Bought new 25kw with kubota with install. Couldnt ask for better experience. From the buying of it to the install, everything was great. Reccomend them highly. Im totally pleased
We went to great effort to make sure we had a system that was Wi-Fi monitored and controlled. When the job was done, there was no such communication. Several trips back and several attempts by them to run the cat cable, put the ends on correctly, and wire it appropriately, did not work out. In my absence, they told me it was complete so they were paid in full. When I arrived at the job a couple weeks later there was no online capability. Calls to them produced no response other than a secretary telling me that I must not have Wi-Fi at my home. They walked away from the job after being paid in full. Ultimately, I was able to correct the wiring and enable Wi-Fi control at a cost of just over $2000. Additionally, the one day job turned into two full days and five subsequent visits.I highly recommend that if you use these people you keep a close eye on them and don’t pay them until they are 100% complete.And since they don’t understand Wi-Fi, choose another company if that is important.In closing, if it wasn’t for their incompetence regarding the Wi-Fi, keeping the payment in full without compensation to me, as well as digging up my sewer line, their work was acceptable.

Tuned Up My 20yo Gennie - Super accommodating to make appointment to get my generator in a 20 year old RV looked at, so I could wait for it. Checked part costs ahead of time and determined it just needed filters and oil change. Performed work quickly, then had me test from RV under load to ensure operation. Very reasonable. Very professional.

The purchase and installation experience with CMD Power was simple and done as expected. They were very willing to answer my questions and provided me with excellent customer service. Due to the placement of the generator on my property, my lawn was damaged due to the tractor they needed to use, but they told me they would come back in the spring to repair it. Overall I am pleased and at ease knowing I will no longer have to go without power for days on end during these crazy Maine winters!
Customer Service and installation were amazing. The generator pad was not available at time of installation. However, they have scheduled time to come out to install. In the meantime, they set the generator on cement blocks to ensure stability. Very easy to work with and very easy install. They coordinated everything with the propane company and the electrical company.

Super friendly, Professional, cooperative, patient, knowledgeable staff and owner was so kind with my scheduling /rescheduling and storing my unit as one thing after another in life was happening. The fellows that came out were wonderful and tweaked location a bit to keep snow load from roof from falling right onto unit, something I never would have considered. they were very thorough in showing this and that on unit for maintenance even recommended having it start for its charge on a Tuesday afternoon for ten in case barbecuing on a 3 day weekend? who tells ya that stuff but good guys! I recommend all of this staff and company for all your electrical and installation needs not just generators.
CMD Powersystems was recommended to me by three different people over the course of two days. I called them to get an estimate of cost and that was handled very professionally. We agreed on the size and installation was planned once I had agreed to the estimate. I did check with two friends who work for Emera and they told me I could not do better than CMD.CMD arranged for all the right people to be there at the installation. It went very smoothly - about four hours from start to finish. The end product looks very professional and I am very pleased.I would recommend this company to anyone considering installing a standby generator.
CMD installed a new generator system when snow was still on the ground. Leading up to the installation, they were up front about all costs, answered all of my questions, stuck to their timeline, and recommended a great subcontractor to make the connection to the gas line. Despite the machinery involved, the yard was left in wonderful shape after the installation. Luckily, I have not yet had to use the generator, so I am unable to comment on the quality of the product (Generac). However, the generator cycles on like clockwork each week. All interactions with staff have been positive, and I have confidence that should I call for future needs, they would respond with professionalism.
We didn’t really have any problems with CMD except that communication was not as clear to all involved parties. The gas company in particular. But in the end all is well and we have a generator. It only ran for four minutes on its first weekly test but we are thinking and hoping that the second test (tomorrow) will be more like the ten to fifteen minutes that we were told it would be. We will see. Thank you.
Called and someone come out to look at a generator that they had installed. Without really looking, said that it was unfixable and then just chatted. I was charged a ridiculous amount. Turns out it was a simple regulator that was a quick fix. And fortunately this company cost me hundreds of dollars and did absolutely nothing.
CMD was easy to deal with. They kept me updated on the status of the backup generator installation. Installation crew arrived on time and finished the job on schedule. They left their area neat and picked up. I would recommend them to anyone needing a backup generator installation.
Both the installation and the follow up service by Ashley Have been great. Although Hermon is a distance from Owls Head they say they will be here as needed. The people that we have encountered have been very professional friendly and helpful.
This company is not customer focused, and overcharges for the yearly check ups, labor & parts and the warranty is totally useless. In order to make this review fair & accurate I was on the phone all day gathering my information from the manufacturer. I wouldnt recommend buying a Generac period. The upkeep is expensive, and the warranty will NOT save you money. I have the second smallest Generac, a very expensive 11, which should, but cannot even support my tiny cottage. Most times it comes on but during a bad snowstorm it failed. I was told it will fail unless I buy this new and improved $300 part for it. To be fair; CMD did extend credit to me (thus the 3 stars) when I needed to make payments on the expensive yearly checkup. Although they said they will no longer extend credit to me because I argued the warranty with them and refused to pay their $140 labor & travel (to turn it back on in a snowstorm) The warranty is only for a defect. To me its a defect if it wont turn on in a snowstorm. Again, the warranty doesnt really work and sometimes neither does the product. A portable generator should suffice.

