Where do I even begin?Im leaving the Shippenville review here.I AM SO HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.I found your March 14th, St. Patricks Day Bash on Eventbrite. Because of Covid, there wasnt much to do in our own area, an HOUR away, so my husband and I took a chance and went to your Shippenville location. HUGE mistake!As we entered, we got a hello, and I proceeded to tell the girl behind the counter who had bobbed blonde hair (Mira D is the name on our reciept) what we were there for and showed her our tickets and she acted as if she had no idea there was an event going on that day. Everyone looked lost and/or depressed. BASH? It was dull and boring. There was no bash. Contemporary music covers by someone stuffed in the corner of the building. The menu could have been Irish themed. The slushies we ordered were watered down and had so much sugar, it could have put a horse in a diabetic coma all for 16 DOLLARS A PIECE and I couldnt find a price ANYWHERE, but we had to order food with our drinks per Covid rules. (then $15 for the meat and cheese tray). Nothing even remotely Irish about your vendors. The most Irish thing about this bash was the decorations. After a bill of $49.82 and a heart attack, we left and drove 107 miles to Carnegie to even come close to a St. Pats bash. I wont ever be back and it was my first time there. First impressions are everything. Nice facility, but, there is SO much room for improvement its not even funny. This was a total joke and a waste of our time.

Return visit this year. Enjoyed your wine bar last year with my son. I brought my entire family back to you winery this year. My son passed away in March he was 29, and as a family we were celebrating his life in Bryson City. You verbally attacked my mother for not wearing a mask...yelled about not reading the sign. You were rude and obviously did not want us there. Maybe because we had small children? At one point a customer stood up and told us to get the crying kid out of here.We were very excited to.visit and left very discouraged and upset. We spent $180.00 and barely got a thankyou. While you have a nice spot I, nor my family will ever ever visit your winery again.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Staff was rude and I will not be going back.

Excellent winery all around choices were really good. Samples sitting out to taste. Samples were unlimited. Popcorn for between the samples. The pineapple wine was dynamite. Lots of little jams to also buy. Wine was higher than normal but will come back again

Love the down home feeling and friendliness of the staff. They have great wine selections and great prices! We will visit every time we are up this way :)

Awesome people working their samples are amazing and their wine is the best Ive had anywhere

The staff is very knowledgeable about the wine that they sell. And are very helpful when trying to decide what wine to get.
