Always have the freshest fruits and vegetables. Love the chicken and pork shish kabobs. Deli counter is so clean and the rice pudding is delicious. All the employees are very polite and helpful.

I was At the store with my throw boys ages 7,6, and 3. The three year old was in the cart, and the other two besides me. The manager who was completely rude very disrespectful comes running to us saying she saw my son who was standing by me the whole time break the olive oil glass jar. I was completely taken back by her attitude asked by boys who don’t lie by the way, and she kept saying I saw them. I asked to watch the cameras she claimed they don’t work, I am so annoyed because there were other kids, but her to come attack us like that was unnecessary I will never be returning to this store! Lady learn to stop being bitter the world don’t need people like you who hates kids!

The best imported foods from Greece. A bit pricey, but worth it. Very good selection and service.

We travel from Indiana because we always find what we need in Greek products. Produce,breads, meats are great. Clerks are very helpful. Clean store. Easy on & off of 294 tollway.

They have the best olive salad

I like 95th but sometimes their produce can be poor quality. Especially green peppers and grapes. Their pricing is good usually, and they have the best pumpkin seeds around, but its disappointing when you make a special trip there and the produce you want looks bad.

Variety of grocery, produce and especially Greek items. Employees were very friendly and welcoming. Busy but not overcrowded. Employees seemed to be practicing covid-19 safety precautions. Cashiers did not have long lines. Checkout was quick and efficient.

The best place to shop for produce clean and organized..

Grocery stores like this are a gem. You cannot expect the selection of a full Jewel or Marianos but if youre going into a 10,000 sq ft store thinking that youre really missing the point.The produce is consistently good, not organic, but thats not their thing, its well managed and looked after. The deli and butcher counter is really good. The premade kebabs they have are really amazing. Kind of Greek, kind of Middle eastern, good all around.Lots of ethnic foods in the aisles from eastern European to Middle Eastern to Greek to Hispanic.The only place they kind of fall down on is their bread selection, they do some baked in store baguettes, but I dont think they get the turnover to keep a lot of the local bakeries breads moving off the shelves. They mostly rely on Turano, which honestly is just ok lately. I dont think Ive seen Gonnella or Chriss rye bread there which is a shame.

Delicious bread

I use to come here a lot before COVID-19 and I was always pleased by the service but ever since COVID started mask have not been mandatory here. I always see the boss stocking shelves and she and the Other employees never tell anyone to wear their mask.

Good store to pop in and pick up produce, which is usually competitively priced. If your the thrifty type, they have past prime produce on a mobile rack for pennies on the dollar. Some items are a bit pricey if they’re not on sale. Extensive meat/deli counter with lamb, rabbit, seafood, poultry and beef. The staff is helpful and courteous.

I asked the cashier to put one on and she did the same. My husband has had 3 cancers and 1 kidney is it too much to ask for a little respect? Came in this week, saw fruits with mold, bread with mold & the snack bars I purchased had mold on them as well (which were packaged in airtight plastic).Quite unsatisfied.

Its hard to love a store. I love this store. I lived in Palos Hills for 17 years and shopped here regularly. I took it for granted that there are stores like this all over the area. Then, I moved to NW Indiana about 7 years ago and discovered that there are not stores like this everywhere. The produce is just the tip of the iceberg. They have the best deli counter in the area with awesome prices and friendly service. Moving to the butcher counter, great service, prices and super fresh meats. They even have rabbit, lamb and marinated kabobs . I drive up here weekly, a 50 mile trip. Loyal forever.

Been going there for over 20 years. Best prices, in and out quick with an ample mats, cold cut and fish, service. All you need in a medium size market plus plenty of parking and the turnover means, food freshness!

Cheap produce with a decent selection. Unfortunately the butchers that work there are limited to what theyre allowed to butcher. Asked for a leg of lamb to be butterfly. Butcher stated that the manager no longer allows it. Why have a butcher if you dont let them do their job? Charge me for the bone if you must, just let the butcher do the job you pay him for.

