I have been dealing with Sam at NY Barbell for over 20 years. The help that he and his staff have given me has always been BEYOND great. Whether it is a small protein bar or drink or a pair of gloves ............. up to a full Home Gym System it was always the same....Excellent! Been going there for 7 years or so. They always had the stuff that Vitamin Shoppe didnt sell. Staff was always cool and knowledgeable. Their store has moved there still in Hicksville on Broadway. Thankfully. Highly recommend checking them out.

Hes a pioneer in the field & his store has evolved not only in supplements but also gym equipment for the home gym & commercial. Hes not only a business man hes also a friend.

The owner knowingly sells expired products for full price. They downgraded stores because the owner is a con arrest and people stopped going there.

This place is great. The store offers excellent prices for a vast array of fitness equipment and supplements. The manager, Steve, is very knowledgeable and will tell you honestly which products are good and which products are crap. I highly recommend this place if you live within 50 miles of Jericho. Well worth it.

They sell EXPIRED protein products! I repeat: they sell EXPIRED protein products! Not only is this deceptive, but DOWNRIGHT DANGEROUS! No good--stay away!

I bought 500LBS of Olympic Weight plates from these guys that were all defective! The center hole for an Olympic weight plate is supposed to be 2; however, these defects are close to 3! I tried to return these weight plates the following day and they would not accept them back saying I would need to contact the manufacturer--not them--for any compensation! To make things worse, they even tried to pretend like they never saw me before when it had only been one whole business day since I came back into their shop, and I was speaking with the same person who sold me these weight plates! I never had experienced this kind of deception before in all my life!DO NOT shop here. DO NOT shop here!
