Overall it’s a good place to shop for a motorcycle, and the service is also good. I recommend that people do not work with Zeus. I feel as if he is a bit of a used car salesman, and certainly one with that mindset. Unfortunately, he appears to be in charge of sales, or at least has a lot, and often too much to say, even when one is not working with him direct. My advice would be to get everything spoken in writing. They would get a sold 4 star rating from me, and maybe higher, but with Zeus there, it’s just not possible to give it more than a 3 star rating. That said, buyer and seller beware when working with Zeus directly or indirectly. It’s too bad his sales techniques are not more about the customer and customer service. It always seems to be about him and his ego.

Went there for some service on my Atv. First off, they tell me that it would take 4 months to replace a clutch! Unbelievable. Was looking to upgrade anyways so I took a look at their showroom. Liked another rig so I sat down with Zeus to talk numbers and this guy tries telling me it would end up being $3500 then what the sticker was… why? $2k in dealer fees he had no explanation for. This isn’t a dealership. It’s a STEALERSHIP! Stay away!

Bought two ATVs from this location couple years - sales experience was very good (hence the 2 stars). Service however - much to be desired. I was trying to get them to pickup my ATV since the starter went on my Kodiak 700. Multiple messages were left. I even went in-person to try and set up an appointment but was told to take it elsewhere. I will either piss you off now or piss you off later - All they had to do was schedule a future date with me and fix the issue later. I would still be doing business with them but their communication is really poor (no follow-up) - this was a totally controllable poor experience that should have never happened. My business will be going elsewhere -

I would not recommend going to this for the sale of your motorcycle. This store presented an initial selling offer to buy my bike based on the year and mileage on the bike. In conversation with a salesman named Michael, I asked if selling additional items on the bike such as a steering stabilizer, frame sliders, anodized levers and flush mounted lights would increase the offered price, he agreed that there would room to negotiate based on what he called goodies. Being an attractive offer, I pursued the sale and when I arrived at the shop, the salesmen were content with buying the bike; the bike was per the picture I sent and as described in our conversation. I let their mechanic test ride the bike. When the time came to talk about the final sales price, the sales person I dealt with walked off, and in walked Zeus. I was low balled on the initial offer and told flat out that there was no room for talking with the price. When I mentioned that I had previous conversations about the value of the bike with their sale person Michael, he refused to comment. When I mentioned that we spoke about the sale of additional parts on the part, he repeated his low ball offer. I mentioned that I would have taken the parts off myself prior to coming, he told me keep them-- but my garage was 200 miles south of this store. Trailering the bike back down would cost more money in tolls and gas, and then re-trailer it back. I trailered my bike for the sole reason of this sale, based on my conversations with Michael, and they knew this--I took a bath on the sale of the bike. What disappointed me with this sale was the fact that I had asked about taking off certain parts prior to the sale, and that we talked about the dealer book value prior to coming to store. To me it is bad business to negotiate a deal with someone to get them into the store and then low ball them at the end of the deal, and for that reason I wrote this review for buyer beware.

This has got to be the worst dealership I have ever worked with in my life. Found a bike online (I live over 400 miles away) and tried to negotiate a fair offer only to be told on the first response to go pound sand and that I could not afford a used bike. I was taken back (not that I am wealthy, but I can afford nearly any motorcycle out there without question). Customer service was pitiful. Not even worthy of 1 star. Absolutely horrible. This was followed by emails calling me a walking penis (which made me laugh) and other vulgarity. Not sure about me, but this is not how I would allow my personnel to conduct business. One less sale and one less person to pass along a positive experience. I bought a bike from another dealer who knows how to treat customers. Long Island Kaw-Yam has at least one douche working for them. I hope for their sake they take care of that.

