I purchased a cymbal online through LIDCs drumming deals website. Not only did i get a great cymbal deal (about half off the retail) but they shipped the cymbal protected on all four sides with the edges secured. Will definitely shop again with LIDC!

I have returned to the drums after 55 years, believe it or not. I visited the usual big box stores, Sam Ash and Guitar Center and the service provided was mediocre at best. Not until I visited the Long Island Drum Center didI receive superb service from a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dennis is outstanding in every way and has become my “go to” authority on everything related to drumming. I purchased a beautiful Ludwig Element Evolution drum kit from Dennis and I couldn’t be happier. Long Island Drum Center is the one stop shop for drummers!

Just returned after a 17 year hiatus. I was hoping to see Dennis behind the desk just as I remembered as a teenager, and there he was-(handsome Bastid). My parents used to drop me off as a kid, and Dennis was always welcoming to my family and I.I would never want to spend my hard earned money anywhere else! Its a family ran, local business and I want everyone to keep it that way!Now, 17 years later, I just bought my 3 year old daughter her first pair of drum sticks and pad (which she loves by the way) and I cant tell you how good it feels to keep this alive with THE LONG ISLAND DRUM CENTER.Thank you for the old memories and looking forward to keeping the spirit alive.

Called and asked about a 10 tombek that they had advertised on their website. Whoever I spoke to didnt know anything about it and he said that he would call me back soon with some info on it. They did call back but it was 4 hours later!! They were nice about it on the phone but i thought the call back would have been quicker!! Will still do business with them in the future!!!

I always had a great experience dealing with Dennis at LI Drum Center. Almost 40 years in the business really says it all! Also his in store drum clinics are the best!! A real nice guy and staff!

Ive been a customer for years and I would never go anywhere else

Disappointing and difficult staff to deal with. We tried repeatedly - over a 3 month period - to order from and contact them. They never replied to our e-mails or phone calls... we always had to call them back or send another e-mail after days & even weeks - just to place the order. Once the order was placed & they said wait 4-6 weeks, we waited and followed-up after getting zero status or updates. Once they answered the phone, THATs when they told us the order was never processed and our items arent available. Thats strange since we ordered those same items from another business later that day with a promised delivery within 2 weeks. Maybe LIDrums in-store service is better, but I wont try ordering online from them again.

I prefer to buy online, nobody is trying to influence my choices, or steer me to what they have the most on stock of. If going there makes you feel in tune with your drumming, so be it! Too bad too, I like checking out the gear!

He has Always treated better then any other retail shop.!!!I have made numerous purchases ( several drum kits, cymbals, DVDs, sticks, racks ) and I always come back to Dennis with a price quote from another shop and he AlWAYS tries to satisfy my concerns. And I end up completely Happy with my purchase.Thru the years, I have asked for odd pieces at times, and they go above and beyond to find exactly what I am looking for.Also, thru the years, I have gotten to see some of the greatest players at Denniss seminars ( Tim Alexander ) or clinics.I am presently going back to LI for an upgrade on my Roland TD-30 kit, to a TD-50.I hope LIDC is around for as long as I am.To keep me happy in my second love in my lifeDrums.!!!!!! I have been going to the Long Island drum center since the original Commack store when I was a kid, I am now 35 years old and would never think of going to any other shop. Dennis always does right.
