Omar and his wife (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name!) are consummate professionals. They were able to completely resurrect (and improve) a vintage tube amp that was sitting dead in storage for nearly a decade. The price was more than fair and probably the best you’ll find around here. I cannot recommend these guys enough for any of your audio equipment needs, especially guitar amps. I hope I don’t have to come back any time soon, but I know that if I ever have a problem with any of my amps that these are the people I will call without hesitation.

I found Omar at Browner Sound through the Google site, read the reviews, and decided to give him a try. I have a 1968 Fender Vibrolux amp, that I have owned for many years, but have not used in the past 8 years or so, and also moved to Florida about 3 years ago. I recently have been trying to play guitar again, and turned on the amp, and of course it was having a lot of background noise that was hard to describe, but when Omar asked me if it sounded like the wind was going through the speakers, that was exactly what it sounded like. I knew I found the right guy. Well the amp is even better than I remember it being. Omar changed two capacitors, two resistors, and one tube, plus found me a vintage handle which was missing from my amp. At first he told me it would be about a week and a half before he got to it, but had it back to me in less than a week. Highly recommend him. Plus he plays guitar, so he understands.

Omar has done many things from teching my SSL, repairing tube guitar amps to building custom pieces of boutique gear for me. He exceeds all expectations everytime. He is ultra professional and transparent and a master at his craft. Cannot recommend him enough to anyone searching for this service!!

Rolled up with an SP1200 that had not been functioning for years. I initially took it to the good folks at Technique Records only to be recommended by Craig to peep Omar about the machine being serviced. Omar is the owner of Browner Sound Audio Equipment Repair! Craig suggested I give him a call ASAP. A few hours later I was at their shop waiting outside while he gave it a quick go over. 30 minutes later, I had a working SP and was on my way. These cats and their services are priceless. PAY THEM WHAT THEY ASK! Its well worth it.

I recently purchased an Yamaha Mg12xu. when i used it it didnt work for me, i thought i had broken it. When i called and spoke to Omar, he had advised me that call Yamaha, it made me a little angry. He told me the reason is to save me some money, which made me happy, but then proceeded to walk me thru the steps of my mixer. he helped me correct my mistakes and didnt even charge me. Thank you!

If you have high end or pricey vintage music equipment that needs repair this place is the best. These guys are true professionals who have extensive knowledge and experience in this very specialized field. It is truly a passion for them that shows in the quality of their work and the excellence of their customer service. I was reluctant to leave my beloved Mojave Plexi 45 combo amp in the hands of strangers. I read all the glowing reviews on the web site and doubted their authenticity. I am telling you right now these guys are 100% legit. Now my review will be right up there with the rest of them. My amp has never sounded so good and they fixed it quickly. And most surprising of all their prices are reasonable and they guarantee their work.

I have gone through 4 different sound companies and experienced headache after headache until finally dealing with Omar from Browner. In Miami good business practices are hard to come by, and Browner sound is a breath of fresh air. They were on time, specifically reviewed what they would do, and how much it would cost (VERY reasonably priced in comparison with local competition), and communicated with me throughout the entire process to ensure I understood what they were doing. They were efficient, thorough, and extremely understanding about helping us achieve our sound goals. We have a 21 speaker commercial grade sound system that took previous sound companies hours to try and figure out what was wrong. Omar and his team figured it out in no time! I contacted Browner Sound for a repair I needed to have done on a 1986 Roland Alpha Juno 2 Synthesizer that I purchased locally. Since Ive had very bad experiences with other local shops I was a bit hesitant but Omar set my mind at ease, he is a very knowledgeable and a very kind person. Only after about a week he rewired the entire power supply board capacitors which had been installed incorrectly, and he also replaced the screen with a new bright LCD. This synth is as good as new thanks to him. After seeing how good of an experience I had with this repair, I went to drop off an old 1963 Epiphone EA-35T Devon Tremolo Guitar Amp that needed to be recaped, he went ahead and took care of it in the same way as the synth, efficiently and professionally. Im very happy with Browners Sound service and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them for any vintage instrument and equipment repairs. The only person I found who could fix my electric sax out of 20 repair shops and was able to properly fix my Roland keyboard amp after two different shops previously worked on it and failed. He also fixed my Roland Fantom keyboard.On top of the great work he does, he charges the best prices! Make sure to tip him!
