Didnt even offer fresh fruit of any kind. Very small. Had 100.00 worth of items and had to be my own cashier with no place to put anything. If you were picking up 1 or 2 items might be ok. Im never going back

Very small store. Be prepared to NOT find the selection available at a Super Walmart.PROS:+Friendly staff. Man walking by offered help that I actually needed. (Located a box fan). Checkout area woman was cheerful and polite.+Store hours. Open late.CONS:-Low selection of items. Other grocery or hardware stores are nearby for complete selections.-Very narrow aisles with an abnormal department layout.

Herrin walmart is never more than a 3 star walmart lol for as long as I can remember, locally, its always been last choice.

The employees are usually very nice, the store is kept clean, & its convenient to be able to get (most) things I need from one location. Took 2 stars off because of the lack of sale/clearance items & items being out of stock when I need them. Some items that used to go on sale, are never on sale anymore & certain departments (yarn, fishing, electronics...) are often bare. Very disappointing & hoping the store stocks up soon.

Love the deals I can finded at walmart .best part is checking out what they have for clearances.

Pretty good well organized shelves. Had to use self checkout because there werent any employees checking out customers but that seems to be the same at all Walmart stores

Went in at a time when I knew it would be slower than usual as that is an old small Walmart. Had to get refund on new router Id bought there and lady real nice and gave me money back w no problems. Like I said its old small one but often stocked better than big stores.

Walmart Has No Electric Scooters Foe Seniors With Disabilities

Decent small town walmart. They only have to human checkouts. Rest are self checkout.

This is a small WalMart, but they had a few things I had been trying to find at other big local Walmarts. If the other Walmarts are sold out of something, Ill usually go check the smaller Walmarts, like this one, if I need the item(s) really bad. Plus, I found some things that the big Walmarts didnt carry. I felt like I had found a buried treasure. One nice plus, this WalMart is so clean and stocked, unlike the big Walmarts. The big ones almost always have the isles blocked with employees doing the online shopping and stock items that are sitting in the isles waiting for an employee to come put the items on the shelves. Shelves are empty and youre lucky if you can find what you came to get. I needed cat litter and went to the closest WalMart to me. They were out of every kind. I went for 3 days straight and finally got an employee to acknowledge I was talking to them. I asked if they had any cat litter. The employee went in the back and pushed out pallets full of cat litter. For 3 whole days not 1 employee put any cat litter out when they had every kind sitting in the stock room. So, I am very thankful this smaller Walmart is still open and dependable. Plus, the employees were really nice.

I dont have a clue to what is going on with Walmart and I mean Marion,Carbondale and Herrin.They seem to be out of everything the last few times I have been there it seems like they are going through to quit selling Sams Choice Sodas,any kind of candy and are just not stocked like they used to be.I am seriously thinking of starting to do my shopping at Kroger in Marion.I have met quite a few unhappy shoppers because of the same thing Out of everything

Very great customer service experience.

Herrin is my normal WalMart of my choosing. However, after my last experience with the store manager and two other staff not helping and standing around, made eye contact while I clearly needed assistance. I finally was directed to the short itemed line because I had a larger order. Some if my items fell out of my cart and broke. I was THEN offered help by the same ladies that were standing around, after waiting quite some time to use the main desk. I had large items such as storage bins and trash cans, which would have been easier to use the checkout lane with the conveyor belt. They were closed though. Not really happy with the minimal selection on items either. Nor the fact of watching plants dying because theyre not being given proper care. The only good thing about Herrin WalMart are few of the long term staff members and the pharmacy makes you feel at home, except the pharmacist Bobby. All the other members of the pharmacy are amazing, know my name, my kids names and I really enjoy that. Id say with going for at least 5-6 years, I enjoy feeling at home. Otherwise, I hope Walmart steps it up and appreciate the good workers that they do have and reprimanded the proper people, even if they are in a higher position. Thanks!

Its fine, its not a super store, needs more selection. Otherwise its good, staff is friendly and helpful and the pharmacy is very good.

THE WORST! Its hard to get customer service they are usually out of stock on ALOT of stuff.. Whats with all the selfchecks...i come to shop and have people doing a job by checking me out..do I get paid to run self check machines? So why take away a job? But I dont reccomend this walmart at all!

I see they are really serious about self checkout here..... only one cashier and a dozen self scan...........Remember those empty registers used to have people at them once apon a time......... we need to stop helping them get rid of employees.

The smallest Walmart Ive ever been to, which isnt a problem by itself. However, the aisles are cramped together and there are no electric carts, which makes it difficult for someone like me with mobility issues. Otherwise, it was clean and the staff was friendly. The photo shows the store end to end.

Actually i did a drive by for another bag of potting soil gots to get this garden finished.

Staff is friendly and were able to help us with what we needed.

Got in and had to check myself out.

Very small walmart, has a crowded feel that would render a claustrophobic person sick. Despite the size, they manage to Neatly pack the shelves with much of the same Walmart items found at neighboring stores. At the checkout there are generally at least 2 employees staring u down as u make ur final purchases so be prepared to feel as if u where a suspicious character at the check out and youll be all set to shop here.

No one is stocking the shelves, you have employees running around with a pull cart filling curbside orders and no one is stocking the shelves fir reg customers. Thats in all Walmarts that Ive been in lately except the one in Herrin illinois.

Herrin Wal Mart is a smaller store but had everything I needed.

Definitely the smallest Walmart Ive been to, at times I felt like I was in small town general store or dollar tree. Its a cool experience, you can find things other larger Walmarts dont have but of course there are tons of things it wont have since the store is so small.

Management isnt the friendliest or very customer service oriented

They do not enforce the insane mask policy, which is good. They are trying to control you and lead you away from Me through the fake pandemic!

Not your typical Walmart layout. Employees are super friendly and helpful.Had a question about the location of a product and even though she was over the self check out section and didnt even know where the product would be located, she went out of her way to find out and direct me to the correct employee who could help me asking them to meet me at the section of where the product would be.

One of the worst store that we have in marion

I was very disappointed to see that many customers were not wearing mask and those same people were not following the safe distancing rules. If they want to endanger their lives fine, but they have no right to to endanger others by not following the guidelines set forth by the CDC. Walmart should also be enforcing these rules.

Used to be a good place to shop. Pharmacy personnel are friendly, but the front end personnel especially customer service needs to be retrained. Very abrupt and rude when answering questions. I will only get my meds there from now on unless pharmacy personnels attitude changes for the worse.
