Talk about bargain pricing and a new way to grocery shop. They mostly carry their own store branded items but Ive found a few general brands around the store.
Great employees, different selections of food, fresh produce, seafood and meat!! I love this storw
Fantastic produce, fish and seafood. Very fresh and good prices.
Always love this grocery store! My family has been going here for years. Staff are so nice, and there are so many different options! The prices are decent too.
Coffee is decent .. hate that at this age they need a minimum $10 for credit card. I understand that, add 10-20 cents more in your price of a coffee, rather than creating that inconvenience of carrying cash
Large oriental grocery store. I will be back
Good mix of American and Asian food. Lots of choices. Meat, seafood vegetables and of course noodles and dumplings
Amazin market! Great deals every week! Seafood and meat departments all freshly packed/ prepared. Overall great market to shop oriental goods
Excellent selection of hard to find Asian ingredients.
Its one of the best market I ever visited. Everything was fresh . Its definitely a 5 star
At the end of each month, they will have special offer of buy 1, get 1 free. This does not apply to all items. Some of it.
Dark and gloomy interior which makes the merchandise they sell appear cheap. They need to renovate. Otherwise, they have all the necessary goods of a korean supermarket. Prices are a bit more than Hmart.
Good to shopping and not much people, good service. but little not enough kind of product.(but almost enough korean product)recently this market is better then before.fresh vegetable is ok.meat is ok.snack sosoinstant noodles ok.it is not so much discount event in normal days.it is good to shopping on first day of month.
Very good selection, clean, and fair prices.
Wow, this place went downhill. It used to be so good, now they have nothing. The produce is not fresh at all. The only good thing is there BOGO sale every 1st day of the month.
This place is heaven for meat lovers. My regular place to buy pork meat. It’s neither lean nor fatty but perfectly balanced. The place smells (like any other meat shop) but the staff makes their best to keep it clean and smell good. This is also a good place to get some good Far East Asian groceries, utensils and food.
Food was delicious and the portions were huge. Very nice people and very nice price. Would highly recommend trying this place.
This is a great Asian store, not just Korean but great Japanese snacks and drinks too. Sometimes I go on the 1st of the month to take advantage of their buy 1 get 1 free sale. Its not 100% free but I calculated prices and its at least 50% off. Since we buy a lot of rice, pancakes mixes, flours, etc., savings add up. They also have lots of fresh and frozen fish. You can buy fresh sushi rolls, korean pancakes, mochi, kimchi, and even massage chairs! Staff is always polite and kind. They answer my questions satisfactorily. Overall a great and affordable one stop for your groceries needs.
Overall, this is a fairly good Korean American supermarket. This store is a good alternative to going to H Mart on the weekends. This is especially true if you only need a few items. Sometimes, on the weekends H Mart in Jericho is just a little bit too crowded. You can come here if you dont want to deal with the crowds at Hmart.
Great place, head over on the first of the month when they do buy one get one free on many items. I love their seasoned meats. Just a heads up, they keep the store meat locker cold so... Be aware.
Lots of stuff you cant get at big chains plus all your staples. A really great produce department with a wide variety and their stock is actually fresh unlike the shoprite down the road. Plus they have things other grocers dont sell like dried mushrooms and sea weed. Their shelf products can be a little pricey but their produce is very fair. They also have a whole isle of instant soups which has introduced me to a lot of great ones I cant find elsewhere. Their staff is also very nice. Especially at the attached bakery.
Easy to see right off of the Corner of South Oyster Bay Road and Old Country Road servicing Plainview and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Good for Asian fruits and vegetables. Nice staff. Theres a restaurant next door.
Everything for the Asian chef. Clean and well presented. Gorgeous produce. Great selection of everything.
Great variety of Asian produce, packaged foods, and fresh offerings. They sometimes stock hard to find items, but the only reason I did not give 5 stars is because often I have experienced that I find a special item that I fall in love with here, but when I return they never seem to have it a second time, and even when I ask at the customer service counter they can never seem to re-stock it, case in point their packaged Thai iced tea tea bags. Appeared once and then never again. Owners should consider stocking customer requested items to try and move to a 5 star rating.
A lot of choice and great prices
I have not been here in a long time. I was so dissapointed. The entire place is dirty. Thefresh fish smell is so bad it assaults you when you walk in the door. Loaded flat carts with boxes waiting to be unpacked were blocking isles. The store used to be spotless. Not coming back anytime soon.
They had everything I was looking for, everything was priced well and their seafood section was amazing! Everything was clean and well-arranged. Well worth the half hour drive from where I live ✨
Good store
Good range of product both domestic and international. You cant find everything you would abroad in the market but there are some surprisingly hard to find items.
Very spacious and product quality got better. They offer discount price on fruits and you can get good deals on certain fruits. It depends on the days that you go. Its better to make a free membership card. You can collect the points every time you spend and get a coupon after you reach certain points.
My favorite grocery. Always fully stocked with sale items. Great bargains. Well run store and pocket friendly prices.Highly recommended!!
