and it would cost $250 for the part and $300 for labor. Obviously I found many places willing to do it much cheaper, but when I went to pick up the car, they charged me $125 for diagnosing the problem. They said they would reimburse half that amount if I had the work done there. I paid the extortion fee to get my car back, still leaking fluid and dangerous to drive, then I had it fixed at a reputable mechanic and it still cost less than the price Stewart quoted, even after the $125 I lost by ever going to Pro Tech in the first place. I try to support my local businesses whenever I can and Im very sad to have to leave a negative comment for this place but it would make me more sad to see somebody else lose money like I did just to get an overpriced estimate from this company.

This crook Stewart claims he fixed my truck, turns out he did NOTHING. .....Paid him, and refused to repair his mistakes. Go somewhere else, save your heartache.
