I came into the location not knowing exactly what I needed. My contractor did not explain it correctly. I was walking around the store kinda aimlessly. I ended up speaking to a gentleman named Orlando after he asked me if I needed help. He helped me choose and pick up the valve that I needed to get started and also showed me and sold me all the finished parts that I was going to buy online. After stating that I would write him a good review, he told me that it was not necessary because it was his job to help out everyone that comes in to the store. I just want to let the manager of this place know that they have an awesome employee!

I had an incredible shopping experience with Stevie. I went into the showroom late one afternoon to see if i can find a new faucet for my kitchen. I had an idea of what I was looking for, but most places I had been to or called did not have the item in stock, and i needed it fast!Stevie was very friendly and offered to help and I shared with her a few of items that I saw in the showroom. She created an account for me and shared several recommendations of faucets within the price range that I shared with her. She also provided recommendations based on previous sales and feedback.After talking through with my husband at home, I emailed her the very next morning to place an order. She was extremely helpful and wasted no time to place the order.I was so happy with the entire experience and I will be reaching out to her again for another purchase that I need.

Had such a great experience working with Jason! Went in to buy a few parts to fix a leak in my sink and I wasnt sure which ones I needed and what size. He was able to walk me through the whole thing and it was a breeze to fix when I got home. Highly recommend coming to this location and having him help you.

I have been working with Annie for years and she has helped me with 3 homes. As I now needed to work on an apt. in Miami I was so happy to find out that thru the Hicksville showroom I was able to outfit Miami. Annie is tops and Fergusons is lucky to have her. She has always exceeded all of my expectations. Just understand that when doing plumbing for a home you have to have patience and it can sometimes take time. No need for bad reviews!.

Steve in the Hicksville location helped me out to replace a 25 years old tub spout. He even knew what the manufacturer was of my old spout just from picture! He ordered the part for me, I picked up the new spout today (only took a day to get in) installed and works perfectly! Thanks :D

Do not, i repeat do not use the sales person named annie! she should be fired for how she treats her customers. always too busy to actually spend time with them. sat there and trashed talked other customers that she is dealing with as well. after waiting weeks to meet with her ( had no choice the company im doing work with uses her ) she was literally falling asleep behind the desk as she was talking to my wife and i. due to her being so tired when we asked about our vanity set we were told it came with the matching mirror. now months later she says she never said it and does not recall the convo. i wish i could return my whole order so she does not make a single cent off me. she is by far the worst salesperson i have ever ever dealt with. ferguson should be ashamed to have such an person working there. do yourselves a favor if shopping here, stay far far away from annie !!!

There are two kinds of people at this store that my husband Mo experienced with today around the noontime, the ugly and the good, not in the movie but in the front of the store serving customers.The first one denied issuing credit on unused parts returned while tossing around our credit card statement showing the purchasing date and charge amount at the store. The second one demonstrated with, instantly, his character in honesty and the professionalism in his career by recognizing the parts and the customer Mo, in this case, he served several months ago. His name is Bill, who processed what was supposed to be done.I would demote the ugly and promote the good if I were the store manager.

My wife and I are new homeowners on a budget. We recently decided to renovate our 2 very dated bathrooms and needed to replace all of the shower/vanity fixtures. We met with Annie Panico. Annie was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She shared that she comes from an interior design background which definitely gave her an advantage over people we had met at other stores. Not long after showing her pictures of our bathrooms and tile samples, she showed us around the beautiful showroom and helped us pick out the finish for the fixtures in each bathroom. In one bathroom we knew were going with chrome fixtures since we already had chrome sink faucets, towel rings, and cabinet pulls. The other bathroom was more challenging. It had white tiles with a black and brass accent that we were leaving (we are only retiling the shower stall). Our new vanity has a gray quartz top with specs of black. We were originally going to select bronze fixtures. Annie recommended going with matte black to better complement the other colors and bring the cost down. She knew all of the brands, features, and pros and cons of each. She created an account for us on Build.com (owned by Ferguson) so we could easily track what we selected and make changes. My wife and I first met Annie on a Saturday (which happened to be my birthday). We came back on Monday to finalize our selections and place the order. Annie stayed almost an hour after closing to answer last minute questions and make sure we were completely satisfied. She also did everything in her power to get us the best price on all of the products we selected. Her discounts ended up being better than our Contractors discounts! Throughout the whole process she was always responsive to phone calls, e-mails, and text messages. Annie helped us bring our renovation ideas to life and made my birthday extra special! My wife and I are so pleased to have worked with a caring, skilled professional like Annie. I would recommend Annie to anyone looking to renovate their bathroom or kitchen. You will not be disappointed!