Well stocked market, carries a large variety of Asian products, specializing in Korean goods. Weekends they frequently offer samples of some of the different foods. There is a bakery, fresh produce (including many different kinds of mushrooms), refrigerated and frozen foods, fresh fish and meat, geared toward an Asian meal.
Very unique Korean based grocery store with fresh fruits and veggies to pantry staples. Surprisingly helpful and friendly staff. You can get some good sushi there also.
Very clean but expensive I went for leychie nuts n they had flies in the bag ukk.the bubble tea was good but bubbles were hard which meant old
Nice people, they try to help when you dont know what items are.
The sushi grade fish we got worked perfectly for our home made sushi
Great selection. Fantastic little Korean bakery.
A Korean Supermarket with great prices and promotions on the First of the month. Best beer prices in the area for Pacific Rim beer
Great place to shop for anything Asian. The Korean restaurant next door is a good stop off prior to shopping here. I wish I lived closer.
Great market.. produce is excellent. Many fruits and vegetables Ive never even heard of. Red skinned sweet potatoes 99¢ a pound!
Best seafood department in the Bethpage area, but if you dont read or speak Korean, shopping can be frustrating. Employees and customers always seem friendly, but most cant help me because of the language barrier. Still, if youre into cooking, its worth it to put in the extra effort. Also, best produce department around. I also like that they permit evangelism on their property. Thank You Jesus!
Great Asian food choices. Decent prices on Fresh fish but make sure ask them if it is from today or a few days old. At times they will try to sell you few days old fish if you dont ask.
Very different from the average supermarket. They have foods from all over Asia, and elsewhere. Very nice people. But the place is not very clean. Kinda like going to canal Street. But cleaner.
I have been shopping here about twice a month for the last six years, but have grown disgusted at the poor sanitary standards there ( you would not even want to wash your hands in the lavatory in back ; use the ones in the Canaan Bakery in front ! ) . Yesterday I noticed a young Hispanic employee who barely spoke English place boxes of dumplings directly on top of those already out in the freezer section, instead of simply turning around to the box on his cart . He pretended to take my advice and not do so, but continued after I went down the nearest aisle . None of the adult male Korean employees spoke English, and the young girl at Customer Service made excuses for the employee, as well as for another sanitary problem I brought to her attention . No manager was present, and none was present today when I called today . Because of other issues Ive noticed, buying fruits and vegetables there can be problematical . Certainly, the employees stocking vegetable and frozen food bins have little regard for basic sanitary standards . Confine your shopping to sauces, condiments, sweets, etc . you can not conveniently find elsewhere . My lady and I do love the seafood counter . Canaan Bakery in front, owned and managed separately, is well worth a visit, its multigrain and other breads being especially worth trying ( and are 30% off after 7 PM ) . Again, I once loved this place, but will now rely on H Mart on 107 for frozen East Asian products, and Stop and Shop of King Kullen for fresh produce .
At the end of each month, they always have a buy one get one free on selected items, it helps .
They have a large variety of fresh vegetables, fruits and fish, at an affordable prices. Its a very nice and clean place. I love the bakery specially the cakes they are so cute and unique. They also have a small shop where you can find corean and Japanese cookware and dinnerware and some kitchen tools, the beauty and accessories space is fancy and easy to find the last beauty products.
Went there for dinner couple of times - ordered the drinks, appetizers and main course - Paela seafood delight. Awesome food and service. Would definitely recommend.
This isnt the H&Y I usually shop at but since my friends lived near by we decided to go here for some K BBQ ingredients.I liked the produce. It was super fresh and they had many items on sale. The meat selection was good but could have a bit more variety and more fresh meat than the frozen meat they had. The marinade was on the meat section so that was convenient. For American foods like bread and this place doesnt have much in variety. Also I feel like all the aisles were placed without much planning. At least thats what it seemed to me. Otherwise I prefer H&Y over H mart.
I am addicted to Han Yang
Interesting variety of exotic unusual foods. Prices looked a little high though and the packages tended to be too large for a single guy. Do I really want 17 servings of rice vermicelli?Since so many of the products were strange to me, I wished they served samples and demonstrated recipes like at the large Japanese market in River Edge, NJ, but H&Y didnt do that. The aisles were narrow and crowded. The bakery/coffee shop at the front was a welcome respite.
Great place to find authentic Asian condiments
Very expensive.
This Asian specialty market needs some updating. Nice selection of well priced produce. Fish dept is interesting and inexpensive. Great selection of teas, sauces, ramen and tofu. Much smaller store than H Mart. I hope they update the store soon.
Very nice people. Needs a good tofu section.
Good selection of Asian groceries. This grocery focuses on Korean products. They do carry some Chinese and other Asian cuisine items, but only the most common ones such as sauces.
Great Asian grocery store outside on Queens, really happy we found this place and now we don’t have to drive an hour to Queens in order to buy bitter melons dang it!
