Not much to say other than Anthony at D&B Book Binders did an incredible job of restoring my mothers cookbooks, with short notice, and in time for mothers day. Couldnt be more pleased. Just hope well be able to hold out until Sunday before we surprise her with her new and improved cookbooks! Very reasonably priced too.

I had my moms cookbook sent in to be redone as the poor thing was falling apart. Because of my work hours I wasn’t able to drop it off but instead had to mail it. Anthony was super helpful in calling me as soon as the cookbook arrived. Once it was complete I was amazed with the results. I am forever grateful to D&B Book Binders for taking such good care of my moms cookbook and in making it look like new again. Excellent book quality especially the color print was good too. Great price points as well. I didnt receive an email or a call when my book was ready. I called and the representative on the phone said it was ready for a few days. I informed that person I never received any communication about the status. D & B bookbinders is an authentic, first-class book bindery. The owners are so knowledgeable and true artisans. The books we had bound were very old family treasures brought from Cuba in the 60s and falling apart. D & B not only put them together again but the craftsmanship and artistry were beyond expectation. Gorgeous volumes with gold labels on spine and the prices were very reasonable. You will love this place and their work.

I had an amazon rental textbook valued at $200. The hinge of the book tore away from the spine and I had to return the book promptly. D&B repaired it quickly, and it looked like new afterwards. This saved me from paying the cost of the book.Fantastic craftsmanship and absolutely kind people.

I happened to find D&B online and I have had a superb experience on all three projects theyve done for me. I purchased a super rare book which was no longer in production and only 3 being sold around the world. So I went ahead and bought the one I thought was in the best condition. Once received I was excited only to find out that all the pages are coming off individually from spine when I open the book. Needless to say D & B book binders where the ONLY company locally that could and DID fix my paperback book. I spoke with Anthony this morning to do a rush order on my dissertation to meet a deadline. He was efficient in receiving the order and got started on it right away. I picked it up from D & B Book Binders this afternoon. Anthony was so nice. He was genuinely excited to present the bound copy of all my hard work to me. I expressed interest in seeing the printing process so he gave me a tour of some of the amazing work that they do there. If you need anything printed and bound with a creative presentation, I highly recommend this business. I look forward to taking a class on restoration and binding that he says they offer about twice a year once I catch up on sleep.

When I sought out D&B Book Binder’s services, I received the best customer service experience I ever had.I called D&B Book Binder on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 and spoke to Anthony about binding my dissertation. I was on a strict deadline as my 7-year doctoral timeline was approaching and I needed my dissertation bounded as soon as possible to meet my deadline. I chose to rush the order and Anthony said it would be ready Friday or Monday since the next day was a holiday (July 4th.) Additionally, he said he would deliver the book to the University. However, I told him I would pick up the book and deliver it to the University to ensure it would get there on time. I was very nervous about my deadline approaching so I preferred to take matters in my own hand. To my surprise, a few hours later I received an e-mail from the University alerting me that my book had been bounded and delivered on the same day I placed the order! I felt such a sense of relief and couldn’t be happier that I no longer had to worry about my dissertation deadline! I was guaranteed that I would received my bound thesis 10 days after I paid for it. Unfortunately, it has been 25 days since I placed and paid for the order and the owner Anthony has not returned my phone calls. I have just disputed the charge on my credit card and I sent an email to FIU requesting that they change this business they recommended to students such as myself. It is unfortunate that I will not be able to support a local business and that I will now have to wait even longer to have my thesis bound and sent to my family.

Do not, DO NOT contract these people for anything. They will reply decently enough (even this was like pulling teeth) to attempts to get a quote and take your order. After this, they will fall off the planet. Contacting them is near impossible, they wont deliver the product, answer your phone calls, or your emails.EDIT: About 1 year after I had given up on ever receiving this book, I received all of my requested prints.

Anthony took a book that was over 100 yrs old and about ready to come apart and fixed it as good as new. Solid. I mailed him the book and he mailed it back. He took the payment over the phone. All went well.

They never replied to my email. I called and asked if they received my email and they said yes, but that they couldnt help me. This was for a quote for 6 books for leather recovering.
