What an awesome experience with this dive team and crew. Had an amazing weekend in Ventura, California and diving in The Channel Islands. We all got an up close and personal experience with a young sea lion 🦭 and that was such an incredible moment ! The dive was beautiful and the weekend was a blast. So much to do at the Harbor with the 3rd Reef Crew too! We had a wonderful dinner as a group and there was live music and good times!

Just got back from the Channel Islands dive trip with 3rd Reef. What an incredible community of divers! This was my first dive in the ocean after spending several months earning open water and advanced open water certifications with 3rd Reef. They have shown me a side of life I knew nothing about. This was an awesome trip with some skilled, supportive, and fun loving bunch of peeps. This was my first trip, but will not be my last. Thank you 3rd Reef!

Just came back from an incredible 2 days of diving at the Channel Islands with 3rd Reef. Beautiful dive sites! We saw Giant Sea Bass, played with sea lions, saw an incredible array of fish, starfish, lobsters, and of course, the enchanting Kelp Forest. It was a fantastic weekend with the best dive club in the Vegas. Can’t wait to go again!

Larry over at 3rd reef divers was awesome. My first stage had too much pressure being released and it was forcing my Air-2 to slowly release air. Took it over to 3rd reef to have Larry look at it, and he started taking it apart right in front of me to figure out the problem. I sat with Larry talking for about an hour, about diving and life in general. About 20 minutes after I left I got a call that my first stage was fixed. He is such a genuine person and to be willing to have me sit with him while he worked on it was really amazing. Such a personable guy to be around. I was lazy about registering my Scubapro equipment, so he just went ahead and did it for me. You need any scuba equipment fixed, go see Larry. He takes customer service to a whole different level.

I highly recommend this shop. I took a couple regs in to have serviced. While there I talked with Larry about some foot issues caused by neuropathies. He recommended some fins that solved my problems. I thought I was all done diving until I talked with Larry. Now I will be able to dive for many years.

I couldnt be happier with my choice in a dive shop. Been a year since getting certified here and 1 week since returning from Cozumel, Mexico. I absolutely cant wait for the next dive trip! The shop handled everything and I have to admit it was the best vacation I have ever had. Couldnt be happier with the down to earth friends I have made here and the attentiveness of the staff. Dont go anywhere else for your diving needs!

Definitely the best dive shop in Vegas, if not the best I have ever seen. Larry is extremely knowledgable and friendly. Their course prices are the best. The community built up around the shop is super supportive and they always have something fun planned.

I cannot recommend this shop and the owner and dive master, Larry, enough! We had to find a new instructor after the first shop we hired changed ownership and would not honor our deposit. (We lost $400 dollars.) Larry gave us credit for the book work we had already completed. My two teenage sons and I certified at the same time. Larry related to adults as well as teenagers. Larry was flexible with our schedules and moved the process along quickly. This is a masterful teacher.

I dove many years ago and in retirement have decided to get back into the sport. I visited several dive shops in the Las Vegas area. I did not visit them all, but so far 3rd Reef is tops. No sales pressure. Larry took my information and helped me find what was best for me. I joined his dive club because I know that I will be diving out of this shop.

Great service! Staff was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their sport. As a retail associate I greatly appreciated the product knowledge and personal experience thrown into their sales pitches. As someone new to diving I had a set list of what I needed. They were quick and efficient moving through the list with me showing different benefits and draw backs to each item.Highly recommend!

What an awesome store! We went looking for snorkel gear and learned a ton. This is the type of local business you want to hang out in. I have never really thought “oh I want to get certified to scuba dive” but after meeting Larry now I do! The prices were very reasonable, they have a small used section as well as new gear. We found everything we needed for our whole family. I wish all businesses were run by people as knowledgeable and passionate about what they sell and helping people with it as this one!

3rd reef is not only a great place to take classes and buy gear, but also an awesome hangout for divers who want to talk and learn from Larry, the owner, who’s been diving professionally for decades. He’s knowledgeable and thoroughly answers any questions you have. The shop is also very well decorated, including many vintage pieces of equipment, and has a wide selection of products. Come for gear, stay for the atmosphere and knowledge they have.

I had called around several shops to get certified from, and this one caught my attention due to Larry. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and very kind. Just finished getting certified and got to know the other staff and they’re amazing! Larry has been diving for just over 30 years and has a lot to pass on. Go with these guys, you won’t regret it!!

THE BEST DIVE SHOPSeriously, 3rd Reef Divers is full of experienced divers who love diving. This dive shop is about building an amazing community who treats each other right.When we approached Larry he was enthusiastic, excited for us to learn, and willing to work with us and our limited time. We got open water certified and plan on taking more courses!

My experience with open water certification at 3rd Reef Divers was top notch. Wish I could give more stars. Other places we had called were nowhere near as friendly. Larry made us feel welcome, worked with our tight schedule and was extremely accommodating when we had any hiccups in the schedule. Best of all, Larry helped even the most apprehensive of us feel calm and supported so we were able to accomplish our goal of getting certified. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Decided to check this place out today as it is right down the street from where I live. Great size place. Very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and helpful. Bought a couple of scuba tanks and a shirt at an amazing price. This place is clean, plenty of places to sit if you need to. They rent out gear as well as teach courses. They sell Scuba Pro equipment and Henderson brands amongst others. They have only been open a few weeks.

We went to check out this shop last week. Misty was so informative and super nice! I enjoyed all the information, knowledge and expertise she provided! We look forward to checking out local diving and trips too. And thanks for being open on a Saturday!!!!

What a wonderful dive shop! The staff working were some of the nicest people I have ever met, they were so helpful, and it was obvious that they loved what they do. So happy they opened shop in the neighborhood!

Ive been to a few dive shops in town third reef divers is hands-down the best dive shop in town with the friendliest staff that you will meet with the widest selection of dive equipment.

I had a small air leak with my regulator air guage and took the unit in to see what could be done. Larry the owner fixed it right away and didnt charge me! They are a friendly group and very knowledgeable. Thanks 3rd Reef!