If you like to cook korean food... This is a really nice store to get Korean goods. Great meat and side dishes. A good place
Good, clean & reasonable prices
Good Korean food options here. Food may not be cheap but if you need any Asian ingredients for your meals I would recommend going here. This place has decent parking and not overwhelming packed.
Full selection of Asian food groups . Place is well lit, clean and complete selection Korean and associated Asian foods. Produce department is excellent
Very good market. I love getting their sushi and great choice of soup bowls. Very fresh produce
Personally, I use this store for tuna, salmon, pickled ginger and Wasabi. I enjoy sashimi. Sometimes you can find good prices on meat, chicken and pork. Hard time with staff because of language barrier. Some do not speak English. The shoppers are friendly and helpful.
Store sucks for years the worker are undocoment and ice need to take them they are rude and dont know nothing about food product.... The mangers should be ashame... The women are great but the Spanish workers need to go.
Great place to shop
They have all the good snacks and drinks you can get in Japan. Ramune for days. 💯
Seafood department guy was honest and told me he did not want to sell me old seafood and recommend something else which was fresher
Not that clean playing vulgar rap music thank God it was only there to buy case of water for the job site
Not crowded, but fully stocked.
Great store for asian delicacies. Veggies are top notch. Bok choy, oyster mushrooms and pork belly are some of the standouts, but the variety of noodles, rices, sauces and spices are equally impressive. I have yet to not find an ingredient to substitute from here for my asian dishes. Most items are labeled with English as the 2nd language, but staff is very helpful.if you know what you are looking for just ask.
Have loved this place for years. Great place to stock up on Asian groceries. Prices are great.
This is an great Asian supermarket! If youve ever wanted to try your hand at making your own sushi or sashimi, but were too afraid, this is the place for you. They have sushi-grade cuts of various fish, ready for you to slice up at home, in the seafood section. Plus they have the seaweed sheets and sticky sushi rice, wasabi paste, a zillion different kinds of soy sauce. And if you want some of the specialty rolls that are beyond a novice skill level, theres an independent sushi takeout shop within the store within the supermarket! BTW - the market has thousands of other Asian foods unrelated to sushi, as well.
Good place to shop...some prices little high but some priced well too
Near my house for convenience but its too cold in the storeI cant stay for a long for shopping.
I buy everything I need for Korean cuisine here.
Some items on the shelves can be short dated, so I recommend checking the exp dates before buying... other than that I think they have good selections of korean food products and meat (bulgogi meat is very good quality for the price). I can sometimes find better deals than H mart here when they have weekly specials or sales.
Very nice people unlike that other Korean market in Hicksville H Mart I think its called
Good store for Korean and Japanese snacks and groceries. They are very clean and very well organized. They also have a good variety of Korean and Japanese beers. There is a separate Sushi bar and bakery at this location, annexed to the store itself. Theres not many check out counters so there maybe lines. The parking lot is dilapidated as of 2016 with several potholes, uneven path and overall a poor shape. Dont let that stop you from shopping here however ;)
Prefer H mart over this place. Staff is rude. Isles are messy. Most things dont have english description.
Because its awesome. It has everything were looking for except for Jasmine tea from Master Kong. Hot Pot night? Got you covered. Bakery next door will suit your needs.
Dismal looking. It is more of a Korean store than an Asian market. No acknowledgement from staff when you pass them. Better go to nearby H-Mart.
All manner of Asian everything, plus decent variety of reasonable, fresh produce.
Neat, clean. Very friendly and helpful workers. Carry a lot of different Korean food.
Good for a seafood, produce, or a quick grocery visit. The 1st of every month is BOGO of pretty much the entire store
First the positive, they carry a variety of Oriental products, mostly Korean. Thats abouit it. The negative is that they tend to overcharge you at the register. I always weight my shrimp and veggies before paying and twice they overcharge me, by keeping their hands on top of the items while they are on the scale. When I complain they get an attitude, but they had to refund me some money after weighting the products at the office scale. Will be looking to shop somewhere else. Suggestion, keep your eyes on the register and speak up, this way they will stop this bad pratice.
Large selection. But overcharged by 20 cents a lb for garlic.
Good selection of veggies and fruits and Asian items. A bit on the pricier side for a grocery store but less crowded than H Mart.
Wide selection of items. I asked an employee for help finding some obscure items and he was able to locate them for me in seconds and was very friendly.
My favorite place to be. Great food with reasonable pricing, great coffee/tea, the things you need are easy to find, friendly staff, clean store
Overwhelming selection of Asian items, fresh produce, sushi counter, bakery with delightful staff. Cant wait to go back and explore their fresh meat and seafood!
I was there around 1 PM weekday and there was virtually no customer but me. Some products are good price and fresh but some are not.
They have anything you need for Asian Cooking, they are always very helpful & friendly
Great market with fresh fruits and vegetables
Every kind of fresh Produce, Meat, Fish and stuff!!
Awesome selection and everything we need to make our Nabe Pot :3
Lots of Asian groceries and snacks. good variety and the produce is rather fresh.
Nice and quiet.
I have bin shopping there for a years very good place to shop and good service but a lot of thing out of stuck.
