Frank is a straight shooter. I paid for an $800 paint job and that’s what I got. No more, no less. My expectations were low with every bad rumor I’ve heard about Maaco. But frank and his crew knocked it out of the park. My trucks paint was absolutely terrible! They sanded the fire out of this thing and cleaned it up nice. Very nice job done here on my S10. I’m not saying there isn’t some over spray or some orange peel but again, it’s an $800 paint job. It looks magnificent to me for what it is. If you want to freshen up your ride, then see frank. If you want something that looks like it came out of the next fast and furious movie, then go spend 3k with someone else. Or pay frank 3k haha. Appreciate the help on this Maaco in high point. Definitely was worth my money.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the paint job. Frank did exactly as he promised and I will be using this Maaco again. Not a good experience with the Maaco in Winston-Salem but Frank has made me a believer in HIS shop. Would highly recommend Maaco of High Point.

Its cheap but you arent getting a bargain. The best case scenario is you will get what you pay for. If theres any dust or dirt at all on your body youll see it again when you pick your car up. I had 2 painted there a month ago and really wish I had just left them as they were. I tried to upload some pictures but this wont allow me to. Probably good for them it wont.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. I got into an accident and my fender was completely ruined and the mirror needed to be replaced. i’m in college and was VERY worried about the time and money it would take to fix my car... but they were able to replace the parts AND match the paint perfectly in just two days. I’ve never been more thankful...the work these people do here and the kindness they showed me is unparalleled and I am very appreciative. There isn’t a single body shop you should trust your car with besides Maaco in high point. They exceeded my expectations with the time it took to fix my car, the price they charged for the work, and the quality with which it was completed. They even went above and beyond to fix low coolant levels and touch up the rim paint. I owe them everything- they’re good people and you shouldn’t take your car anywhere else!! before and after pics below.

Brought in my 1987 Ford F150 with all sorts of different old paint conditions all over it, and Frank and his team did an awesome job making it look new. I went with the basic single-stage paint job since its an older truck. I know it wont last as long as the higher quality paint jobs, but it will look great for a while and be a lot more protected from rust than it wouldve been. I was really happy with the customer service and the whole process. These guys are really on the level and want to do their best. The edges and evenness look great on this thing. Will paint the inside of the bed myself with liner; its looks unpainted in the photo cuz it is.There was no upselling or anything like that. Just honesty. Frank even let me use his air tank to fill up my flat (old) tire, after hours, too.

Macao really did a great job on my 2003 taurus I was very pleased and looking forward to have them paint my truck

I’ve heard the horror stories of Maaco and must say I was a bit hesitant to bring my vehicle to them. My thought, everyone/every shop deserves a chance to prove the haters wrong and this shop did that ten fold. The job they performed on my vehicle has exceeded my expectations in every way, and to be honest I am thankful I gave them an opportunity. Aaron did an awesome job with the initial estimate and walk around on my vehicle and letting me know what all they were going to do and gave me prompt and fair pricing for what I was looking to do. Renee was as friendly as they come and was able to answer most questions I had and if it was something she didn’t know, she got me the answer almost immediately. I hear all the time you get what you pay for with any paint or body service and while that’s true, there’s no mistake that this shop takes pride in the work and the satisfaction of their customers and it shows in the end result of the work they perform, even though they’re charging quite a bit less than other shops. I would recommend them to anyone needing paint work, and will look forward to using them in the future for any paint or body work needs. Thank you guys for the awesome job!

You are weighing your options if you are reading my review. You work hard for your $You want your good running car to have more life to her. You might even want to have a little more confidence about driving her around town. Your human. That peeling clear coat and sun faded paint may or may not give you an inferiority complex. Get er did. Pricing was good, but the work was very unsatisfactory. Im now having to fix my own body work and repaint my car just to make the orange peel and overspray go away. They also painted over my trim and taillights, which will ultimately cost more than the original paint job to fix, I honestly could go on and on...Go anywhere else!

