Unfortunately I did not meet the friendly staff of other reviewers. I came in with my wife and daughter looking to buy a gun for my wifes birthday. we briefly looked at what they had (not much). This entire time not so much as a greeting by the man at the desk, even after the customer he had just helped had left. proceeded to make a phone call, then once he was done with it, I tried asking some general questions about their stock and what was available to look at. He was very dismissive, then a woman came from the back and he re-asked one of my questions to her and she just gave a simple and quick no, almost sounding annoyed.You shouldnt be annoying at your customers, especially if they are the only customers in your store after you had just opened.Ended up going across town to another store, much better selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff that actually realize they are there to sell you something.

This is the BEST place in the Vegas NV valley to buy guns, rifles and ammunition. AWESOME STAFF, VERY PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY. KATY & ANNA ARE THE BEST. I wont shop anywhere else.

Top gun store... Treat me great, there would be 5 stars if l could sway them to hold HARD TO GET AMMO for me all the time... So really 4 and 3/4 Stars...

Very nice place with knowledgeable staff and owner. I have bought a few items here with no issues. The one time I did have an issue, it was my fault and they took the part back and gave me the one I needed. No hassle. If youre in Henderson, theres no shop that tops this one.

Great shop with a lot of inventory. Prices comparable to market values. Some special pricing pops up in Backpage ads that makes the drive worthwhile for me. I live in the far northwest part of the valley, so its a 29 mile drive for me. Not a problem if they advertise a great price for toy I want.

This is the greatest gun shop Ive been to in Vegas. I was born and raised in vegas, bought quite a few firearms from multiple shops and never had an experience like this place. Knowledgeable, friendly staff that doesnt make you feel like an idiot for not knowing everything they do. Their price point beat every shop Id been to and I went to several. This is the only store Ill be buying from now on!

UCD us a pretty cool full service gun store. Jason (the owner) is very knowledgeable as well as helpful. Unlike most gun shops UCD does not make you feel like youre an idiot for not knowing something that most gun owners take as common knowledge. No questions it too small dumb to ask. They treat you like an old friend here. One of the other things that I like here as compared to other stores that Ive been to over the years is that they dont BS you with urban legends or fake war stories. They are on the level with you.Another thing about this place is there is a range located right next door to the location. If theres a handgun or rifle YOUD LIKE TO TRY BEFORE YOU BUY, they are more than happy to accommodate you.UCD also has plenty of services available ranging from gun smithing to CCW (Carrying a Concealed Weapon) classes. Check them out, even if youre browsing, they are not going to pressure you into a sale.

Seems like a really great shop..... if you could ever get in. I found this place about 6 weeks ago now when I visited the Green Valley Range locates next door. I was excited because it’s less than 2 miles from my house and I thought I’d found my new LGS, but unfortunately they were closed. I thought nothing of it at the time, and decided I’d try back later. Since then I’ve tried to visit their store 4-5 times, and I’ve called there twice during their supposed hours of operation. Every time was during their already limited hours of operation, and every time they were closed!! I even left a message asking them to call me back, but they didnt. With the amount of effort I’ve put into trying to spend money with them, I could have gone to every gun shop in town. I get they’re a private small business, and can do as they please, but I honestly don’t know how they stay open! They must have some big clients that aren’t local customers, because their brick and mortar store front sure isn’t making any money the way they conduct business.

Prior vist to Urban Civil Defense was somwhat cold at the old location, but untill yesterday my vist and purchase was by far very pleasant and fast,found exactly what i wanted, and they even gave me a break on purchased items.I might add aswell a very nice store with lots of inventory.staff was very helpfull and freindly.