The level of professionalism and customer service I received from bill taris was exceptional. I never expected go get such service but bill helped my purchase go so smoothly and effortlessly. Having a broken water heater and no hot water is nothing anyone wants to deal with but bill made The sale go so smooth. He answered every question, showing how knowledgeable he is about his field, and made the purchase and delivery flawless. The process was painless considering this covid-19 pandemic. Great service at the warehouse.

Terrible experience. Ordered hardware for my shower...they ordered duplicate items and billed me for over $700 of items I never requested. It took 2 months and over 20 emails asking for copies of my receipts and hours of my time spent on reconciling the invoices before I finally received my refund. After all that, they basicially said sorry. Needless to say, I ordered the rest of what I needed from AF Supply, they were great....go there instead.

Absolute worst customer service.

We needed to replace a toilet for one of our bathrooms. The service we received from Blackman from the receptionist to the deliveryman was seamless. Samantha Kreyling, our salesperson, was lovely to work with...personable, knowledgeable and efficient. Our selection was executed in a timely fashion and all inquiries were followed up immediately. I will definitely make future purchases at this site.

I am a interior designer, and I love working with Blackman in Hicksville. Gayle Shapiro is always friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. She is so patient and takes her time with her customers. The showroom is always neat and clean and have a huge selection to fit every style and price point. Those negative comments about customer service I find hard to believe. If you want one on one service, you should make an appointment and block off at least an hour to work with a salesperson. If you want to just stroll around and look at the latest plumbing fixtures on the market you don’t need an appointment.

I had an amazing experience with Annie at this store. She was incredibly knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. The store closed at 5:00 on Friday, Labor Day weekend, but she worked with us until 6:30.We have several large renovations to do, which we look forward to working with her on, as she is a talented interior designer, who knows her product.

The folks in the plumbing supply know nothing of the show room. I was asking for an unusual shower head and I almost left when a different guy suggested, as an afterthought, to check out the show room. The people there were great and had the information on exactly what I needed.. Both guys should have just directed me to the showroom rather than say they didnt have it., much less wait while they tried to look it up.

I worked with Gayle Shapiro to purchase everything for two bathrooms and a kitchen. I couldnt have done it without her! She is terrific! Extremely knowledgeable and has the patience of a Saint. She wrote the book on customer service!!!

Horrible experience. Before ordering from them I asked if I could have a shower body by certain day. They promised - yes. One month later they still cant get me a shower body. Playing tomorrow card and blaming it on Kohler. They do not return phone calls and dont even want to call Kohler to find out when it is coming. I would say inconsiderate and lazy. Will not recommend them to anyone to order from them You can use a show room to pick stuff up though. But order online.

I was totally discriminated against for being female...called the store to see if they had a part for my boiler...the man on the phone asked me the type of boiler I had, and then told me, without even checking, that they didn’t carry parts for that boiler...I asked if there was any where else that he knew of where I could possible look, he totally brushed me off. I called up the mineola location, they actually checked the inventory for me and said that he is showing that the HICKSVILLE location shows one in stock!! That’s where I called initially!! Sooo...my husband calls back the Hicksville store, spoke to the same associate named Steve...and he was so helpful to my husband...yet he didn’t give me the time of day...disappointed and will be contacting corporate...unacceptable

Nice showroom with great products, however salespeople are overly rude, and overall staff is useless. I would say their demeanor towards potential customers could be warranted if their products were proprietary, but they sell products you can get elsewhere at the same price, or less, with much better customer service. If you want to get inspiration, the showroom is great. If you want to be treated humanely, go elsewhere. NEVER AGAIN.

This place has the best workers behind the counter. Always willing to answer a question and help you out with any plumbing needs. They have several locations and this place is just as good as any other. Home Depot has nothing on this place.

Ignored (didnt have an appointment so warranted I guess, but zero customers at the time and I counted at least 5 employees) and out of this worls expensove prices. Went home and googled a few of the fixtures and found them 20-30% cheaper online. Also, poorly laid out showroom as its not very organized if you are unsure of your style or needs.

Helpful friendly staff. Makes sure I only visit them once and get what I need. Returns are a snap.They also carry the copper press connections no more waiting for parts to come online or searching big bin stores for copper press connections.One salesman double checked that the TPR valve was for the right application. Just in case I did not know the difference. Safe is better than sorry in those circumstances.Gripe is price at times but I like the back up with experience.

Sent email to corporate because I couldn’t get in touch with any store on Long Island - no response.Everything is back ordered with no time frame for delivery. Phone systems do not work. Computers in showroom do not work.Unfortunately, they are the only brick and mortar. Next time online.

