I tried calling to inquire about having my furnace serviced as I wanted to switch companies. The woman who answered the phone said they wouldn’t take over a furnace that another company had been servicing. I was told that they charge $90 an hour and he “doesn’t have time for that.” I don’t generally write reviews and certainly not negative ones but this interaction really struck me as negative. I don’t know if they are a bad company or just need someone else answering the phone. I called Maine Energy Inc and they were very nice and helpful.

Had annual lp service work done, unit was running excellent. Lp tech calls me downstairs ignitor assembly electrodes were touching, unit would not function he said in this condition? tech took over 1 hour to get a part only 10 miles away.He sat in my driveway when he got back talking for over ten minutes on his cell phone on my time will I waited in garage.Asked answering service last Friday to leave message to halt delivery for now.Tanks were over 70% full.Last monday my girlfriend called me they picked up both lptanks without notice?Would not recommend.

Not takeing new customers

I called as a new customer and they were very accommodating. Gail was excellent.

They told my husband they were sorry he had to be married to me after I stood up for myself when they tried to lie about repairs. If you search them the brother was charged with fraud so Im not surprised they are so terrible

We have purchased oil from D.A. Pearson for years. Recently, we ran out of oil. They offered to come that week for $90.00 extra, or wait a week for a regular delivery. We opted to wait for it. The driver came, stopped and drove away. When my wife called, they told her he has a lot of deliveries today, hell probably be back. They offered no explanation. There was no deep snow (3 in the yard) and no icy situation. Customer service is gone at D.A. Pearson. What a shame.

Bought oil, always have plenty on automatic delivery. Any issues with the system and they are right there any time. Bought a new system form them 3 years ago. Always pleasant on the phone and in person.

Let the other 1 star reviews speak for themselves. Theyll deliver the oil no problem but good luck ever getting a technician to come by. Want my business back? Do what you said you would do.

Regular service has always been good, friendly drivers and staff always available for questions and special requests. But the real difference is when you have something thats not routine - like a propane leak or your tank is on empty unexpectedly - and they have someone at your house within in hour AND they fix the problem and also check every contingency to be sure they fixed the problem for sure. Highly recommend and thankful for their speedy service and caring about their customers!

We chose D A Pearson 8 hears ago when we moved to Veazie. The previous owner used a large statewide company. After checking out prices, we found that Pearson was very competitive and have used them ever since. We have an annual service plan that provides peace of mind for our older furnace. Our experience with office staff and technicians has been excellent, always professional and courteous. We are moving out of their service area and will miss this local company. We highly recommend them to you.

Excellent customer service

Had bought oil from them for years, accidentally ran out of oil last year for the first time ever and called to see if I could get someone to deliver and restart the furnace the same day and was told to go to the corner gas station and get some #2 myself and they could possibly be over to do it the next day. They without notice changed the type of discount they had given on oil for years causing the price to go up. Choose to shop around and found a much cheaper price somewhere else. Now that my furnace had quit overnight, called to see if it could be looked at and they only service people they sell oil to. Terrible costumers service, will never again recommend.

Very helpful and awesome service

I called in August to have my yearly furnace cleaning. They gave me an appointment 2 months out. In October, they cancelled because of too many no-heat calls. I thought No problem. We rescheduled for December. I was home on the appointment day, due to a snowstorm. They slowed to a stop in front of our house. There were a couple inches of fluffy snow. I thought it strange they didnt come in the driveway. They called and said they couldnt service our furnace because we had oil delivered from another company. This is not true. Then they said they couldnt get in the driveway because there was another oil truck in the way. I was staring out at the empty driveway the whole time. Something is fishy. She said shed call the technician and get back to me. Its been an hour and no call. I have never experienced anything like it! They have lost our business.

We get our oil and are on auto delivery so we never have to worry about it and they have never let us run out or even get down to half a tank. Great service and nice office staff.

These comments i am reading do notsound like Heidi and Mike at all. When I lived in Maine these people were the best. Weather it be 100 gallons for my home or 10 gallons for my dozer they were always there and took care of me with a smile. Love these people

Terrible customer service. We ordered oil from these people in May they serviced our furnace in late October and we needed them to come look at our furnace and they wouldnt because they said they only service people who order oil....even though they were just here in October.

Friendly reception, reliable delivery of fuel.

This place has horrible customer service; they told me that they would be here to deliver oil for a week now and every day they say just one more day and they will be here. We have been out of oil for a couple days now and we just keep getting the run around from rude people. I am not impressed and will be finding somewhere else that sticks to their word as soon as possible.

Very poor customer service. We didnt spend enough money to buy heating oil I guess.

My 86 year old mother gets her oil from you and has been for many years. My dad died three years ago and ever since she has been treated rudely. She has been late on payments but does catch up but it hasnt been easy for her. Now she has to go down cellar and check and then call and order when she had always had automatic delivery.
