There are outposts in Redondo, El Segundo, and on the Strand. All are lovely places to enjoy a friendly healthy tasty casual meal with friends. Many vegan options but also tasty egg dishes, salads, soups, and more. California green and delicious.
I love this spot right on the strand in Hermosa. This is the perfect weekend brunch stop before spending a day at the beach. It is a casual place, but also so cute with views of the ocean. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and usually can move people in and out pretty quickly. You cant make a reservation so make sure to arrive a bit early and put your name down then walk along the beach until its time. Another option is to join the waitlist through Google. Parking is really easy in the structure nearby.The food: I have loved everything that Ive tried here. The food is reasonably priced and the portion sizes are large. The breakfast California quesadilla is absolutely amazing. It has scrambled eggs, applewood honey bacon, avocado, mushroom, cheese, and tomato on a flour tortilla served with pico de gallo, sour cream, and a side of fresh fruit. I order mine without the bacon and it is still delicious! The Eggs Benedict I highly recommend as well. They also have a healthier beach bod section of their menu with low cal and vegan options. Dont forget to pair your brunch with a coffee, mimosa, or juice (or all 3!!)
Right on the strand (one of surprisingly few ocean-view diners in Hermosa). Tasty, healthy, reasonably-priced foods with big variety. Tends toward Mexican and breakfast cuisines. Friendly service. Whats not to like. Popular place, so come early or add yourself to their virtual waitlist.
The best burger I had in a long time. Fried egg, guacamole. Perfect. Unbelieveable fried zuchini.
It was good. This was my first time and at least I found something on the menu I could eat but I give it a lower score because of the low quality of food I got served. I ordered a vegan omelet pretty much. And it said it had beef with it. I was expecting some kind of steak pieces or shredded beef over the omelet. It came with a hamburger patty! What is that! You dont fry up a hamburger patty and lay it on top a omelet. What a let down!

The food here is absolutely delicious. Finding allergy friendly food that actually tastes great can sometimes be hard to come across. Im not much for breakfast so I opted for gluten free chicken tenders. These little nuggets were so crunchy and tasty and were decent size. I did order a side of fries since mine did not come with them even though it says fries come with it. My partner opted for the daily breakfast special and the home run for our visit was their dog menu. For my pup I ordered the beagle special which was brown rice a d chopped applewood bacon, and safe to say she had a big smile on her face after she was finished eating.My main reason for trying this place out was for the already high rating for food and the fact that they were very inclusive for our dog. I do believe service could be better however I also understand it is still a pandemic and with limited staff they are doing the best they can.
Pretty bad experience all the way around. The table and chairs were soaking wet, I guess from being left out all night. I took my already wet napkin to wipe it down, literally 3 feet away from two employees staring at me while I did it. I guess because I expected too much for employees to actually do their job.The coffee was luke warm at best, the food was cold and the bread was kind of crusty.I hadnt been there in a couple of years because it was no longer a good experience but now I will make sure to never return.No that anyone that works there would actually care...Dont waste your money 🤢

I entered the restaurant to buy some water and the lady at the entrance made me feel unwelcomed. Every employee greeting a customer should be all smiles. This lady made me feel like I was an annoyance to her. The lady was Asian. Might have been the manager. Im not returning there again.,
Love this place! My 3 yr olds order came w fruit and he accidentally dropped his strawberry and was bummed out! Waiter gave him more strawberries!!! Everyone should try!
After eating here multiple times in our few visits to Hermosa I can say this is a favorite. From the breakfast to lunch choices you cant go wrong. We absolutely love the atmosphere and staff as well! Such a great spot ♡
Very nice outside eating with good all around menu. Great for couples, kids or family. Will get crowded, so go online and add your name to the waiting list. This is a unique feature for anyplace in Hermosa. Ok prices for a place right on the beach.
I put myself on the waiting online 1 hours before getting there, when was 15min to be my turn I got there, and they told me the wailist online doesnt work! So theyll put me in the waiting list like I just got there $&#&&#&&#,@*-#

Location is great, the breakfast burrito was probably the worst I have ever had. Sans bacon it tasted like there was zero salt used and zero time put into preparation.All of the upsell avocado in the burrito was at the bottom. They give you a tiny amount of salsa which added the only flavor.I would say, come here for the location, just be sure not to order a burrito, if you can even call it that.
Great atmosphere and a friendly staff. Love the outdoor tables. Sadly, they cook the chicken sausage and ground turkey on the same grill as the pork but the waffle, eggs and potatoes were great. Service is a little slow and I was given the wrong check at the end and a pen that didnt work but hey, its #beachlife
Food was delicious. I had the gluten-free veggie burger and sweet potatoes. They brought a plate with water for my dog and the cutest thing ever they have a dog menu for the dog haha😍 I thought it was very creative.

