Clean and offers lots of goodies. The staff is very friendly.This is the first Safeway I see in 21 years. The last one I saw was in Amman, Jordan. This place brought me lots of memories when I saw it in Helena. It was an unplanned visit!

Never had a bad experience in the store. Food is always fresh. Unfortunately I did the grocery pick up once and was greatly disappointed in the quality of the fresh produce. Half the lettuce was bad and the Brussel sprouts were as well.

Great employees. Gave assistance when store wasnt officially opened yet. We were leaving town in an emergent situation and they pulled together and rendered help

I visited Safeway to pick up some supplies for my adventure bicycling the GDMBR and saw the wonderful sushi being made. I did not get the names of the two guys making the sushi but they were wonderful. They stopped and completed one of what they were making just for me.. Wow.. Now thats customer SERVICE!!! THANK YOU#

I called the store and asked him if I could get some boxes for packing they said sure. Then when I got there I asked one of the workers if I could get some help as I am in a wheelchair at home. I waited for 3 hours and no one ever brought me any boxes.. if they werent going to do it they should have told me.

Fresh donuts with huge variety. Good prices and lots of deals. Variety and well organized. Good selection of beer and wine too.

Stopped in to grab some essentials for Glacier. Open early, well staffed and stocked. Friendly workers and clean store.

Just passing through, on our way to Glacier NP, needed vittles. It was just what we needed. Cashier was on her game! Signed us up instantly for their club, and saved us over $20.

I recently changed my pharmacies to Safeway and they were very good to me.

Its ok, went here regularly while on vacation because every other store closed an hour earlier.

Fantastic selection of produce, not to mention the meat department which has the best fresh choices in town. I also enjoy the sea food selection and of course the great cheese selections and adult beverages to compliment all occasions.

The deli has gluten free Thai curry chicken - YUM! They often have killer specials on coffee (both Keurig pods and ground and whole bean bags), and on the shampoo I use ;) total score!

Clean, good variety of anything you want.

It is out of my way so not enough shopping there, but it was good when I was there.

Lots of fresh things to buy, love this place. I would suggest the aged cheese they have. Its a little cheaper her than other places.

Despite being short staffed, you wouldnt know it by the top service, cleanliness and the professionalism. Kind of feels like home. The management at the Helena Safeway is supperb.

Bridget from the Bakery was too amazing. Made my daughter’s first birthday happen. A lot of bakery’s are “backed up” for months but she got me a German chocolate and custom smash cake the DAY BEFORE her birthday. Bad on me for waiting till last minute but kudos to Bridget for saving our day. I also got a dozen or so balloons from the floral department and the woman helping me (who’s name wasn’t on the receipt) made them so pretty. Round of applause Safeway.

Im here out of town on buisness. Ive been inside plenty of grocery stores and various shops. Pretty confusing layout at this location had to ask for help for nearly every item. Which the help I received was very friendly and courteous but it seems a little counter intuitive where things are. All in all, it is still pretty good.

Very nice place but night time checker was not friendly nor talking. For how much cheer and festive people working werent showing that.

Some of the frozen section was blocked off yet the rest of the store was accessible

My normal stop on my way home from work. Always has what I need in stock and never to busy I cant get in and out when I need to.

I have become consistently more unsatisfied with this store and associated stores. However, Im drawing the line here. The debit system was down when I tried to purchase today. A lady scrambled up to me and frantically told me were having a problem with the banks, you have to run it as credit. I tried a few times with my card again but it never gave to option to run it as credit. The employee stopped assisting us before we could ask her anything.I was unable to purchase from this store. They wasted my time, my gas, and my health during this pandemic. Good riddance. Im shopping strictly at Heritage, Vans, and Costco from now on.

Fantastic employees but the prices are poor compared to their competitors. They do carry certain products I cannot get elsewhere though.

I liked the Starbucks in here most of all! Was surprised at how well the flow is in the building. Sort of surprising given the arrangement, but its easy to find things and for some odd reason doesnt feel as congested as other grocery stores Ive been in. The checkers were exceptionally busy, however they got all of us through very quickly, thus, giving an excellent experience!

Fuel center is good but its great when that kid with the glasses is there, he is super helpful.

Visited this place in Helena MT to buy groceries.This store had almost all items Like any other super market. Staff are customer friendly. I have visited this store multiple times. It is near to my place of stay. Convenient and easy to commute here.

Great selection of flowers. I also really enjoy their produce section and the many vegan/plant based options offered throughout the store. Always clean as well, and very friendly staff.

They dont have everything in when we go up there and we have to buy the full price sandwiches At Starbucks when oven is off

Safeway was a zoo, the company really stepped up for the Thanksgiving holiday, despite the covid threat the food was stocked, the vegetables were fresh...Bravo Zulu to the Safeway crew!

Prices are a little high, but the people that work there are absolutely great. They all make you feel welcomed!