Very professional team. Despite several months backlog by generator manufacturer, I was kept up to date at every step. Install crew of four made a quick neat job of installing home 16KW unit, base on gravel and transfer switch, and tested unit before LP tanks installed the following week. All working smoothly.

When we first moved to Unity, Maine, it was suggested that we look into getting a generator. Its great insurance, especially when your home depends on electricity for both heat and water, as well as lights etc. We called one one dealer three times but never heard back. Thats when we contacted CMD Powersystems in Hermon, ME and within a short time a new 11K Generac was installed and running. The crew was professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. Please with both the sales people and the installers. Would recommend them highly.

Very pleased with the final product and service though time frame (3 months) was a bit long and slight glitch with installation as fuel source was initially turned off. Remedied within 24 hours. The technicians and electrician were very knowledgeable and competent!
CMD recently installed a 16KW Generac generator at my home and I am satisfied with the results. The job was well done but the generator had a defective circuit board that required a service call. CMD promptly corrected the problem at no charge. I have entered into a service agreement with CMD and would recommend the company to others considering the installation of an emergency generator.
We have several generators at properties that we manage for different owners. Several owners had other companies that put them in but were not available to service them when there was problems. CMD has been very responsive each time Ive called for service. We just had to call two weeks ago and they said they were backed up but would get to it as soon as they could. They responded in 2 days. Had it up and running again before the rain and ice storm we had which was nice. Bill came and was very reasonable. Good service at a good price.
A little bit of communication delay slowed down the process of getting our new generator and a rebuild of our old one. Top quality service at all times and great products! but need to stay on top of scheduling better.

They came and installed the generator but damaged the water barrier for the house. After a call they sent out a man who repaired the damage. Prompt service
My Briggs generator with only 1200 hours of running time had its second headgasket failure recently. I also replaced the starter and solenoid and the motor burned about a quart of oil every 24 hours or running. The company rep from Briggs and the owner of CMD said Its not worth fixing and gave me a quote for a brand new system. This quote was MORE than quotes I received from local dealers and failed to take into consideration that the throw switch and all the wiring was in place therefore a new install should have been substantially discounted! It wasnt and Im now a happy customer of Ideal Electric. CMD has no idea what the words customer Service mean.

I understand with the wide spread power outage how busy a place like this can be. We called Monday and were told that someone would get back to us on parts that we needed with price. We did not hear from anyone so we called again Tuesday morning again were told someone would call as back...we called 4 times Tuesday with no call back but got plenty of attitude and each time were told someone would call back..we never heard back from anyone. We called again today and again was told someone would call us back after explaining that we have left several messages and never heard back from anyone, my husband was literally yelled at that they are busy and to give her the information on what we needed. My husband told her we have done that 2 times already and was told well do it again! This is very poor customer service if you say you are going to call someone back then do so! We ended up calling NH Bragg they were courteous, answered my questions and called me back with in an hour with pricing. Part were on order with in one hour after making the call.
