I was very happy to see how clean the office was and how thoughtful they were at being sure they sanitized as much as possible. Dr Park was polite, thorough, and explained his concerned for me. He was gentle asking me how I felt each time I flinched a bit on certain needle insertions. I was very relaxed and comfortable with him. It was My first visit and so far so good. I’ll update my review after I’ve gone a while.

My mother has lumbar disc herniation with radiculopathy. She was in server pain for about a month and a half. She was in and out of the hospital the entire time. It was a difficult time for her and our family. The doctors prescribed her with oxycodone and muscle relaxers. They could not do any more than that. The meds did not work. She was in dire pain and could not walk. We were desperate and did not know what to do anymore. That’s when I decided for my mother to see Dr. Park. I was happy with his reviews I read and felt he could help her. It was the first time my mother was seeing him, and on the first visit my mother felt a little better. Yay we all celebrated. We were all happy and had been hopeful Dr. Park could help her. The second visit, my mother was walking again and had mild pain. It’s been 6 weeks since my mother has been seeing Dr. Park and is feeling like herself again. She is getting better with every visit. Dr. Park is our GUARDIAN ANGEL. He is so caring and attentive to my mother. He is now going to help her get rid of her diabetes. Dr. Park thank you very much for caring for my mother when she needed you the most. You are great at what you do. You are very special to us and we are forever thankful for getting our lives back to normal. Because when my mother isn’t feeling well, her children suffer. Been to other acupuncturist office and I can truly say Dr. Park is not the type who is interested in you coming just for the money. He truly cares about your well being & always gives you advice how you can help yourself as well. The office is clean & the staff is very professional & friendly. Dr. Park and Michelle are amazing !!! I cant remember the last time that I was not in discomfort I have suffered for over 7 years with my back and my hips . Since Ive been seeing Dr Park I can actually say that I feel amazing!! I feel like they have given me my life back I cant thank you Dr Park and Michelle enough you are truly amazing!!! I feel thankful for starting seeing Dr. Park at this difficult time of my life. I went through a family tragedy months ago and started seeing therapist but I felt the talking therapy cannot work fast enough. I have sleeping problems and the immune system has issues too. My experience at NY PAPA Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine has been a refreshing change. I went to NY PAPA frustrated and desperately seeking a viable alternative to western medicine for treatment of my right knee. The heel of my boot got caught in the pull of someones carpet as I was walking down their house stairs and it caused my knee to be extremely inflamed with difficulty in walking. I had received a very negative report from an orthopedic physician and he wasnt taking my recovery seriously at all. I know the body is designed to heal itself, and if I found someone who shared my views on this my knee would recover. NY PAPA has truly been a godsend. Since my first visit with NY PAPA on January 30, 2016, my knee has been on the road to full restoration and recovery. I feel that I owe so much to Dr. Park! I was desperate to find help for my out of control anxiety and panic attacks along with a major imbalance in my thyroid hormones. I felt I had adrenaline running through my veins and it was extremely difficult to relax along with my head spinning. I started to experience total burnout along with depression, everyday was a crazy nightmare. After my M.D. failed me multiple times in figuring out what was going on, I just couldnt take it anymore!Dr. Park not only was able to give me immediate relief from Day 1 of treatment!! he sat me down and explained to me what was going on with my system along with the reasons why I was feeling the way I was. He is a very caring person and even stayed late to make sure I was going to get treatment right away. Very upset and disappointed after being told by the front desk lady AFTER they finished my 2nd session that Im responsible for $200 deductible, while she had my insurance card before they start my 1st session and nothing was ever mentioned! Dr. Park has a great blend of Eastern and Western medicine thats been extremely effective in my overcoming debilitating foot pain.
