Travis is an awesome person! He made the conceal class fun and educational at the same time. 10/10 recommend going to him for a concealed weapons class!

I recently took my CCH class with Travis. He is awesome. He has a wealth of knowledge of real life scenario and other inform that you will need in order to protect yourself or family. Should the situation arise. I would highly recommend him. I will look into taking additional classes with him.

We recently had a conceal and carry class in our office. Travis made it very educational and interesting. Travis has real life scenarios to help individuals realize that each day might be the day you have to protect yourself or family. I really respected the first sentence he started the class with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Just completed the CCH class with a group of my fellow Realtors. I can’t recommend these guys enough. Having both law enforcement and military backgrounds, they bring real life experiences into the course as a way to teach about gun usage and safety. They’re friendly and engaging and really want what’s best for our community.

Just completed my Concealed Carry Class with Travis Rector owner of Overwatch Defense and Mike USMC (forgot his last name sorry but he is cute 😅 )I was not expecting the wealth of information/knowledge I learned in one afternoon.You think you know how you would react in situations.However, after listening to real life experiences you gain a whole new perspective.Even if you do not intend on carrying your weapon out of the home. I would take this class.I intend on taking more of the classes they offer.

Travis and Mike taught a CCH class today and it was informative, entertaining, sobering, and generally very interesting. I highly recommend their class and I will be going to Overwatch for all my gun-related training and buying needs. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I have taken a conceal carry class with Travis. I enjoyed learning about the NC laws during the class. During the testing Travis was very reassuring and helpful with my shooting form. Each time we have spent time or money in the store the environment is welcoming and warm. I would never want to do business with any other local gun shop because I truly feel like family here.

Overwatch Defense is very knowledgeable. When it comes to working with women who may not have a good understanding of firearms Travis is very helpful. He explained how to use my handgun in a safe manor that made me feel comfortable with my firearm.

Fixed me up real nice and quickI had a major malfunction with my firearm rendering it useless so I thought Id swing by and see if the gentlemen are could help me. Not only did they fix my gun in 30 seconds they did it for free and told me to contact firearm manufacturer and they will go ahead and replace the piece for me. Thats why I shop locally. You will never get that kind of service anywhere belts. Spend the extra money support your local gun shops because we take care of each other

Also, I took my CC class through Travis at overwatch. It was very informative and a blast. He and his wife are awesome! Always helpful and friendly. Knowledgeable about firearms use and repair. Good people to do business with. If they dont have something, it wont take long for them to get it. They also teachCCW classes, usually once a month.

Wow, just walked out of this store for the first time and I feel like Im going to be a life long customer. Great service, great attitudes, incredibly knowledgeable and a very fun visit. All i did was a transfer for a firearm but i stayed an extra hour for the conversation. Highly recommend checking them out.

First off, Ive never encountered such a warm and inviting establishment. You walk in and feel like family, and to me thats important. Im not just another dollar bill to Travis and Pat; they care about me, my wife, and my two year old. Secondly, we buy ALL of our firearms from Overwatch Defense. Even went as far as canceling an order from a large corporation just to have Travis build one because hes just that damn good. He has what I need, when I need it, and never gives any issues. Hes honest with me and tells me what it is, and I dig that. Then, add in the fact that he takes the time to ensure safety and lawful sales, and you have a properly run establishment. We will continue to support Travis, Pat, their families, and everyone at Overwatch Defense.

As an avid gun enthusiast this family business is one of my favorites.Ive known travis for a few years now, when I moved to NC i took my concealed class with him.Since then he is my go to for all my retail firearms related stuff.Hes knowledgeable, a straight up person, and him and his wife have always been good to me.

Travis, Tony and Team at Overwatch are beyond excellent. I would recommend stopping in and seeing their guns, bows and other merchandise. Their knowledge and good attitudes in my opinion. Also check out their concealed and carry classes, you will be very pleased.

Great guys who know products and specialty accessories. They have been awesome to work and find the guns I want and help me get them set up as I need. With over 28 years in law enforcement I know a bit about firearms and am always impressed with staffs knowledge. The custom Cerakote is really nice and a good improvement over factory parkerized or bluing.I like the fact they are NRA instructors and offer classes to make citizens more aware and efficient at protecting themselves.Buy, trade or train, Overwatch is recommended.

Great place to get a gun or accessories, custom work and ammo they also sell armor shirts black rifle coffee and even prepper food boxes. Travis and the guys know their stuff and know customer service is important! They will get you what you want or do their best to try and get it.

Not helpful or attentive at all

This place is probably the best firearms store in hendersonville nc, they carry alot of out of the ordinary items for AR builds and custom/d.i.y. work. They are knowledgeable and humble and also carry tru spec clothing which is a great plus. On site inventory is a bit small but i hope with time and a growing customer base this place will blossom and begin carrying alot more on site. Suggest also adding first aid materials to their inventory!All in all its a 10 out of 10 everytime i go there and i wish i could spend more money to help them grow. Please show your support for this place if youre interested in custom and tactical style firearms as they will serve the community well. Thankyou for existing overwatch you put rexs to shame every time.

The staff at overwatch defense are very knowledgeable and helpful. They ensure that any firearms being exchanged are always “safe”, whether it be theirs or a customers. Travis has helped me with some issues I’ve had with my firearms thag i couldn’t quite nail down myself, and has went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction with all of my visits to the shop. They have a great selection of fire arms and shooting accessories. If you want anything fire arms related, knowledge, or classes, overwatch defense is the place!