I wanted to trade - I anticipated with a small amount of extra cash to grease the deal along as Id be losing money on all of my accessories. Suddenly, according to some comical resident Economics Professor cum sales dude, Zeus, my bike (with $3000 worth of accessories) is valued at only the trade-in value while their bike is magically worth $4500 more at a number higher than high retail value! Holy crap!!!! I may not be a Wharton MBA, but Ive NEVER been so insulted. Hey, I have a firm grasp on capitalism just like the next guy, but this was completely laughable. How they keep their doors open is beyond me, cause business people they AINT! Unless, that is, they predicate their entire business on customers with IQs less than 75 regularly walking through the door! It is a sad day when a dealership is so slow they actually LIE and misrepresent a bike to make a sale. Simply put YOU CAN NOT TRUST this dealership. I met the owner, a salesmen (name?) and spoke at length with a sales person named Zuse.Zuse is the one who sold me on buying a classic 1987 FJ1200 for sale with only 4,182 miles for only 3k - I foolishly was not suspicious. This is not commentary on the normal expected wear of a 30 year old classic bike - it is the documentation of the lies and misleading and outright misrepresentation of a motorcycle by everyone I spoke to, including the owner who was there when I picked it-up.The photos in the ad showed minor cracking in the pinstripes on the tank, the windshield was replaced with an aftermarket one and that’s it. From the pics the rest of the bike looked amazing. The write-up claimed, “...this one is a survivor...only 4,182 miles...”I am a spiritual person and after hearing the story of the history of this bike from Zuse the employee at the Yamaha Dealership I took him at his word when I asked, “ what about all the plastics (?), breaks, and engin have they been serviced? He said, “The plastics are in great condition and it’s been serviced a few times over the years, the guy who bought it from them was older and a drunk. He didn’t ride it much and stored it in the winter hear (Long Island dealership) and then he died while the bike was here.”Wow, sounds like a real find, right. I gave $500, deposit over the phone and drove an 8 hour round trip to pick it up. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, including the Owner of the Dealership. I saw the bike, looked sweet, the owner started it for me. Foolishly I did not do a real microscope visual inspection because this is a Yamaha Dealership and I believed them when the owner said, “This bike is beautiful and ready to ride, the engin is perfect listen to that idol.” Along with everything Zuse said I trusted them. It’s home now a couple weeks later here’s the list of nightmares they lied about by not disclosing the truth and misrepresenting the actual condition of the bike. I also sent a very polite professional email asking about these things and When or if the engin oil, hydronic fluid and oil filer were changed. I sent this email twice and received no responce. Wow! Really unprofessional and also implies they have something to hide and are afraid to reply.HERE’S THE LIST SO FAR:*Seat has a burn hole the size of a cigarette and a 1” slice*The tank is really bad with more blemishes in the paint then just the black pin-striping*The Tank also has a gauge (a deep scratch) in the top red part, but it’s painted perfectly so it was not noticed until a closer inspection.*It is leaking oil - after a two mile ride I found drops of oil under the bike (not heavy but leaking)* Lower cowling R.side has serious scrapes, the left back mount is torn off & a 4” crack* Right side foot peg feeler is snapped off* R.side passenger foot rest is damaged and will not fold down. (bike definitely went down on R.side)*and OMG the left side engin case (above the shifter) has been painted (poorly with drip marks) clearly they were hiding more serious blemishes.* The bike being on an island with the Atlantic Ocean I’m not shocked I keep finding more and more rust on the frame - but for a Yamaha Dealership to Not disclose this and infact misrepresent the bike that is a crime called FRAUD.*The triple T and ignition area has way too much ware for a bike with, “...only 4,182miles on it that wasn’t ridden much...”, Zuse said and the Owner of the Dealership confirmed, and the other salesmen also repeated.DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, DO NOT BUY A MOTORCYCLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, there are other dealerships it’s just not worth the RISK.That lier replied & tried to demean me saying, “ ...what did I expect it’s a 30 year old bike.”>>> I Only Expected what YOU said about the bike would be True, nothing more, just the truth. It wasn’t true YOU are a Lier.

Repair shop is incompetent, two months down the tubes. Had a code 42 this summer come up on my dash of my fjr1300 which references the speed sensor. Made sense as my speedometer stopped registering MPH. Service ordered part and made my appointment. Brought bike in, had it for a day, asked me to pick it up, not fixed as they got the wrong part and had to order it, take a week to get. OK, so far acceptable. One week, then two weeks, why the delay? Told oh you know its coming from California, maybe didnt get shipped promptly. Three weeks, can you check where my part is? Oh Billy ordered it, you have to speak to him, but hes busy. Fine, have him call me. Two days pass no call. I call again, still cant get to speak to Billy. Next day call a third time, and I get to speak with Billy who tells me, he has NOT ordered part because he whats me to bring in my bike when he has another fjr1300 in the shop to use as a comparison for his testing so he can figure out what the problem is. The following week we make an appointment, but it rains, so appointment is canceled, will have to reschedule when the other customer schedules his repair. Four weeks later, yes Im a nut for entertaining this fiasco, I give up on Long Island Kawasaki-Yamaha and Billy as they never called me, and I take my bike to a Mineola dealer who same day confirms I need a speed sensor, orders it, gets it, installs it immediately and off I go. Note that the bad speed sensor plate was bent which could have caused its failure. So how does this get bent in the first place? This part during a tire change could have been mistreated. Guess who did the only tire change on my bike. Enough said. DO NOT PATRONIZE Long Island Kawasaki-Yamaha. Sincerely, Frank Licausi
