Nice diner, they have lots of options. We liked their omelette and chicken Panini and burgers. Nice seats, clean. The only thing we didnt like was the coffee, it wasnt that good. It had weird taste to it.
Fast and attentive service and fresh food. The food is always good . Ive been here a few times and I have enjoyed it every time.... which is saying a lot because Im really picky!

We usually have Bobs favorite salad there. A large salad w/ either tuna or chicken salad on it. More than enough for two meals, always . Friendly staff, fairly easy to get to. Wait staff is there when you need them, but not on top of you when you dont . Pastas are cooked al dente, steaks are cooked as ordered. What more can you ask ? Keep it up folks, you have a winning combo there !!

I went here with my family for brunch, walked in and the waiter had no mask or gloves on. I had to ask him to put his mask on before coming to the table and he had an attitude afterThis made me feel unforgettable because I already knew that the crew in the back also wasn’t compliant as well!! I really wanted to eat here since Covid restaurants has suffered so much and I really wanted to feel comfortable going back out! But this wasn’t how I wanted to be greeted.

It’s nice having Steve and Family back to their old diner. Have eaten here for years, followed them to Farmingdale and now back to Hicksville. You walk in and you feel like family. Great food, service and prices. Highly recommend it and it’s the only diner we go to.

On Long Island we have no shortage of diners. Hicksville Diner should be your first choice to go to. I have had multiple items off the menu and every single one has been good. They make everything fresh! The staff is attentive and friendly. There is no long waiting to get your food ever. This is the diner Nassau county is supposed to have

Last night was our second time here. We went with another couple from Commack. The food the service are excellent. Large portions, decent price. The staff is friendly. There Saturday night special is pot roast they gave us a sample it was delicious. I highly recommend the Hicksville diner.

Not usually a diner person but we were starving and pulled in. Everything was surprisingly fresh and yummy. We had eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs and toast. Even the toast tasted fresh, not hard like the diners. Very friendly and good service.
The food is fresh, always a special of the day and plenty to eat. Someone always greets you with a smile. So nice to have our little diner back!

The original owners of Star Diner have bought it back and rebranded it as Hicksville Diner, and its now just as good as Star Diner was when it first opened. By far the best diner that I have ever been too.
