Staff was very friendly and helpful in finding exactly what I was looking for. She even noticed that I had grabbed two skeins of yarn from different batches and hunted down a matching batch color!They have a great selection of yarn for knitting or crocheting, including alpaca wool and unique colors/brands.

My new favorite yarn & quilt store! Besides having my 2 favorite obsessions in one place, the ladies are always sweet & helpful. Great range of fabrics & wonderful yarns! I misjudged the amount of mohair I needed for a project, called them & the needed yarn was on my needles in just a couple days!Thank you Ladies of the Cottage. I wish you werent 6 hours away. Ill be back soon!

Staff friendly and helpful. I was passing through and chose this shop to stretch my legs since I am a quilter. I bought a quilt kit and some fabric. They also carried knitting supplies. But since I am not a knitter I wasnt tempted in this department. All in all it was a good experience.

Bought material from different quilt shops along the route of our vacation to make a quilt. Only needed 2 more fabrics before we got home. Went in with my other fabrics and the staff assisted me with a smile and expert knowledge. Thank you for a great experience.

I walked in for the first time this afternoon and started looking around. A group of people were knitting and visiting, which seemed nice. However, no one greeted me, offered to help me, or thanked me as I left (there were no other customers walking around). Im not a local, and was just passing through, but I like visiting yarn shops on my travels and checking products out to add to my yarn stash. I was a bit surprised there was not much friendliness here in western KS.

Easy to find off I-70, lots of room to park RV. Fantastic staff, beautiful selection of solids, holiday, kids and batiks! Highly recommended. We stopped on our way cross country.

This is the friendliest little quilt shop you could ever want to visit, they were so helpful. Next time Im in town Ill visit them again. Its well worth your time to stop in and visit with these kind folks.

Me and my 2 daughters went in to quilt cottage in Hays Kansas, and I wanted to take a picture of this quilt I was going to buy, well they told me they dont allow pictures taken in there store. OK well I didnt take any more and even offer to delete the picture,Next we was looking around and they kept following us like we was going to steal there fabric, and the girls was getting tried of it so they went outside, one of my daughters was going to buy some fabric and she told me she changed her mind,OK.And they came back in and the lady said to themmay I help you again being very rude about it. All the people that work there were very rude to my girls, and did not find out about it until after we left and they were rude to me following me around, I did not buy the quilt that I was wanting to buy sorry to say we will never go back there again.

Been two years since I went here.... we was looking around....mom wanted a book, I wanted fabric....had mom hold my fabric and went outside to get my cash....came back in and they were very rude....I pit the fabric back and went to Walmart instead. They don’t want u to look around.
