I have been shopping at Food Source for many years and they have the best prices overall. The Staff is very friendly and I am proud to say that I am able to feed my family quality food at a lower price. Thanks Food Source for your many years of service to our community.

The place is good for fresh vegetables and fruits.There fruits and vegetables last long once I bring home.Cilantro and herbs the bestAlways fresh smells great.I recommend my friends to go there.

This place is inexpensive, but they dont have a huge selection of some things- being a large, warehouse store I expected more. The meat selection is especially slim. The saving grace is the employees and, believe it or not, other customers! Super friendly neighborhood.

It Has A Little Bit Of Everything, But Everything Isnt Always Where It Should Be... Its Never Been Crowded, So Its Easy To Get In And Out...

Just found out its going to be closing soon. Im so sad. Close to home and great deals. This was my go to grocery store....

Very well organized clean and stocked. Lots of good snacks and great steaks. I would post a picture but I already put $450.00 worth of food away. Cooked the steaks, mmm it was smacking!

The cashier lady that helped me was very nice. This store had what I needed. I needed a bukay of flowers. They were double the price of the same flowers at Walmart however.

This grocery store is the only one in its area that has all of your needs. Massive variety of food options and the lines are very speedy. Its usually more populated at the weekend so I would recommend going within the week to get in and get out fast.

Horrible, it’s now forth time we come all the way 5 miles but their water refill machine is out of service. When you ask cashier they say I don’t know. No one is responsive and they should put a big sign out so you don’t buy all other stuff and at the end you have to put it back because now I have to go to foodmax anyway.

Store is clean. Roomy.... when I am in area I always stop by.

It wasnt too much stuff in there and things that they did have in there was fine because they going out of business its closing down on June 4th is the last day

Nice Store Nice set up very organized and fresh produce ill come here again. I got a lot of stuff for and 4 bags of groceries for 75.00$ bucks

They had some decent prices but not a lot of selections. The store needs a little more lighting... But I gave an extra star for the staff... EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Nice store with good products & prices. However, it does carry better products, such as organic & better health choices. Other than that, it is one of a better manage stores in this category, much better than Food Max.

Theyre closing in June. Im sure with all the condos and apartments going up Im sure more options will be available very soon.

Love this store very much. Many Cal State students also shop here. GREAT SALES, and love the clearance cart!!!! Has most everything. BIG wide isles, bakery staff is wonderful. Manager is also helpful. Hoping all the new residents will help fill this store. Please give it a try, great special each week.

Easy parking, fresh veggies, organic choices, they have pretty much what you need. Oh, prices are reasonable. Happy shopping!

I would call out smaller version of Walmart/Safeway. Available fresh vegetables and fruits. Mostly all items are available. Clean floor and friendly staff

I visited the Food Source store on Mission Blvd in Hayward, CA with my wife today. There was a girl in front of us at the checkout counter with a few items, who apparently was either an employee or a friend of the checkout clerk (Anthony). They were chatting as we stood in line patiently. While there was another lady before this girl who had already paid but was still bagging her purchases.While we patiently waited in line allowing the lady to continue her bagging, the checkout clerk started telling us to move out of the way while we still had stuff on the belt that we were working fast as we could to bag. I told him to be patient and give us a little more time as we had more stuff and were bagging as fast as we can. He kept telling us no you have to move out of the way. I have never experienced such rudeness. Then i asked him, politely, sir please be patient give us a little time to bag dont rush us. He said, i am not rushing you i am just telling you to get out of the way. I said but that is the definition of rushing sir, to which he said NO THAT IS NOT RUSHING, RUSHING WOULD BE IF I TOLD YOU TO GET OUT OF MY STORE (OMG! really!). I said, i am sorry i dont think i heard you can you repeat it and he said the same thing in exactly the same rude tone.I said you know what I want to speak to your manager, he said I am the Manager, my name is Anthony if you want to make a complaint. I could not believe myself, i wondered why he was so rude to us and didnt rush the other lady. But than i thought about it, and realized his attitude was obviously motivated by the fact that my wife was wearing the headscarf.This is really sad, and i hope it is just that this person was a jerk, and this is not your organizations attitude. Strange world we live in now.

