BUYER BEWARE!! I contacted OBR marine to check out and inspect a boat I was thinking about buying after having a boat owner friend of mine recommend them to me. I asked them how much they charged to inspect a boat and they said $160. They sent an employee named Jonathan to check out my 29 foot fountain. Jonathan called me back to tell me the boat had a rotten floor but the motors were in good shape. I asked him for a ball park figure of how much a job like that would cost and he said somewhere around $3,000. I decided to buy the boat. I took it to obr for a trim pump, a stater and a couple other things, no problems. A few months later, I took it to them to get an estimate to fix the rotten floor. The business owner, Orestes SR., examines and inspects my boat and informs me that not only is my floor rotten, my stringers are rotten as well. I said, wow why didnt you guys let me know about this the first time you went out to inspect the boat before I bought it? Jonathan inspected the boat before I bought it, why didnt he check/look at, what you just checked/looked at? Does he not know? Is he not experienced enough or something? What went wrong? Orestes the father said not to worry, that I should try to sell the boat and if Im unable to sell it, they would work with me to have it fixed. I hesitantly said ok and put the boat up for sale. Many months later, after a failed attempt to sell, I returned with the boat to see how they would work with me to have this resolved. Orestes Sr said that it wasnt their fault AND that they told me the floor was rotten and they werent responsible. I told him that they were responsible because I was aware that the floor was rotten, but they failed to inform me that the stringers were rotten until after I already bought the boat. Had they told me about the bad stringers, i wouldnt have bought the boat. LONG STORY SHORT. These guys refused to help me get out the situation and refused to even take my calls after a while. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. STAY AWAY.

They seem knowledgeable, however, their prices are crazy! got quoted $180 per carb plus parts to clean and replace gaskets on each one. My motor has 3 carbs so it would be $540 plus parts. Took it to Bass pro shops off of Griffin and I-95 and they charged me $250 for all 3 carbs plus parts.Pros:Convenience, time to perform workCons:PRICE!! way off others prices. Im guessing since they have so much work, they dont care much about small jobs and charge high for their inconvenience.