Purchased all the plumbing fixtures for a new bathroom and kitchen here. The store is split between the stock area frequented by big burly plumbers, and the showroom for end consumers. They have an amazing selection in their showroom, comprising all sorts of brands, from simple faucets to fancy shower systems. Prices are decent, and usually heavily discounted from MSRP. If you comparison shop, note that sometimes big box stores have slightly different cheaper-made SKUs.You can walk in and put your name on a list on Saturdays, but should make an appointment beforehand for any other day. Its not a place for impulse purchases, be prepared to spend an hour per room and have measurements ready! How wide is your shower opening, what is your toilets rough-in size, etc.A lot of items may be in stock in this store or another Blackman location, but if you need something custom ordered be prepared to wait 3 weeks. Plan ahead!Gayle is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I havent worked with other salespeople at Blackman, but can highly recommend her.

We have been very pleased with numerous staff at Blackman plumbing Hicksville (and when we first visited the Wantagh store as well) in providing ideas and suggestions for our bathroom design. Having run into a few obstacles regarding Matte black finishes, and tub choice, Samantha, Barbara and Gayle have been patient and accommodating!! It was also nice to see ideas in the showroom.

We just finished our whole house renovation in Woodbury NY and only purchased Blackman plumbing fixtures and supplies. Our sales representative Samantha Kreyling was fantastic with helping us pick out all the plumbing fixtures for both our kitchen and 3 bathrooms. She patiently worked with us from the beginning to the end of both our kitchen, and 3 bathroom renovations. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to coordinate and design for both functionality and style. Samantha also resolved any issues with the contractor with regard to roughing concerns. I could have never completed this project without her guidance and help.

Barbara was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products sold in the showroom. I really enjoyed the design process.

If you enjoy being treated like dirt and want to stand around 45 minutes without anyone approaching you for help, blackman is the place for you. I had a few questions about an order I placed and wanted to go to check out options for a few other things, but after the unbelievably snobby experience at blackman I decided to note the items on the showroom that i liked, cancel my order, and purchase them elsewhere. I strongly advise against stepping foot in blackman unless you’re patience is at max capacity.

Excellent location great staff

This place has great selection of products but are extremely expensive. If you dont have a lot of time to spare, then dont stop in. Their show room really is great to go into and tons of people there to help you, but usually only one or two people behind the counter. The counter people are very helpful. However, I recently ordered a specialty product and when the plumber when to pick it up, they didnt have it and had to improvise. Someone attached it to someone elses order. When I called to find out what happened and where my piece was and how they were going to rectify the situation, the manager was not accommodating and didnt take any responsibility. It wasnt until saying that I was going to bring everything back that we had purchased, and it was a lot of money, that he offered to give me a refund and make the situation right. Just be very careful and make sure you get everything in writing.

I absolutely love the products and find the staff to be highly knowledgeable (whilst selling the products to you), but be weary when you have an issue and need to return something. I will not mention the sales associates name, but lets just say she does NOT return ANY phone calls. I have worked in customer service/retail for 5 out of 10 years that I have been in the work force, and I would NEVER treat a client like this; big or small. I spent over $9,000 at Blackmans in Hicksville. I will return for the products, but I will never use this sales associate again... terrible service.

Made purchases for new bathroom, shower bodies with jets, rain head shower, toilet, toilet seat, shower controls etc back in October-Novemebr 2016. My home was being elevated so, wanted to have the items for install. Project was delayed and plumber was installing toilet and npticed toilet seat was broken. Took it back to Blackman and they refused to do an exchange. States its past the 30 days. After, spending thousands of dollars. Spoke with manager and same result. Aboulutley refused. They offered me phone number to Kohler. Someone needs to let them know the meaning of Customer service becuase clearly they dont know what it means. Would never shop there or recommend them. Awful!!! They had no issues taking my money when purchase was made, but most definatley had problems making exchange or refunds. Its disgusting!!!!!

This company can be categorized into two sections. Plumbing supplies and fixures/tiles etcI love some of the designs they have on the show room. I found high end stuff here and purchsed it from here for convenience. Some faucets can be found on website for cheaper. I am sure they are def not the cheapest by a long shot, but it is NY, and rent, taxes can be blamed on your politicians.They have everything you need in terms of faucets, toilets etc. The show room is very big and you can visualize what you are buying. The carry middle and high end faucets. Low end stuff is for Lowes and or Home Depot.The place is designed for professionals so you must know what you are looking for. The reviews sound like they are coming from Home Owners, which is not fair to Blackman.