This market is great if you’re looking for specialty items but not great if you’re looking for a deal on groceries. Even the sale prices are surprisingly high on everything.

Absolutely love this place Good produce and bakery items in large size packaging. The deli department is good but often very crowded. Offers a selection of seafoods and side salads; Many canned goods some canned soups and packaged soups.Milk and Dairy products similar to the Jewel Osco nearby. Not the place to shop for Health and beauty aids .Does a great job focusing. on their food product.

Due to the varied nationalities of the Hickory/Palos area, this grocery & produce store caters to them all: Polish, Greek, Czeck, etc.Some items are a bit $ pricey $, but thats to be expected - as theyre imported from the countries of said origin.Very expansive meat, produce & deli departments.

This produce market is diverse in their offerings, there are products for polish,greek,spanish,arab peoples. They have a very large selection of produce with prices that you cannot beat. They have a very large deli/meat counter that covers items you dont find at chain markets. And last but not least the canned goods(non perishable items) has so many offerings to the consumer that you feel like a kid in the candy store😁. Between variety and the very well placed prices you wont go any where else. You get more bang for your buck and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, if they dont have an item they order it for you or help you find out who has the item at the best price

This place is disgusting. They sold expired and rotten meat. They actually covered up the rotten part with the price label. Along with rotten moldy fruits and vegetables. Their chicken had a horrible stench once taken out of the packaging. I called to calmly express my issue and the manager cut me off and said HAVE A NICE DAY! then hung up on me. My mom has also purchased items there multiple times having to back to exchange her rotten food. DISGUSTING!!

The store Manager does not honor the prices displayed on their signage. If this is how this manager treats customers what does this say about how he treats his employees? Is he not fair to them as well?There was a banner in their window facing 95th street and a sign posted where the eggs were stocked stating 2 dozen extra large eggs for $1.00. No quantity was stated.I went to purchase 10 dozen. According to the cashier, I could only purchase 4 dozen. I stated to her that no quantity was stated on neither sign posted. She went to discuss the issue with a woman who I presume was a supervisor. The cashier & I both went back to the where the eggs were stocked, I showed her the sign.When we got back to the register there was a man, who I presume was the manager stating 4 was the limit. He stated “It was stated in the sales paper that was mailed”. I said “I do not receive your sales paper mailings”. “I saw the banner displayed on the window in addition to the sign posted at the display and neither one stated a quantity.” Clearly he felt his unfair decision was right.I wish I could post the pictures of the signs taken. The right thing to do was to take ownership and acknowledge his error, and allow me to purchase the eggs for the stated priced. At that point, correct the signage for future customer purchases.

Excellent for their choices in meats and deli products, they also offer plenty of treats from around the world and cooking supplies if your looking to make something a little more exotic/traditional, if you dont go for the food then you should at least leave with some of the foreign candies or ice cream which are delicious.

Great place for impossibly hard to find ethnic foods.Shish-ka-bob are unique and absolutely delicious.Rolled grape leaves (dolmades) are imported from Greece.Frozen Siberian dumplings are impossible to find except for this place.My wife is Asian so I buy her an entirely whole octopus. (Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it expertly prepared).Meats, cheeses, and lots of ethnic foods and flavors abound.This is a terrific place with genuine stuff.Unless you’re willing to drive to Chicago, I strongly recommend this place.Don’t leave without the shishkabob

Produce sucks,customer service lacks and parking is ridiculous

Normally don’t have an issue here, been shopping here for years. But recently I picked up some chicken breasts and 3 days later they smelled awful, took them back to the store in hopes to just be able to get some new ones assuming it was just a bad batch. Awful customer service, was basically told that I need to cook my chicken within the day when I buy it from there. This is so absurd to me and the manager refused to do anything to alleviate the issue. Never in my life was I unable to cook chicken 3 days after buying, this just is confirmation as to how long the food sits on their shelves. Good customer service would have been to give me a credit or to give me some new chicken, but now the store has lost customers and gained a bad review. Well done .... sigh!