Horrible!!! I went there after making an appointment and calling several times to ensure that my car would get an estimate. I was in an accident and informed them several times of the issue with my car. I wanted to make sure that I wouldnt be waisting time or money. I made my appointment online explaining that car wasnt drivable and that we would not be using insurance to and that we would be towing it over. I also spoke with 2 different people regarding the appointment and they both said, bring it in. I must admit that I was skeptical because Ive always known them to do mediocre paint jobs, but after visiting the website, I read a great deal of information that influenced me to change my mind. collision repair and affordable plans caught my eye. . Once I get there after $75 to get it towed, they immediately ran out and said they werent expecting the car and couldnt help me before even looking at the car. The lady said, Did you call and tell us your were bringing this? Theres nothing we can do for you. We dont handle big jobs like this. Meanwhile, there were cars in worse condition on the lot waiting to be fixed, Long story short, my car was never removed from the tow truck for disassembly or an estimate. Both the lady and a guy said, youd be better off taking it to the car the dealership, we cant help you. Obviously if I had the money to take it to a dealership, I probably would have done that. I ended up paying an additional $30 to get my car towed back home because of their false advertising and discrimination. I think they saw that I was black and was paying out of pocket, and they decided that they werent going to help.

Have taken my Ram to Frank on 2 different occasions to have repairs done. Both times my Ram looked like it just came off the show room floor thanks to Frank and his crew. They did such a wonderful job.

Needed the hood of my car painted. Was told I needed the base/clearcoat service which is considerably more expensive. When I picked up the car, the hood had bumps and blemishes. They painted over dirt left on the hood. I asked if the blemishes could be repaired. I was given an emphatic NO. I requested a discount for the poor paint job. Again, I was told NO. The rude representative told me that customers come to Maaco to save money and should not expect a good paint job. To make matters worse, the car was dirtier that when I brought the car to them. It was covered in dust, both inside and out. I am totally disappointed with their service and will never do business with this poor establishment.

Just picked up my second car that was being repainted. One car was done 9 months ago. Bought it with 190,000 so did not want to put a ton of money into it but everything worked. Paint just looked really bad. They did a great job and the paint still looks as good as the day I picked it up.The second car was involved in an accident. Frank and his group did a nice job. Car looks better than it has in a number of years. We were not trying to make either car look brand new since they both had a fair amount of mileage but we wanted them to look nice. Met our expectations and the price was reasonable.

About a year ago I hit a deer down in Trinity. Scared the hell out of me. It messed up my front end pretty bad, but the staff at Maaco in High Point, NC was able to fix it good as new and for such an affordable price. If you need any king of body work/paint work this is the place to go. Super professional staff, quick job turn around, and completely sound work. 10/10 will use their services again if needed. Took my car there to have it painted and minor body work done. I had it stripped and it needed minor dings repaired and painted. when I picked up the car none of the dings were fixed but it had a nice paint job. when I asked why they didnt fix the dings or why they didnt call me to ask if I wanted them fixed they said they couldnt see any when they started painting..(they said you signed that the body work was done but they were told that all I had done was strip the paint to bare metal and it needed the dings fixed) .this is a body shop, how could they not see them From 10 feet it looks great any closer and I get asked why didnt I have the dings fixed....be very careful if you take your car to this place...for the money I spent they should have done a better job for $1500 dollars...

Prior to taking my 4-runner to Macao in High Point, NC, I was very hesitant due to the generally poor reviews for most of these franchises nationwide. I met with Frank at this franchise who gave me a good insight behind the poor reviews. As a businessman, I understood Frank’s reasoning and believed him. In any event, all I can say is that they did an excellent job. The small repairs were done without evidence they were ever there and the whole vehicle paint job was perfectly matched to the original. Save my life TWICE. I had to get my cars fix there twice. The Paint job as perfect. The collision repair was also perfect. They know what they are doing. Saw some small issues before leaving the companys lot with my freshly painted dusty car, but overall good paint job for under $500. Oh yeah, they did not return the front bumper license plate holder that came with the car, just purchased another one.

I am disappointed. It took several days longer to repair my car because of issues getting factory parts. When I picked my car up, the interior was FILTHY! There was paint dust on every surface, dirty footprints, and broken parts littering the interior. They explained they dont detail before returning- it appears they try to dirty instead. Was told I could bring it by later to be cleaned off. I opted to clean it myself.

