Helpful Staff - Great place to shop

Becky was so helpful! I had no idea what length of screws I needed. She took the time to listen to what my project was and estimate what I needed. I couldn’t be more impressed or thankful.

Staff is always helpful and they usually have what I need or can order it for me.

Found duct tape and customer service was helpful with telling us where to get plexiglass for a window. Customer service people were also polite.

Awful place. The manager fired someone on disability for not being able to work full time. Pretty sure thats discrimination and is illegal. As a customer always expect to never find what you need because they dont have enough inventory on hand.

Very friendly staff. I always enjoy coming to ace some things are a little more money but your supporting locals and the customer service more than compensates for the difference in cost and they usually have those odd tools no one else has which had been a life saver for me.

A few years ago this was my go to hardware store . then came the remodel cutting off 25% of the store and they never did totally restock the shelves, there usually only half stocked and seldom have the items that I go in for. yesterday I went in for a medium quality 50ft garden hose, they had 3 hoses total. one 10ft cheapo. and two 100ft hoses that were about 50$ each.Im done wasting my time with Hayden Ace.

Only place in town that had the irrigation fittings and tubing I needed! Employees were very fast and helpful couldnt ask for more.

Unfortunately ace is supposed to be the place you go for help getting the little or big things you need you pay alittle more to have help well almost every time i go in there i end up helping another customer because there teenage staff knows nothing and its always the same kids so its not there fault obviously the lack of training is real

Ive shopped there to support locally own and operated businesses during Covid pandemic. Today I went in, was told mask is mandatory, I told them I had a medical exemption, they said no mask, no entry. Ill no longer shop there. Ill go to Home Depot where I can shop without hurting myself with a mask on.

Whenever I go into the Hayden Idaho Ace Hardware, I am always treated with such kindness! They are so very helpful! It truly is a neighborhood store; a much better experience than a big-box place In fact, I was just looking for their phone number online to order the wax that they were out of stock on. I want to get it there so I dont need to go anywhere else, even though the clerk gave me the name of several other locations I could probably pick it up. Top Notch- definitely deserve the 5 stars!

I struggled to get a key for my sion, they didnt have one in stock at the time so I had to order one and when I brought it in after it was made I put it in the ignition and it didnt work :( being pregnant i got so emotional and went back in and John was amazing and was able to find a key in the store that fit my car and re cut a key, I was really embarrassed for crying in the store cuz crazy hormones! The customer service was amazing and I didnt leave the store tell my key turned in my ignition!!! Thank you Ace Hardaway for caring so much about customers !!

It was an Early closing sign I missed going into Ace Hardware in the Hayden Plaza, dropping off keys; while I got groceries nearby. Your great staff waited & made a valiant attempt to find me in both the parking lot and the local grocery. They were “doing great customer service “ about an extra half hour on a day meant for family. They were gracious (sorry did not get names but two ladies; who worked til close New Year’s).Ace is the place for helpful hardware WOMEN.Thanks ladies!

Wonderful staff. Extremely helpful.They have the worst inventory control one can imagine. ALWAYS out of stock !!Really need to get a handle on this issue.So bad that if you need anything right now then you have to drive to Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Very low stock on basically all items. Plenty of employees, but none could help me find the rubber cement which they were out of stock. Worth the drive to Home Depot

This has been my favorite store in the county for years! Wide selection of everything but groceries and if they started selling that Id buy them there too.Excellent knowledgeable staff that are friendly, helpful and know me by name.Prices are fair and comparable to the big box box stores and if they dont have something they find it and order it for me.Ruth, Addie and Scott have been there for years and have more knowledge of their trade than ANYONE youll ever find at a Home Depot or Lowes.Truly a class act.

Grew tired of trudging though the box stores trying to find what I needed to finish projects and unable to find help or seeing those employees not make eye contact and head the other way... Customer service here is excellent and prices are comparable. This is the one of the best stores around!

Great experience with this Ace Hardware in Hayden which was in stark contrast to the Ace Hardware in Coeur d’Alene. Everyone went out of their way to help me and anyone else who came in. I noticed when the key line was a little long, the cashier jumped off and came to help. Great place for all our hardware needs.

The staff at Ace Hardware in Hayden are phenomenal. They have helped me with filters paint all sorts of projects they take the time and listen and are incredibly helpful I highly recommend this team

This place has wonderful knowledgeable hometown service but is in major shortage of staff when busy. Made 2 trips today with 1 register open the first sunny Saturday in April. Very frustrating. Over 20 minutes waiting to check out.

Its a smaller Ace, so theres not as large of a selection, and they sell out of things. The staff is great though, very knowledgeable and helpful.

So i havent visited this place for at least a couple of years because of previous poor experiences...but it is right around the corner and i am landscaping my backyard this year so thought id stop by...what a mistake! I see a guy at a register finishing up with a customer so i go to get next in line. Im buying a ph test kit and going to buy a few nice trees they have out back..anyway this guy looks at me then points to another cashier and said hes open over there. Normally im the type of guy to cause a scene..but so not worth my time. I put the test kit down and walked out. There was no reason (none at least explained to me) why this guy couldnt help me. I just watched him ring up another customer. So dont waste your time here. Go to walmart across the street.
