Im a FT guitar player in Nashville.Both my go to gtrs were in dire need of attention, my tech of 23 yrs passed a few yrs back and Ive been having work done by a number of techs doing mostly fine work but not quite nailing it, since Gary was referred by a close friend who is a renowned player and i need an immediate appointment I decided to call and see if he could squeeze me in for a 911 visit.He did a superb job replacing the nut, the intonation was accurate and the action was corrected to get all tone available and felt great.He also did a terrific job rewiring my tele switch, .The service was fast and top notch quality and intuitive concerning what the player needs in the set up.I will be calling Gary for all maintenance and repairs moving forward

I cant say enough great things about Gary with Raines Guitar Repair. First off, he was very responsive and he made it a point to keep me updated on all the repairs that my guitars needed, and the entire process. All in total, I had 4 guitars that he looked at. 2 of them were just restrings and adjustments which were done very fast and at a fair price. The other 2 were rebuilds. Gary is very meticulous and attentive with his work, and it shows with the rebuilds. Im amazed at the quality of work. One of the guitars was literally in pieces and he brought it back to playing beautifully. The price was very fair, considering the time and parts that he had to put into both of the rebuilds. I will be using Gary from here on out for my guitar repair needs. So glad I found him.

Mr. Raines is a craftsman. He is very professional in his work, I was pleasantly impressed after setting up my guitars when he gave me detailed specs of the work done and specifics like the measurement of action height, etc on each guitar. Very reasonably priced, but not because the work is not expensive doesn’t mean the quality is not great. Brought in my CS 52 RI tele to have some Lollars dropped in. Great prices and very quick turnaround. The new pickups sound amazing and very happy. I was also impressed to see the old pups returned with plenty of lead left to use again with no issues, as I have gotten pickups back in the past with no care to the length left on the wire. He also did an intonation for me that is dead on. Highly recommended