Good supermarket.The prices on produce, bakery, meats and fish are unbeatable. The quality is good and they have a decent variety. You not always find everything you need but its absolutely worth the trip considering the prices.The store is nice and clean, employees are helpful and friendly (fyi: you have to pack your shop)There is plenty parking space and I seem to always find a spot right by the entrance which is an amazing perk!

Good prices, cool selection (especially in international cuisine components like sauces and spices) but their produce has been a disappointment. The meat department is stacked with deals though :)

This store is nice except for its produce section. The produce section is small and they dont have much. Affordable like food max. I never had any issues with long lines here.4 stars because they dont carry a lot..

I need more items in this nice Store

I have never been here but my mom wanted me to get her eggs. So we stopped here after church. Very clean, bright, prices were good. The only downfall two checkout people on a Saturday afternoon :( The checkout lady that helped me was nice and bubbly even even with the long line.

I like this place a lot. This is not as busy as food maxx or other stores. Too bad it has a bad visibility from the mission Blvd. Many people I know did not even know this store is there. All in all good prices and decent options.

Its a good market very spacious and does have the needs that were short due to this pandemic, mi wife loves it .

Great prices. Amazing service especially in the meat department. However I think that they need to advertise more. If they did, they would have a lot more customers. I just have to say to the Meat Manager at the Food Source in Hayward Ca. is very polite and professional. Even when he was busy, he took the time to answer my questions. I totally forgot his name, but I will always remember that kindness that he showed mother and I. Thank you again Food Source for a amazing experience. Every worker I came into contact with was very helpful with a smile. Best service I have ever gotten at a grocery store.

Prices are good but choose the time to go wisely. Never enough checkers and you bag your own groceries. You give up some amenities but keep more money in your pocket.

Small store but its a great place to get fruit and vegetables. They always have great sale prices and low cost meat selection. The bakery rolls are fresh and sold individually for people like me who dont need 8 or 10 rolls at a time. Parking lot is not set up for full size trucks.

This store would never be my first choice for shopping, not very clean, and the shelves were pretty bare, maybe it was a bad time for them.

Great place to shop, used to come here as a child. Shelves look like they havent been cleaned since then too ! Wouldnt have known if it wasnt for coronavirus.... T-bone steaks lately also have been disappointing, the filet mignon side is slim to none, otherwise would be at least 4 star review

This store has gone downhill. The quality of produce is disgusting. I doubt ill be going back anytime soon.

This is for sure not Safeway! The only positive here is the prices, and Im sure most people who shops here are looking for lowest possible groceries bill. A good place to pick up a few food items.

Clean store but front end checkers rude and totally ignore customers. She was too busy talking to co worker in Spanish. She only asked me if I wanted a bag. Big disappointed. She did this to the woman in front of me as well. Have checker # on my receipt. Rude.

One of the cheapest grocery stores in Hayward. Theres a lot of variety of foods to buy from for good prices. I started coming here more often then luckys due to the price, and can get a better deal on my favorite brands. Its not too busy in morning/ early afternoon. I would recommend coming here so that you can buy more for less price.

Most of the food is very cheap with decent quality, good deals on fruits/veggies (99c for 6 full cucumbers, can you believe?), but the meat have deals for a reason. Either use it the same day you purchase or freeze, and its fine. Also had a weird experience with the sliding doors

Except for having to wait in line for a while sometimes the prices here are very good the selection here is very good the parking here is also very good. The employees are very good. So its all very good-except for sometimes long lines but they do what they can at getting people through quickly.

Like I said before do lot shopping for my personal needs even my mom comes here brother cant beat the prices great sales on there product have lot to choose from have great hours to help those who work late need to pick few items up before going home to there own family this store is very busy so please go in there with patients well worth it

Pretty good on their prices and they close at 11 so its a place where you can shop kind of late. But dont come there at 10:30 cuz theyll slowly start shutting the lights down on you

This store definitely has its place. While I get the bulk of my grocery at a warehouse club, here I can find a bigger variety of items, at a lower price compared to regular grocery stores. It is also in a pretty convenient position on the Mission

This store is vastly cheaper than Safeway, Luckys, Trader Joes etc. They do not have a wide variety of products, but you can get there is good priced meat, milk, veggies, fruits, bread. I get croissants weekly at this location, yum! Be careful in the parking lot, there seems to be a lot of drug dealing and mentally unstable people.