Been eating here for 10+ years and always received excellent service until today. A manager by the name of V reminded me just how quickly and easily the reputation of a locally owned establishment can be so tarnished. I asked V for the WiFi instructions after myself and several guests all encountered the same error message from the restaurants internet provider. I asked V if she could kindly reboot the system as so to allow the guests a chance to connect. She said absolutely not and became very snippy at the idea of even doing so. She then explained if I needed internet access I shouldnt be working from a restaurant. Not sure where she acquired her customer service skills, but that was less then a polite response. If management reads this -I highly suggest a re-education of your leadership on the basics of service related industry etiquette.

We were told by 2 girls in the front to wait for 10-15 mins. We waited for more than 30 watching people come and go. Then she said she ll clean this table for us and we re good to go. Meanwhile a guy came in and sat there so I was told she cant give me that place. Great service guys, smart people working.

The vibe is chill when you walk up. The hostess was pleasant but appeared to be a little overwhemed; I arrived about 10:30 ish. There was a twenty minute wait; however, I had only two in my party so we were seated right away. Our server was pleasant, she did not make an extra effort to connect, or make recommendations (it was my first-time), so I just winged it!The meal was okay; the coffee would be better made at home or go to a coffee spot afterwards, like I did. The omelettte I order was decent the avocados were bruised and place on top of my warm omelette. The hashbrowns were yummy, tho. Overall, the meal need more seasoning, a bit bland. Thank God for hot sauce.A testament of a delicious meal for me is --- no need to add/subtract any ingredients. They have the potential, but it was not actualized during this visit. Maybe next time😜

Their Loco Moco was just ok. Nothing to brag about. For the first time in my experience with Loco Moco, I actually had to add salt and pepper to this meal because it was the most BORING Loco Moco ever. The Tabasco and Cholua definitely helped a lot, but with Loco Moco you shouldn’t be able to do that. As for the service it was good. The hostess definitely does not know how to read her guest needs or wants. She’s like a robot. It would almost be best if they just automate that position if that’s the case. As for the server, it’s great that he was checking up on us, but odd that he wasn’t asking if we needed refreshments especially when my glass obviously needs a refill, but instead of asking for a refill or checking up on our libations, the server decides on dropping off the check. So we decided to ask for 3 more pairs of drinks on top of that tab.- Moral of the story, treat your oncoming guest with empathy and understanding, check up on your table and ask the most important question in hospitality, “Is there anything else you would like?”.

I only had the standard pancakes, eggs, bacon. And I loved it. Im normally not huge pancake guy but theres are just right I dunno how else to put it.Service was great, my cups were never below half full. Great view of the beach whether you sit inside or out.Im in town for work right now and I already know Im going there every morning to start my day.
Location alone is worth 5 stars. Its right on the beach, has a beautiful view of the ocean, right next to a fun bar, and is steps away from the pier. They also have great veggie options; the veg burger I had was delicious.

I thought that this place was a hamburger joint on the beach. Its not! Its a very good, natural food restaurant. They offer healthy choices like large salads with protein, and other plant based choices. They also offer good old American hamburgers as well. The ambiance is down and beachey. Located right on the Strand in Hermosa beach, you can watch volleyball as you dine. It is a better alternative to the other standard boardwalk restaurants in the area. Check it out for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly and they like for you to know there names.
Fabulous place with lots of vegetarian options, a great view, and very accommodating staff. Would definitely go back here!

It is a good restaurant I just thought it was more of a breakfast place. I got the carnita nachos and they were good. There wasnt too much sour cream or guacamole on it.

Wonderful ocean view and beachfront restaurant. Good service, great tasting food and amazing views. Prices were somewhat reasonable, but youre paying for the atmosphere mainly. Parking and tables fill up quickly, especially on weekends in clear weather, so be sure to arrive before 9am for breakfast. Highly recommended.
So good and I loved that they let us call in and put our name on a waiting list. So convenient, ESPECIALLY since you cant eat in doors right now!

This is the ideal Beach restaurant for breakfast or lunch. I visit every time Im visiting the LA area. Its right on the Strand, and an absolutely fantastic spot to take in the entire Beach atmosphere. And the food is great!

The manager has very low service skills, he seats his friends first and doesnt apologize for it. Also is a place that the owner is first than the guest. What a shame.Again Cris, this is about a manager not having the greatest service skills. We were 4 of us, saying that we only had a small table of two (which I think you were seated on a table for 4) and he never apologized and even asked if we could squeeze in a small table for a pair. Which that is unprofessional. I absolutely understand the COVID situation I have been working under this system over 5 months. Appreciating every customer and respecting the line is the most important phase under this new guidelines. An estimated time or how sooner we were seated doesnt compensated his behavior. Rodrigo actually aknowledged he didnt apologize and he didnt do it after neither. I did see when he was talking to you. But I respected your family time.Congrats for those 40 years, keep doing the good part and strive to be better everyday.Every owner can do whatever feels is right, great humans will take care of their customers first.It takes a lot for me to review a place with 1 star. I actually dislike it. This is my first bad review to any place. But the haugytyness of your manager was the most unappreciated service.
