Friendly staff with a great pro shop and reasonable prices on merchandise and green fees. A challenging course with nice fairways and fast greens. We had a great time and plan on going back!
Wow, these guys have done a great job getting this course back to where is was years and years ago. The fairways and greens are in amazing shape. The grounds crews have done wonders. Over delivered on my expectations. The staff were extremely courteous and very helpful. Cost was $30 for 18 and a cart on a weekday. In my opinion its a great value for the experience you get. Challenging, fun, well taken car of, and professional.I will add that the greens are a tad (barley noticeable) slower than your typical parks and rec courses in Evansville. But they still played true and looked gorgeous.
Scottie and the rest of the team have really turned this course around. Great place to play a round, hit balls at the driving range or enjoy a meal.
Very challenging course. Fast greens. Good fairways. Tough pins. Was happy with an 86.
Greens were smooth but slow, perhaps for the time of the year. A lot of weeds and bare spots tees through greens.Played behind a 6-some and a very slow 4-some on a Saturday. After taking an hour to play 10, 11 and 12, found that no one was on 14 through 18. Skipped ahead and moved like golf is meant to be played.
The golf pro Bill Randall made it clear to us that Seniors and non members arent welcome at this course. My family selected this course as a meeting place for us to gather and have some fun playing golf together as many of us are older and havent seen one another since before the pandemic. We had a great time on the first 9. When we rounded the turn and had to wait 20 minutes for service at the clubhouse which put us a bit behind on the 10th hole. We were confronted by Bill Randall on the 11th hole who was very rude to us. He accused us of holding up play and said members were complaining. We had 5 members of my family that played golf that day. Because we wanted to spend the day together we asked if we could play together with 5 instead of splitting up in the 2 T times we had booked. We had been polite during the front 9 and let a few groups of 2 play through. One gentleman from one of the groups who was a member even thanked us for playing there. Not one member of the staff ever confronted us about playing slow prior to our confrontation with Bill Rendall. Everyone else at the course was friendly except for Bill Randall. Its unfortunate for the course that it has such unprofessional leadership and management. T boxes were so dry you almost needed a hammer to get get your T in. Ponds were putrid. The person at the clubhouse was working a 12 hour shift while her manager was out with Bill picking up signs from a previous scramble and being rude to us. It seems like the club would want to welcome revenue from outsiders.
Thought the fairways were in good condition, greens in great shape and employees very accommodating.
Enjoyed playing the golf course.
This course has its challenges. Lots of water but for an average golfer no real issue. Must be able to drive straight. Even when you land in the middle of the fairway your ball rolls to the rough. Rough is rough. Lots of weeds and tall grass and bushes. All of that you can overcome and adjust. Its the greens I didnt like. You have to strike your ball too hard. Slow slow greens.
Good pickleball courts.
Beautiful course and always a good time!
For this time of year and the age of the greens the course is in pretty good shape. They have done a lot of work on the bunkers, lakes and cart paths. Greens have some crab grass but decent speed and roll. The layout is excellent and employees are very nice.
I have played Bridges several times since it opened in July. It keeps getting better every time, even though this is a really hot time of year. The greens are less rough, the fairways and tees are more smooth, and the bunkers are coming along great. This track, one of the best public tracks in the Tri-State, is better than it has been in a dozen years. It is still a very difficult challenge. Bring lots of golf balls - if you arent in the fairways, the primary rough and native areas surrounding each hole will penalize you! The clubhouse staff are super friendly and accommodating too, and really appreciate every golfer who plays. Next year the course will be in tip-top shape. Good challenge now too.
Nice golf and great people
Great course nice people
Mean cart man
The course has changed so much in a years times. Greens have improved tremendously and look forward to see how amazing it become by next spring.
Golf course has come a long way and is in great shape. Great staff and great ground crew!!
Great course but the greens look like a goat ranch (trash). I am sure with time they can get the greens back into shape but should be a shamed of opening the course before its ready.
Keep working on the coarse it will improve for next year.
Looking Good, almost ready to open. Pro Shop Stocked with all any Golfer needs.
For being back open for a few months, GREAT job.
Interesting but the greens still need work...
Good course but greens need work
