Ive purchased over 8 refrigerators for my small business and decided to purchase the 9th, which came with a huge dent. I called multiple times, sent out emails, pictures and videos and I finally got an answer from them: THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR, PIECE, AND DELIVERY. how unacceptable is that. 0 compassion for clients and 0 compassion for small business owners.

Be very careful. We purchased, at a total cost of $5000, a SABA refrigerator and freezer. The refrigerator stopped cooling within 6 months. We made this purchase from Home Depot. SABA would not stand by its one year warranty because we purchased this for and installed it in our home. We purchased it from HOME Depot. So, we were on our own after spending $5K with them. Be very careful of their very, very fine print and unhelpful CS.

However, SABA went above and beyond, maintaining constant communication while they worked out the best solution!!! SABA seriously want to make the customer happy!!!!! If I could give a zero I would. I own a restaurant and purchased a Saba oven. Within 6 months it needed repair. I called in our rep from the Gas Company to look at it. He told me to call Saba to tell them what was wrong. The oven was under warranty so I should not have to pay for it. I called Saba and sent them the information on the repair. They then asked me who looked at it. I told them the Gas Company. They then called my rep from the Gas Company and asked him to repair it. Well, the Gas Company fixed it, it took 3 months to get the correct part from Saba. What Saba forgot to mention was the Gas Company was going to bill me and SABA would NOT pay the repair bill. Very sad they would do this to a small business owner.

I purchased a Saba refrigerator and it has been awesome. Keeps all of my goods at the right temp. The one time i had to reset my temp due to a power outage i called customer service and the service team walked me right through it and called a few days later to check and see if the temp was still holding. Overall efficient unit with great customer service.

I posted one star because no one has invented the trash can rating system yet (they would definitely get the 5 trash can rating). I performed service repair work for SABA in November of 2018. Today is February 21, of 2019 and we have still not been paid for work performed at two separate locations. We were told today (3 months later) that one of the invoices would not be paid unless we accepted a lower amount of payment for the services performed. We did the work with the expectation of being payed in full. Is this how SABA Corp. does business? They are past due by 3 months. I will keep you all posted each month to let you know how SABA takes care of the bills. See you all next month.

My experience with Saba Corp has been very disappointing. The worst experience ever. I would not be buying any new equipment from this corporation. If I could give them no stars I would. They are not a very responsive company. You have to keep calling them if you need anything done.I own a stdd-27-69 unit. I bought the unit in Jan2017 to add it to my restaurant. It’s had issues from the start, not cooling down enough, for which they sent a technician out to fix. In dec 2018, the unit went down again. This time the issue was the compressor. I contacted saba corp and left a message in December 2018 . Even went online and filled out A form. After not hearing back from for about a month I called back again. After finally getting a hold of a service technician in Florida. they sent 4 different technician five different times to fix the unit. It’s taken them 5 months and yet not figured out what is wrong with the unit. They keep sending new compressors out which doesn’t fix the problem. Finally after the frustration of loosing money from not having a working beer unit. I asked the technician to transfer me to the manager or head of service department. After speaking with the manager sheina or shiana she stated she will get back to me, but did not. I had to call her back to follow up every time to follow up on the request. Finally she transferred me to the head of the service department, who was so rude from the time he got on the phone, that I had to disconnect the call when he would not listen to my concern. All he kept saying sir, sir here is the tracking number there is nothing more I can do for you.

***Update***The issue with the freezer is still not resolved. They keep giving me false promises as I wait for someone to come and fix it. I am hoping this will be resolved soon. The best move may be to buy a new freezer, have them come pick up this one, and hope that I can get reimbursed for the new one. My business is taking a hit due to this issue.This is my first time writing a Google Review of a company. About three weeks ago, I had a SABA freezer quick working properly, and it was only a year old. It would not get below 35 degrees F. After talking with the SABA representative in Lakeland, FL someone came out from a 3rd party repair company and checked to see what was wrong. They discovered there was a hole in one of the coils. I was told this was a warranty item. So, I asked when it could be fixed. I was told that SABA and this repair company would have to work out the details first, since it is warranty and the repair company has to make sure they are going to get paid. This was the start of what became three weeks of back and forth. Every 2-3 days I would reach out to the SABA representative to check on the status, and each time he would act like he had no idea what the problems were. I kept having to be the liaison between SABA and the repair company for SABAs warranty work. Every time I called I was told they were working on getting the part to the repair company. Note, they are located in Lakeland, and I am in Plant City, about 30 minutes away. Every time I call, it is the same story, I am going to get someone out there today or tomorrow, and every time no one shows up. So, I started contacting the repair company and they told me that the SABA representative had not been communicating with them about getting the part for my freezer, and they do not do work until SABA gets them the part and they know they will get paid (which is totally understandable). Last week, after I found out they never sent the repair company the part, I asked them to please go ahead and send it over. This was on Monday. On Thursday I called again and the SABA representative acted completely unaware and said that the part never was sent out. In that same time frame, my sandwich table refrigerator went out, and it was only 1 year old. I was told that it was a simple problem, and it got fixed within about 1 week. Several days later, it went out again. I am now sitting with a broken sandwich table and freezer and a company that does not seem to care about getting it fixed. I called last Friday and asked if someone could come on a Saturday, since it seemed I could never fit into their schedule, and they told me they do not like paying overtime, even after I have been without a fridge and a freezer for 3 weeks. However, he said he would get someone out here on Saturday. So, Saturday comes, and as I wait, no one shows up. So, when I called this morning, the representative told me that he couldnt get anyone out on Saturday. I asked him why I was not contacted (because I was waiting for someone to come because I was told they would come), and I was told that he just got busy and forgot to call. I say all this simply for people to know what this warranty issue has turned into. I am unsure what to do to get it fixed, but this has gone on far to long and I have lost a lot of food, time, and my business is being hindered because of it. This, and the fact that I am still down a refrigerator and freezer, is the reason for the 1 star review.