These people are deceitful. I went here after backing my car up into a fire hydrant and got a quote. I did not inform my insurance and planned on paying out-of-pocket. I ended up finding a cheaper place and went there. A week later, I get a call from this Maaco saying that my insurance called and told them i need to hurry up and get it fixed or they won’t cover it. But i never told my insurance about the accident. I called my company just to verify and they had no clue what I was referring to. I wouldn’t trust them to do anything for me becuase that’s honestly just low. I’m a teenage girl and they were trying to take advantage of me

Got my bumper painted there very good people, actually go and see for yourself others would not take my bumper to paint this Macco did a very good job, love the outcome and like the people that did it communication was great. This macco is better than the surrounding ones.

The $399 package wasnt good. Then they told me, I needed the $1,500 package after the paint job was done. Then they said their paint job didnt turn out right because of the previously paint job. But my car was never painted before. Also, my friend got the $1,500 paint job and his car look just as bad as mines. So Im very confused, and cant recommend them.

I had the front lip paint matched to my 2010 civic si. Paint looked factory and matched well considering my factory paint was a few years old. Every one there is polite and the service was fast and price was well worth it. will do business again very soon !

Maaco painted my 1991 Nissan 240SX. They did a great job, the staff was friendly, and the turnaround time was quick. I have shown my car to multiple people who cannot believe it was painted there for under $500.00. I account it to proper prep work, and a great job by the staff taping off the vehicle to prevent overspray. This is the Maaco to go to.

Not happy drove 20 mins to get here on Saturday because their website clearly says they are open. So I call # and it transfers me to customer service who says website is wrong but you can drive another 25 mins to Winston-Salem they open. Very rude like guess they don’t need my business but High point CLOSED on Saturdays.

I don’t see the difference between the 1300.00 and 1600.00 paint job of u buy the 1600.00 paint job u will get the 1300.00 work. So don’t give them a 300.00 tip for the same job they will do for 1300.00. Now that I got that out of the way the only thing I didn’t like about my paint job is they didn’t put enough clear coat on it so my new paint job is more dull than my 3 year old paint job I got done

Recently had my mothers 1989 Honda repainted at Maaco. Frank was extremely helpful and was able to do the job when we arrived.I cannot believe how great the car looked and my 83 yr. old mother was estatic to have her old car look new again. I recently had my 92 Acura Integra painted by Macco in High Point, early 2014. hawn Dallas was very helpful with me choosing my paint color & going over all the details. I had body work along with paint for $550! My car was in & out in less than a week. I couldnt have been more happier with the finished product! Maaco sucks especially these guys.. You get what you pay for and if you want a shiny car for 3-4 months sure go to them but dont expect restoration quality..and dont expect good service from the children running around there

Ust wanted to let everyone know about my experience with maaco in high point NC on wetover Dr and how I was treated there. I went there wanting a custom paint on my miata. I met up with whom I assume was the owner/Boss there. His name was frank. He was very rude from the start and seemed to have a real attitude problem. When we talked over what I wanted he suddenly said Im out When I asked him what he meant by that he said I mean I wont do it He then walked back inside and left me standing in the parking lot. I cant recommend that anyone EVER goes there to have there car painted. I am still very upset about the way I was treated there and would urge you all to go elsewhere.

Paint was decent but I had over spray on my rims and my exhaust, and when I got my car back and went to wash it I seen that the bottom of my windshield what broke and cracked where they dropped something on it

Didnt honor their warranty, my contract says the paint job comes with 2 year warranty. But when I call them back because I saw some areas chipping. They said it was no warranty and nothing they can do.

Oh oh! Id Rather NOT get maaco! The lady at the front desk is rude as HELL. The manager takes up for her. These people just painted over the old paint. Got paint on my tires and under the car.

The lady in the office is very rude, paint peeling off after 3 days. Then she told me its my fault its peeling off. And they got paint on my tires and windshield.

My son picked up his 2000 mustang gt today only to get home and notice something had been dropped on the bottom off the windshield and broke it and not only that when he started washing the car there were over spray all over his wheels and exhaust tips so they new they broke his window and didnt even bother saying anything so we will never do business with them again..
