Yesterday morning I ordered GrubHub to get food from you how ever I order Taylor ham egg and cheese on a everything bagel end it was all bagel barely know meat then the other sandwich what is the same way and that was a bacon egg and cheese but anyway only thing that was winning was the cappuccino is off the hook these two sandwiches would’ve been good if they have more meat thank you

I havent gone to Bagel Express for a few monthes and decided to order from them today. Completly blown away by the poor quality. The bagels taste different. Did the ownership change? I pray today was just an off day because this was truly the best place within a 50 mile radius for a LONG time.....

Always a great meal from Bagel Express. My go-to local bagel spot. My daily order is a Spinach Egg and Cheddar omelette with an everything bagel toasted with butter and a large coffee. Every day the meal satisfies my hunger (after an overnight shift at work typically) and it keeps me coming back time and time again.The owner, Frank, is a true gentleman and a very great person to talk to every day, the staff is great and very professional and make you want to come back time and time again.10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area looking for good breakfast TAKEOUT (No dining space inside so you must account for that and take it to go)

Honestly, I’m disappointed to say that this was the worst bagel I’ve ever had.. and I’m a Jersey girl so I’ve had a TON of bagels. I was recommended to come to Bagel Express by a friend who was familiar with the area so I took his word for it. I ordered a Taylor ham, egg and cheese and a hash brown.. the bagel was hard and my sandwich was made super quick, but came out cold. The hash brown was burnt and tasted like straight oil. I’ve had Bagel Emporium in Midland Park prior to this and their food is 100x better than this, but I wanted to try something new. The customer service was okay at Bagel Express, but I figured it was because the food was so good and they were busy. Turns out the food was not good at all and made without a care in the world.

Not sure what the other reviewer was talking about regarding masks and gloves but Ive seen the staff always wearing them when Ive come here. The coffees a little weak and the bagels are just okay. The owner though is very nice.

If you want fresh bagels. They have FRESH bagels!

I am new to the area and I first order from here through GRUBHUB and I got my order in less than 10 minutes, I was so surprised and the elderly man who delivered it was very sweet and gave me some menus. Now, the next day I called it in and same the food is delicious, fresh, and HOT upon arrival. My new spot, I rather give a higher tip than pay GRUBHUB so Ill be calling in my orders from here on out, so happy I found yous! Your friendly new neighbor =)

Place was packed to the gills, with no enforcement of social distancing and several people in there seemingly just hanging out. Owner was there, didnt care to enforce state rules or have a system in place for organization. This is why covid is exploding in Hawthorne.

I come here occasionally because I live right by and their coffee is great . The owner is a very nice man and USUALLY I never have an issue . But, today I did . A younger woman with light brown hair, lighter skinned and I believe a nose piercing, was giving me so much attitude . I don’t understand what I had done to be treated this way. She was much nicer to the gentleman before me . Then, I asked for two coffees and got immediate attitude. She wouldn’t even look at me . Once my bagel was done, she threw it in the box and walked away without saying anything . I felt disrespected and I don’t want to come back here . I’m only rating it three stars for the coffee and the other young women that usually work here don’t treat me this way.

I live 2 towns over so I’ve never been there in person but I order them on uber eats sometimes when I’m at work or home and want some quick breakfast and they never disappoint. Great breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

This place is good, but the employees weren’t all wearing face masks, and they aren’t requiring the customers to wear them. I was the only one in there with a mask on! Love this place, but I won’t be going back. I don’t really want COVID on my bagel, sorry! Just not safe.

Last night was the first time we visited this fine restaurant. But It is definitely not the last time. We had great time with the efficient service, with the superb food and booze and with the decent payment. We will no doubt return there soon.

Friendly service at the counter, but my Taylor Ham was burnt to a crisp (black charcoal except for a small quarter sized circle in the center.). I would have returned it, but had already left and didn’t have the time to go back. Basically inedible.

I wish we could give them 10+ stars because they deserve it. Our office staff orders from them on a daily basis, literally! These guys ALWAYS do a great job with their food and it shows by the way the food tastes. DELICIOUS! seriously if you are EVER in the area you have to stop and grab something to eat. What makes it even better is the staff is super friendly and always caters to our needs. A+++

I used to go there in the morning they have good coffee but their bagels are the worst around theyre always hard and dry his sandwiches are not consistent you should open it and look inside before you eat it especially if theres tomato on it he likes using the heel or the top thats not fit for eating, and if you order something I like two eggs over easy with a hash brown it all comes in one container in the toast and everything is all greasy by the time you open it its not fit for eating you noticed I use that term twice already

Bagel Express never lets me down. Their bagels are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Their taylor ham is sliced to perfection. The coffee is really the best. I get it light and sweet with cream and the owner knows exactly when I walk in the door what my order will be. Its really a friendly environment and there are always people talking and having a good time in there. Everyone knows each other. Its a really warm and welcoming place.

Just visited this place. It is a nice clean shop. The only and most important thing I observed was that the lady I ordered my food did not bother to put on glove while handling my food,and it was not hot food. They should be more careful about sanitation since its a food business.

I have ordered from this place numerous times because its local and the food and prices are decent. However I always have an issue with every order. Today we placed an order and this was the delivery ticket that came with my order. It doesnt contain the delivery instructions my wife wrote for this order where She specified to leave our order on our porch. The driver obviously cant see my delivery instructions so the driver called my wife several times to say she was outside waiting for us to get the order. This is extremely an inconvenience. How can any driver understand this ticket? Also the back of the delivery ticket Contained info from another client. They compromised another clients home & tel info without a care in the world. Are they that busy & thrifty that they have to recycle paper? They also use black marker on the tin foil to write specs of orders which the ink can seep into the food. My wife called them directly to say the order was incomplete and the young lady didnt apologize for the inconvenience. She said we could either call Uber or wait a long time to have the sandwich delivered to us. She stated they were very busy and she couldnt give us an estimated delivery time but that it would be delivered. We waited about 25-30 mins and called to ask for a delivery status, the same young lady said that the order wasnt a priority because they were too busy. I said they should have made it a priority bc they messed up. I asked to speak to the owner or a manager and I heard her speaking to someone saying that I was asking for the owner and mentioned someone named Frank. The other person said is that the order from Uber and the lady driver? She said yes. The other person said we are busy so tell him to complain to Uber! She then hung up on me. I called back and asked why she hung up and her reply was oh I thought you had hung up. I then said ok thank you and hung up. What a horrific experience. Business owners need to be present at their establishments or hire people who care about the businesses reputation!

Everyone there was friendly and the service was quick and the bagels were pretty good. The bagels are a little more dense and hard than some, but they were really good.

Ordered a Taylor Ham, Egg & Cheese On a Onion Bagel. Service was polite. Got to my destination to enjoy my breakfast to only find 2 very thin slices of Taylor ham and a overdone egg. Extremely disappointed! Onion Bagel itself wasnt bad.
