Dave was very welcoming as I approached the front door, not suspecting me of stealing or making me feel uncomfortable in the store. Dave had great input, advice, and I believe beneficial benefits. Been going here for years, even when it was nutrishop. They’re always great about sampling and super super helpful. Its nice to go to a place where you feel like more than just a customer. They always ask if they can help, what were looking for or what were trying to achieve, and then give recommendations. My only critique is i wish they had more of a selection. But aside from that this place has been awesome and continues to be awesome! 10/10 would recommend 👍🏽

I placed an order for a face cream around 3-14-20 and received a discolored defective product. Covid 19 hit and calling them was not of importance at that time. I cancelled my subscription on 4/7/20 and just received a 89.25 charge on my charge card. When I called I was told it had to be cancelled within 2 weeks to not be charged. Please be cautious of this scam. Do not give credit card information

I went in to look around and ended up not buying anything. I give this place 5 stars because the sales rep didnt try to pressure me into any sales and was incredibly nice. The supplements I buy are cheaper than their selection but for the most part not by much. I would recommend this place for people who are serious about taking shipments because they are knowledgeable about their products and wont just try to make a sale.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, always willing to listen to what your goals are or what your trying to achieve and offering their advice.

They claim to say open on website but they r closed. Didnt answer phone call either.

Super awesome staff

I have been a loyal customer to the Hayward, CA branch for years. Just wanted to let someone know how badly I was treated today by RJ at Max Muscle Hayward, Ca. A while back I purchased a 64 oz power bottle from Max Muscle at the NorCal bodybuilding competition; unfortunately it cracked and broke when it fell from the stair master as I was exercising. Feeling sad and devastated and wanting to purchase the same bottle again, I called yesterday on Sunday to see if there were anymore left. I was told that they have a 78 oz bottle instead of the 64oz bottle that I had. So I decided to make a trip to the store around 5pm today to purchase the power jug in hopes that my cap with the straw from my previous 64oz power bottle would fit this new bottle. Upon picking up the bottle, I noticed that the new Power jug did not have the cap with the straw I desired, so I asked RJ nicely if I could open the plastic package to the new power jug to try and see if my cap with a straw from the 64 oz power bottle that cracked and broke would fit and if it did I would purchase it. He rudely said no. I asked him if there was a sample bottle that I could try my cap with a straw on and again he rudely said no and he said if I opened it that there was no way for him to put the Plastic seal back on. Let me start by saying I am asking to open up the plastic bag just to see if my cap with the straw would fit on the new bottle. I was not asking to fill up the bottle with water or to drink from it. What seems to be the problem? I dont understand why I cant open the plastic package and try to see if the cap with the straw works; if it works I would have happily purchased the bottle. Then to make matters even worse, he ended up giving away the same power jug that I was going to purchase to another customer that bought more items and spent a lot of money. I proceeded to look up on my phone to see if there were any promotions that max muscle was promoting that would give away not only a shaker bottle but also the power jug that I was planning to purchase had my cap with straw from my 64 oz bottle fit the new bottle. RJs actions clearly shows that RJ is only after the money or commission the customers give him. When the other customer left the store, I was hoping that RJ would have the decency to ask me if I still needed any help or at least acknowledge me ( there was no one else in the store) so seeing that he was ignoring me, I just put the power jug back and angrily left the store; RJ did not even care; it seems like he only cares about the customers that spend lots of money; he doesnt realize how much money I have already spent not only at this location but other locations as well. Max Muscle was my go to place for supplements. I felt really insulted as I have spent hundreds of dollars at this same location and not once have I not received anything for free, let alone a shaker bottle and power jug that RJ freely gave another customer, I feel so mistreated and unappreciated. RJ really needs to work on his customer service skills. In all the years I have shopped at max muscle, especially this location, I have never been so disappointed; not only did I feel so unappreciated, I was so angry that I didnt even purchase the replacement power jug, I dont think I ever want to shop at this location again.

The staff here is not just there to sell you a supplement they actually care what you want to accomplish and they provide alot of different roads to take
